Campfire is a must have if you are hungry and looking for a plate of food that is going to fill your stomach and make you leave feeling happy. Our server AJ was so pleasant and even with a full restaurant and a lot of people waiting to eat, the staff was pleasant and doing a great job at serving and pumping out food. I had the smash burger with bacon and it was delicious! The menu said the beef is locally sourced and the flavor/ seasoning was great! The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned as well. Overall a great experience in a nice looking restaurant. If you are in Helen looking for a bite to eat, look no more!

Stopped in after our hike in Helen cause some of the locals recommended it to us. Everything was just alright. The place was pretty empty but the service was super slow. The pork was definitely the best thing we ordered but it was dry could use more sauce.

Ohhhh Yes! Love the food, unique, fun, and you can tell everything on the menu had thought put into it. You have to keep coming back because there's so many items I want to try! Everything we ate was delicious. Daughter had a burger, I had the nachos, husband had their fried chicken, son chicken fingers, other son had fish and chips. Omg the slaw is some of the best I've ever had!

Our server was great Food was good. I would recommend the chips & queso! Decent food, mostly decent prices. The music was fire AF though so if you go to dinner in hopes of taking in some awesome tunes, you'll be happy here I do want to add they might want to check some of their entitled younger staff members. We originally sat outside but there were two toddlers that started screaming and crying. They continued for over 5 minutes so I asked if we could move inside. Literally after only being sat for 7 minutes and our server had only brought us water. Coming from the industry I understand this creates an issue with servers and their sections so I get it but to have a server be rude and make a snide comment "well let me know if the next one is actually my table and I can have my section back" AS SHE WALKED PAST OUR TABLE was so incredibly uncalled for. But I do understand her frustration. But being rude to the customer bc another customer made a situation very unpleasant isn't how you should handle it. I almost left 3 stars bc of this but it's not fair to everything and everyone else there that was awesome

Helen Georgia~ Cute lil cafe! I had the fried green tomato salad. I love fried green tomatoes. These were nicely breaded, but very mushy and tasteless tomatoes. Disappointing, but the rest of the salad, including their smoked Caesar salad dressing, was really delicious. Cornbread croutons topped off the salad and they were super yummy. Everyone else had a version of the smash burger. One person had chili cheese fries, one person had a gluten-free bun, someone else had regular fries, and one also had the Mexican street corn salad. All agreed that the burgers were juicy and delicious! Sides were good too! Definitely would recommend this place, even though the service was extremely slow. I think the guys made the food with love and patience.

After a fun afternoon making candles in Sautee Nacoochee we asked for lunch recommendations and this place sounded great. So we headed over to Helen for some burgers. There was a huge parking lot inside a plaza with other stores. Warning that my cell service was very intermittent while they to navigate here so plan ahead for directions. We took a seat and the menu had a lot of appetizing choices. We went with the smash burgers and they were delicious. The fries were well seasoned too. If I had room for dessert I would've kept going. I really wanted to try the campfire s'mores pie. The food was a 5/5. The service was good and attentive. My family and I were engaging In conversation and catching up with each other. Now this is where the lower rating comes in. We were politely asked to vacate our table after we had finished our food. We were deep in conversation and told that they were prepping for the dinner rush. I wouldn't say it is completely unfair to request this, however it wasn't the vibe we were going for. It did sour the experience the bit. If you are looking for a quick in and out meal, this is your place. The food is delicious and there are so many tempting things on the menu. However, if you are looking for a slower paced meal where you can chat and hang around a bit after, this is not the place.

We ordered the campfire smash and a plate of nachos. The burger was great! The nachos were an 8/10 for me, wonderful in house made chips but I do wish the toppings came with a little more meat, it felt a little stingy for the price. Flavor was great though! The restaurant is pretty small and our server was great, she gave us enough space and time to look over the menu without forgetting we were there. Would go again

We started with the fried green tomatoes; absolutely unique flavors with feta, balsamic and hot honey...I could not get enough of these! Food was pretty good! It wasn't too bad! Nice! The service was rather quick and they were really nice! The thing that stuck out to me the most was probably the look of the place! It makes me feel like I am having food in a house rather than a restaurant and I think that's pretty cool! The ambiance is pretty nice! If you are a countryman, I'd recommend you come to this place because there is country music playing and it feels pretty country like! Overall, nice restaurant!

