Wife and I have been here a handful of times with friends. It can be hit or miss with food but atmosphere is really nice. They have a good size bar and service is always good. Nice place to watch a game that isn't too much like a sports bar. read more

Was going there for awhile, then they changed their menu flat bread pizza the crust was so thick ot was like eating a loaf of bread in 1 bite, calamari was tough and over cooked. Sad use to be good. read more

This was such a pleasant surprise! Service was great! Restaurant is beautiful with a nice atmosphere and huge bar area. Food was outstanding and served hot. Everything done the drinks to the appetizers to the entrées was fantastic! We'll definitely be back and soon! Highly recommend! This was honestly the worst restaurant experience my husband and I have ever had. We were told it'd be a 5 - 10 minute wait, which actually was about a 45 minute wait with no acknowledgement that it would be longer than expected. When we were sat, things got worse. The raspberry coconut mojito had no coconut flavoring. The buffalo chicken dip was basically a vat of oil with some chunks of chicken and a layer of cheese on top. My husband got a medium rare whiskey cheeseburger, which as a hard burnt puck with no sauce on it. My "pink vodka" pasta had red marinara sauce that tasted like it came out of a Chef Boyarde can. The place was very accommodating to fit us into a quieter space because the bar and the main dinner space is very noisy as folks are watching a ballgame. The food is reasonably priced and delicious. Living in Rehoboth I was very excited when I heard of a new restaurant opening. To celebrate my daughter's birthday, my husband and I took her to dinner. Our reservation was for 6 pm and we were placed near the bar. The restaurant was pretty busy particularly the bar area. We ordered appetizers which did come out quickly along with my daughter's kids meal. We practically had to yell at our waitress for her to hear us.. even after the restaurant died down. My husband and I placed our dinner order and my husband wanted to try two different entrees (which isn't uncommon) but the look the waitress gave and her unnecessary comment regarding that being a lot of food, not sure why she cares if it ups the bill for her and makes the restaurant more money to boot. I tried asking if one of three sides of fries for our entrees could be made without pepper as they heavily seasoned the fries with the kids meals (which really what kid wants peppered fries that could be perceived as "spicy). Well again.. she couldn't hear me and ultimately I told her to forget it. We proceeded to sit there for 30+ minutes and finally our waitress asks if we had not yet got our food which we had not. Well.. she never put it in. She was writing everything in a note pad (which showed her age as other waitstaff used electronic devices to input their tables orders.) We had to tell her our order and she went to check on it. She comes back 10+ minutes later to take blame while awkwardly laughing. While my 5 year olds patience was already gone. Never were promoted if we wanted additional drinks despite them being empty. Even after telling our order for a second time, she still forgot the second entree my husband had ordered. I got the burger which was pretty good. My husband got the short rib grilled cheese which my husband said had no flavor and I thought the beef left a funky aftertaste. I asked for the check so we could get out of there and even that took an eternity. I was baffled that even after receiving the check and having it on the corner of the table for her to run the card she STILL walked by without taking it. Disappointing that poor service will make or break a restaurant experience and this is no different. We won't be returning. read more

Food was good. Service was prompt. It's very nice inside. On the whole I would recommend it. Its biggest issue is the drinking water in Rehoboth. It has a sulfur smell and is metallic. They should offer bottled. The mixed drinks however were great. read more

The service was good, considering the waitress seemed to be relatively new. The ambiance was nice. A little loud at times, but it is a tavern. We were only offered tap water, and that tasted and smelled metallic , even in the ice cubes. I had a campfire whiskey. Is was good at first, but not so good after the ice melted. My wife had a cheeseburger and I had the short rib grilled cheese. Both looked delicious, but lacked flavor. They didn't taste bad, but they didn't have much flavor. For the price, we won't be going back very soon. read more

