Every time we need something fixed/replaced they don't check their work. Something is always missing, nit fixed or nit fixed correctly. We end up having to wait around for them to correct it. We have to make a 12 hour round trip drive each time. Camper valley do better! Check your work before the customer arrives and does their walk through. read more

Any reputable company would be offering to buy our van back at full purchase price plus add-on warranty contract cost (which is worthless FYI), interest to cover finalizing the buy back deal and the months we've been paying now, and also damages to cover having to use PTO, diesel, food, and lodging to get to WA to an authorized dealer who is allowed to replace the entire lithium system they destroyed. I've never felt slimier doing business with a company than after Camper Valley. Won't list all the details because that's beyond this forum but RUN and don't believe a word they say. Should have refused delivery of our van (WAY more expensive than their typical flimsy campers) but stupidly took them at their word. They will either not disclose known issues, hide the issues, or never knew about them because they never inspected the rig you just paid big $$$ for. If you don't know how to fix something I guarantee randomly attaching electricity won't help but yeah that happened. Zero respect for women, only address the males, and take offense to questions asked questioning their "fixes." Oh, and you can only speak with your salesperson even while it's rotting away being destroyed in the service department. I sure would like to be able to use our expensive adventure van that's now sitting indefinitely down in WA awaiting repairs to what they destroyed and is not the condition it was when we signed our lives away. We purchased an RV from Camper Valley recently. They admittedly FUBAR'd the house battery. But will they pay for our expenses incurred in taking it to a certified Renogy/Jayco dealer to fix their admitted FUBAR? Don't hold your breath on that. Have a lawyer ready. Instead, they decided to barely get it working so they could hand it over to us with multiple electrical fault codes. They didn't even bother to recalibrate the Firefly system once the battery was "OK" likely because they couldn't, it was still in protection mode. After contacting Renogy we were told it was hazardous to operate the battery in the condition it was in with a 5000mv cell imbalance. This was all also after two alleged pre delivery inspections in which it was held for 6 days to perform. read more

Prices are eye popping at Camper Valley. I was trying to buy a new in stock 2022 twenty foot Outdoors RV Back Country edition, and it was without options as far as I know. Unthinkably it was going to be over $60,000. A $6,900 freight charge, a $2,500 set up charge, and full msrp. I ended up buying a brand new 2021 twenty-one foot 21KVS down in Oregon for $39,995 off of $45,506. Then I paid $4,900 to ship it back by sea to the Anchorage Port. The Outdoors RV dealer also delivered it to the Tacoma Port free of charge; I had to pick it up at the Anchorage Port. There was no set-up fee, the distribution hitch was free of charge. Even with shipping I spent approximately $7K to $10K less. read more

These people are all about sales, and very little about service, its like once they have your money from purchasing an RV from them for $60 THOUSAND DOLLARS, they forget your name and could care less, I took my rv into them on 9/24 for a short list of very minor repairs under warranty. They completed 6 out of 7 repairs as of 10/1, and called me asking if I wanted to come pick up the unit and bring it back at a later time, or leave it because they had to order a part. The same day, I told them order the part and fix it while its still there, they said ok it will be 7 days for the part to arrive and I would pick it up when it's totally finished, come to find out no one ever ordered the part. 22 DAYS LATER from original drop off I picked the rv up and the part had only just been ordered on 10/14 and I told them to send the part to my address, I would install it myself, I don't have time for it to sit around forever because they are too incompetent to communicate to me and themselves about what is going on and what needs to happen, While picking the rv up I also observed BOTH my propane tank valves had been left wide open, and the 12v master switch left on for the batteries, 2 of which in the battery bank are very expensive gel batteries which were probably damaged and have had life taken out of them from being totally discharged in the cold. I could not lift the jacks on the 5th wheel with totally discharged batteries even with my 7 way plugged into the truck so I called them over to jump it and finally got it to lift, I also asked WHY my hitch had been left unlocked and why my padlock was just shut on the safety chain, where anyone could have stolen the rv, when every other rv had locks on the hitches around mine, and the reply was oh you cant lock a gooseneck and just a shrug, on the bottom of your repair order it clearly says "It is also understood that Camper Valley RV or their employees will NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO THE ABOVE UNIT OR ARTICLES LEFT IN UNITS IN CASE OF FIRE, THEFT OR ANY OTHER CAUSES BEYOND CONTROL. I could go on and on about the sloppy attention to detail and lack of communication with this whole sales and service company and how disappointing this experience has been for me. Camper Valley RV sold us a unit that had a cracked water tank. And it took them 4 months to get it from the manufacturer. The customer service was great at first but negotiating was an issue, and then after we signed on the dotted line, any respect or customer service was non existent. We personally had to keep calling them to get our water tank here. Wendy was the only one who offered any kind of apologies, so thank you. Once the sales man handed his job off onto her, she was a good point of contact. Once we picked up our trailer, it still had some damages that were not fixed and was not fully cleaned. Dog hair under the beds, windows had something spilled on them, scratches were to be touched up, screens with debris, bugs and cotton wood...at the point of 4 months paying on a trailer we couldn't use, we decided to just fix it ourselves. The guy who does the instructions at pickup, was confused as to why we didn't have our license plates yet. I called Wednesday to find out where they were and as usual, the salesman said "I'm finishing up a sale and I'll check on it, the dmv is backed up" . It's 3 days later and I never heard back from them. The dmv is backed up for 4 months???!!! I really hope that this company can turn things around and have better customer service and treat people like they actually matter and not just a number. The wife and I stopped in on a cold winter day to take a look at a few campers. We had a few already in mind before we pulled in, but that quickly changed when we looked at price tags! Wow, Alaska is so expensive! Upon entering the building, an employee greeted us and told us to let him know if we needed anything. Turns out, he is one of the mechanics on ground and offered to show us around since the other associates were busy. For 45 minutes we tromped around outside in the snow, checking out all the campers [we previously thought] we were interested in. Although the prices didn't quite settle with us, we were more than happy with the customer service from Camper Valley RV and would gladly return if/when we have space to afford the Alaska-sized RV/camper prices! read more

I have had two interactions with this company. One when my husband and I were looking for RVs they were very kind and knowledgeable and showed us around several units giving us a lot of information. We were very pleased, but we ended up buying an RV in the lower 48 but we really appreciated their time. Just got off the phone with them with a question about my RV that I have currently and The person I talked to on the phone was knowledgeable and nice and gave me information that I needed about how to get my RV working in the winter time.