This is the ribeye steak with Mac n cheese. So good!

We go here almost every weekend and the food and service is always AMAZING! I highly recommend the ribeye steak it's so juicy and just melts in your mouth, they also get all of their meat locally so it's great! I also recommend the chips and queso appetizer as well as the fried green tomatoes, they are hands down the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is also great with options to sit on the outdoor patio, it's great

Time is the most precious thing you have. We only had one night in Helen and plan to eat at campfire. When we arrived, we had to wait approximately 20 minutes, which is fine. When we were seated, they sat us in a back hallway right in front of the kitchen swinging door. The kitchen staff was blaring music, which started off the headache. I asked if we could move and she said sure. We ordered and then started to wait. And wait. And wait. She finally came over and said that she had forgot to put our order in and would I like a drink on the house. My wife suggested a martini and the waitress said, "yeah right". The waitress said she would bring me a tea. We waited another 30 minutes and never got our food. We got up and politely offered to pay for the salad that we had eaten. They said that's OK. I didn't time it, but I would say we sat there for about 45 minutes to an hour. They wasted our time and one night of our dinner in Helen. I have no idea if the food is any good. I will never know because I won't go back.

Pathetic is all I have to say. We are in town for my mother's birthday, it was a busy night and we knew there would be a wait. so we put our name down and waited about 35-40 mins. Time goes by and we are taken inside and seated. A couple minutes later, the manager , I assume comes over to us and says that this table was wrongly given to us and we needed to leave. He said that a 12 top needed to fit here and there clearly was no room for that. He than quickly ran away from us. Very sad that your employees sat us and we were kicked out. We will be giving out business elsewhere. I work at a restaurant and this type of service is pathetic. We were very excited to go to this spot but clearly we will not be back. read more

The food was fine. Nothing great, as the chili was room temperature and the portions didn't seem worth the price. The trouble was the service. Once we got sat at our table, we waited about 10 minutes before anyone came up to ask us for drinks. After we got waters, it took another 10 min for them to be delivered at our table. Our waitress took 5 minutes to get a side of ranch and kept forgetting about us throughout the meal. Wouldn't come back, it was just alright. read more

I can't say enough good things about this brand new entrant to the Helen restaurant scene. The hand cut 14 oz ribeye steak is easily the best in the county, and would hold its own in a big city restaurant. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and was served with a butter poached lobster tail that haunts my dreams. Another standout is the smashburger with crinkle fries. Desserts are made in house by the talented young pastry chef and are always fantastic. I give this place my highest possible recommendation! read more

We had a great experience here yesterday for a late lunch. For starters, absolutely loved the outside window art - very appealing. Next, the staff greets you from the beginning and our service throughout our meal was top tier (very attentive and helpful). To make the experience even better every single dish we had was delicious. We had the pork sandwich and plate, mac and cheese and kids Alfredo. Everything was delicious! 10/10 recommend - best food in Helen. read more

$10 burger, no fries, no lettuce, no tomato. Costs extra to add garden items. $29 for two burgers. One single, one double with two tap waters. These were not campfire flame grilled burgers. This was our 5th time there. I have had their fried chicken 4 out of the 5 times that we have went there. We went there again last night and something changed with their chicken. It wasn't near a large pieces as it used to be and it was no longer the crunchy batter on it that I was used to getting. What happened to grandma's crunchy fried chicken recipe. We brought two other couples with us to try it and we were all disappointed. I miss grandma's fried chicken recipe. read more

Super weird location (right next to dollar general) but super good food. They are a little pricier for where they are located but you get good portions of food. Our server was very nice but wasn't as attentive after we got our food. We ate on the patio, which wasn't very clean after looking around. The inside of the rest looked very nice and clean though! read more

