    Chicken aqua limone

After many years in business, Pazzo still proves they know how to create a nice ambiance and serve excellent meals. We started with a casear salad (with anchovies, of course) and the seared peppercorn tuna (with arugula and a nice citrus jus). For entrees, we had the rigatoni with vodka braised beef and calabrian chiles (one of my favorite dishes), and tried the chicken aqua limone for the first time. It had so many great things going on with fresh citrus, cherry peppers, and a side of olive oil whipped potatoes. The dish was absolutely outstanding and memorable (and, at $29, one of the least expensive entrees on the nemu). Once again, even under new ownership, Pazzo proves to be a top restaurant in Old Naples.

Espresso Martini with a single espresso back

I have noticed a great improvement since my last review. I was SO fortunate to sit at the bar where Sarah was tending bar! Her ALWAYS positive attitude and infectious smile draws me to her bar EVERY TIME I come here. Tonight, I started with the chop salad. It is smaller than it use to be, and in MY opinion, there was too much dressing which overpowers the fresh ingredients in the salad. My main course was the parmesan encrusted 7oz filet with their crispy potatoes. I requested medium rare but it came out medium to medium well. I didn't make a big thing of it at the time, but did give constructive opinion to Amanda strictly for training purposes. My Dessert here was my high point as Sarah makes the BEST Espresso Martini in town. It already has a shot of FRESH espresso but I added an additional single espresso because I can never have enough espresso If the food matched my 5 star service, I think my entire experience would have been 5 stars.... still better than my last 3 star experience

Terrific dinner at Pazzo! We love the special summer dinner deal: 2 courses and a glass of wine for 35$. We go every year! And you can get tiramisu and cannoli for 5$. We had mussels, snapper, seared salmon and tiramisu. I also ordered my absolutely favorite desert from the main menu - Lazanetta.

Great little Italian spot on 5th Ave. got to eat outside. The bread with ricotta and truffles was amazing ( and $6!). We got Tagliotini Rigatoni. Both were excellent. The tagliotkni had an unexpected sweet sauce and sausage. The rigatoni had beef and was yummy. Nice wine list too. Too stuffed for dessert but I'm sure it's great.

Came here with a group of 8 for a birthday. Our server went above and beyond to make the evening special; she was attentive, kind and truly thoughtful. A few of the standouts were the caprese salad - the cheese has an incredible melt in your mouth texture, and the butternut squash ravioli - the sweetness of the squash with the tanginess of the sauce created a perfectly balanced tasty dish. Highly recommend for a special night out!

An overall enjoyable evening, with a few tweaks it would be a five star review. We were seated promptly, and John our server took our drink order. I enjoyed my "Joey lollipops" spicy margarita. We had some great garlic bread that had the consistency of focaccia and was super yummy. Entrees were a little more uneven. I enjoyed the veal parm special and shared it with others (it was sizeable!) and included a side of spaghetti. Hubby had the crab spacatelli and it was a little rich and too sweet to his liking. My Aunt tried a new entree server recommended (torodelli?) and it was so spicy she had to send it back. It was stuffed tortellini with a red sauce, sausage and a large meatball in middle. The meatball and sausage weren't the culprits, it was the red sauce and seemed to have gotten confused with another dish, as the menu description did not call out any spiciness. I love spicy and tried it and couldn't tolerate it either - reminded me of that red pepper sauce and burned my mouth. Unfortunately, it took quite awhile for her to get a replacement dish with a different sauce. Enjoyed our favorite Cabernet (Faust) and wine list had lots of great options at various price points. Our first time in Naples and we would return. The dining room was packed and nice vibe, however, EXTREMELY loud and hard to carry on a conversation.