What a fantastic new place! Good selection of beer and cocktails and delicious food in a stylish yet rustic atmosphere. We got calamari, a Caesar salad, and a margarita pizza. I don't know how all these people thought the food was good unless you don't know good food. I had the linguine and clams which also had chorizo in their version. I first had a clam which wasn't bad but then had a mouthful of the linguine in the supposedly white wine and garlic broth. I thought I was crazy as I immediately knew the taste, and it was not white wine and garlic. It was literally Campbell's chicken noodle soup!! Also, not really linguine but the actual same noodles in Campbell's. And the chorizo was so dried out like a shoe. I've had some not so great meals here and there but we literally laughed all the way home that they put clams and chorizo in Campbell's chicken noodle soup. There is no denying that taste. read more

Thought we'd try this one out since they were pretty new. Great ambiance for the overall look. We went on a Saturday so it was busy. And we were expecting a wait. We sat down and got a pitcher of water and then the waitress came over about 10 minutes later for the drink order. We decided to also order the food at the same time. She came back with a beer and then we waited and waited and waited. We had placed an appetizer order for truffle fries and those didn't come out. We actually sat with our drinks and nothing to eat for about 45 minutes. The table behind us sat and the waitress ordered their drinks. After walking by she stopped and said "let me check on your order" I said " we got a salad, sandwich and fries. How does that take an hour?" She came over with all the food about 5 minutes later. And the fries were cold. I called the runner over and she said they were all sitting in the window together. So appetizer and dinners together. So either the expediter in the kitchen sat looking at food for about 20 minutes or the waitress forgot to place our order. Either way it was a poor first try, for a restaurant that looks really nice. If I'm the owner I'm focusing on management and operations of the food/kitchen. There was a breakdown somewhere . read more

Our first visit here was on a very busy Friday night recently, and our party of 5 was seated promptly with our 6:30 reservation. This new(ish) Rehoboth restaurant is very pleasant inside & out, with a huge square bar anchoring the center space, dining tables on the surround, and a large, inviting patio offering outdoor service on the perimeter. Our server, Laurie, was very attentive & pleasant. Great start given some of the negative reviews on this site. The menu is not vast or terribly innovative, but there are daily specials and likely 'something for everyone'. We shared 3 appetizers, the best of which was the fried mozzarella. Our main orders ranged from pizza, to salad, to hearty sandwiches - all of which were served at the same time and correct temps. The sweet & spicy pizza was unnecessarily too spicy, but the other mains were good. We're thrilled to have a new dining option in Rehoboth and hope the earlier reviews on this site don't dissuade others from trying Campfire. Our experience was very good. read more

First time visiting for lunch. I have to say the waitress was very attentive and pleasant. The place was nice, different. As far as the food, it was ok, nothing special. Not a very extensive menu. A friend and I had ordered 2 Caesar salads which did not come with croutons. We asked if we could get some croutons and the waitress said she would check. We both felt that was very odd. She came back and said they were not ready yet, they were still in the oven..... still odd. They had just opened for lunch, why not prepared? We finally did receive them and they were tasteless, no seasoning at all, almost like toasted hot dog buns. We did order wings, truffle fries and the calamari. The calamari was good, and the wings were pretty good. The truffle fries were a disappointment. We did feel the prices were decent for what it was. Definitely not worth the wait! Went in last night and the place was busy. Met by the hostess who said there was a wait. We agreed to wait and she took our name. Watched another couple come in and say hello to her, said they decided last minute to come in, the. asking if there was availability and she said "I'll get you in don't worry". Then we watched her seat then before us. Went up to hostess and asked if she forgot us, she said no why. The. I said they got seated before us without a reservation. She said they are friends with the owners. So lo and behold yet another couple came in and SAME thing happened. Called her out on it and she again said they were friends to with the owners. So we finally got seated and the food was NOT good at all. Was such a disappointment. Needless to say we will NOT return. read more

We have been to the restaurant a few times. Very good bar. Went on Sunday evening of Memorial Day weekend and won't be going back anytime soon. Ordered drinks and and appetizer. We received them in a timely manner. We then ordered dinner at 7:10 at 8:00 we asked when we might be getting our food and were told very soon. Asked again at 8:25 and were told that they weren't sure because the kitchen wouldn't tell them. At 8:45 we told the bartender to cancel our order. We waited an 1:45 minutes and weren't given anything off our bill. Terrible move by the management. read more

We sat at the bar and the service was excellent. The bacon appetizer was horrible. We were served a few chunks of complete fat for $15.