Service was great! We got some chips and queso for an appetizer and the chips were homemade and very good. The queso didn't have a lot of flavor. My wife and I both got the smash burger. Campfire is a convenient and awesome spot for a great tasting meal! My whole family ate there this evening for dinner. We all ordered burgers and they all came out perfectly! Their fries are crinkle cut and the seasoning on them was a delicious addition. The ambiance is very causal and the musician on Saturday night the 7th of December was so great! The Burger and fries were excellent. Tasty, fresh, hearty and crispy fries. I opted to change government (American) to cheddar. The logo on the bun is a nice touch. The atmosphere is average. Was hoping for something that matches the campfire name, perhaps more dimmed lighting or string lights to provide a cozy and warm feeling that matches the name but it is located in a shopping mall so it appears that they are working on customizing their space since newly opened. The wait staff is a bit inexperienced but I give her 5 stars for effort. I'm sure they will get all the kinks ironed out soon and staff will gain more confidence. The location has plenty of free parking and is conveniently located. At the time of this review, they have yet to put their shingle out on the building and the former business sign is there but the window has an attractive mural of name & logo. Burger is a double so I took the rest of it to go. I left satisfied about the food and the price was as expected. Their special sounded delicious but I was craving the burger. Always eager to cheer on a new establishment that is not a chain! I'm so happy to see more growth and variety! read more

All the food was delicious, we had the smash burger, chicken tenders, impossible burger for the vegetarian and chicken Alfredo. Food was good, service slow and they weren't even a full house. Asked for more dressing for my salad and they brought it, hubby asked for more bar-b-que sauce for this sandwich and they brought it...then looked at the bill and they charged 50 cents for each container. With all the competition in Helen Georgia its ridiculous that they charged extra. Small little detail that made me not want to go back. read more

The shrimp price per pound is as reasonable as you will find including the small fee to devein and pack on ice for you. I love trying new recipes with the fresh fish and salmon. I've purchased and prepared entrees with fish I had never heard of such as the Sheephead. Delicious!They even have a recipe book on site that I pre planned a meal with. I have never been disappointed with anything I have gotten here and the folks are the best; very hospitable going above and beyond. I highly recommend and have went as far as giving shrimp to folks so they can taste for themselves CC's is worth their patronage. What they do not sale fresh on the 3 days they are open, they flash freeze and sale for 10% off which I love so I can always have something for dinner. I have included photos of some of my epic meals prepared with my CC's purchases.

Folks, we dont get out often, ( due to the APB fm Habersham County SD on me, Ha Ha!!). We are locals. Went to campfire yesterday, best steak, BY FAR, in the area. Had the filet and my wife had the rib eye. Both were GREAT. Although I'd like to drop names, I won't, but in comparison to other steaks we've tried in the area, both our cuts were great. These folks WILL BE our go-to place for a good piece of meat. Have to mention, be careful with the sides. The mashed potatoes were good, the mac and cheese was good. Need a little bread to go with the meal and add an appetizer beforehand. As I said in the opening, we dont go out often, but when we do, we will be headed to Helen, mid-week, early hours. Campfire in Helen is a must-visit! We stopped in for a meal and were blown away by the food, service, and overall experience. The smash burgers were absolutely awesome--perfectly crispy edges, juicy inside, and packed with flavor. The pulled pork sandwich was just as impressive, tender and full of smoky goodness. Beyond the food, the service was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance was spot-on, with a cozy yet lively atmosphere that made for a great dining experience. The menu had a great selection, offering something for everyone. For starters, the service was amazing, and we had the sweetest waitress. The atmosphere was nice and family friendly. Finally, the food....it was outstanding! Would recommend it to anyone! We only had two pics of what we ordered, but the rest of our group tried several other dishes, apps, and sides. It was all fantastic! We were just visiting for the weekend but this a place I definitely wish was local to me! read more