We sat at 8:15 p.m. and wanted to order appetizers, but server said that we HAD to order appetizers and main course together. We ordered 4 appetizers: 2 types of bread, burrata, and calamari. 10 minutes later the main course arrived. We were not done with our appetizers. That was issue #1. Issue #2: my husband ordered his steak medium rare, and it came as rare. He had to send it back twice. Manager came to the table and was very nice and apologetic. She offered to give us free dessert, but we refused it. We were not complaining because we wanted something free, we just wanted our meal to be as we requested. I want to emphasize how nice the manager was, she really tried to make things right. I also want to make it clear that we were very polite and calm when we complained. Issue #3 was one of my drinks. I ordered a lemon drop with sugar on the rim, and as you can see on the picture there was no sugar, and the drink itself was terrible. I did not complain because we didn't want to have to talk to the nice manager again, but the whole drink stayed on the table when we left. Server never asked what happened. That was another issue... Our server didn't care to really take care of us. From the beginning she knew that we weren't pleased that we had to order everything at once, but didn't care. Let me make it very clear that I understand that servers want to flip tables as quickly as possible, but when we sat down at 8:15 p.m. the restaurant was only half full, and they close at 10 p.m. So it's not like she needed to flip our table quickly because there would be no other table once we got up, we only had about 2 hours to eat and leave since they close at 10. We were done around 9:45 p.m. and by then there was only a few tables left. So, no... we didn't want to stay for a long period of time, we just wanted to enjoy our appetizers without feeling rushed. Manager did explain that they were supposed to wait 10 minutes between appetizers and main course, but 10 minutes is not enough especially if the table orders 4 appetizers. I would totally understand them making us ordering everything IF we were seated at 5, 6, or 7 p.m., but after 8p.m there's no need to rush customers anymore. At the end, we heard our server and another young female server talking bad about another table. I'm giving 2 starts because despite my pasta being very basic, my husband's steak being sent back twice, our friends said that their food was good. One of their plates was a Branzino and my friend said it was delicious.

    Great menu.
    Mike S.

The food was as good and delectable as we have experienced in the past. The service on this occasion, however, was very slow. Our waiter was super friendly, but he was in the weeds the entire night and seemed to have way too many tables. Our dining experience lasted nearly 2 hours, with about 30 minutes between each course.

A Hidden Gem in Downtown Naples -- Don't Sleep on This Place!…read more I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was buzzing -- the outside patio was at full capacity. I asked for a seat at the bar, and even though space is very limited, the staff went above and beyond to find me one. That kind of effort on a packed afternoon says a lot about this team. The bartender was phenomenal -- attentive, warm, and somehow managed to make every single person at that busy bar feel like they were the only guest in the restaurant. The whole staff carried that same energy. They were also wonderfully descriptive about the daily specials and menu offerings, which made ordering a pleasure rather than a guessing game. I decided to try the crab cake, and I'm so glad I did. I grew up on the East Coast eating crab, and I've had my fair share -- I've long held that Phillips in Maryland made the gold standard. I am happy to report that Captain & Crew has dethroned them in my book. This crab cake was pure lump crab meat, not overpowered by fillers or seasoning. You could actually taste the crab. The accompaniments they served alongside it elevated the whole dish even further. Thoroughly impressed. The wine pairings were equally well-curated. I took the staff's recommendations and they absolutely nailed it. A heads-up for first-timers: parking is the one small challenge. There's no convenient lot right there, so you may need to use a parking garage and walk over. Honestly? Embrace it. If you're already in Downtown Naples, it's a beautiful stroll that perfectly sets the mood before you arrive. Captain & Crew is a true hidden gem. Many people come for the fresh seafood market, but don't overlook the restaurant side -- it's absolutely worth your time. Highly recommend.

Delicious! We thought we were done, but our server informed us of the excellent Key Lime pie. We had room to share one slice, and we are so happy we did! It was excellent. I still love Swan River's seafood market and genuinely want the restaurant to be just as memorable. The quality is there, I think a few thoughtful touches would make a big difference.

First time here and sadly, we won't be returning. Restaurant was packed with customers seated so…read moreclosely to each other. Wait staff kept bumping into me and my purse. Definitely not for those with claustrophobia!! We were initially told they don't take reservations, yet several parties arrived claiming they had reservations. We also requested indoor seating, but despite plenty of empty tables inside, the owner insisted we wait for outdoor seating because "more people were coming." Meanwhile, regulars appeared to receive preferential treatment and were seated ahead of others. As for the food, the fried calamari, shrimp, scallops, and smelt were the highlights. All crispy, fresh, and very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the marinara sauce tasted watered down, and while both pasta dishes were cooked perfectly al dente, they lacked seasoning and flavor overall. Bar service limited to beer and wine. Disappointing experience due to the inconsistent service and uneven dining experience.

A little bit of Naples, Italy in Naples, Florida!…read more Parking: we went at 3pm which was in between meal time so parking was easy. We got a spot right in front of the restaurant on 5th Avenue Drinks: it was piping hot outside so we just had water. However they seem to have a pretty extensive wine list!! Food: we had Penne alla Norma and lasagna. Both were great. Actually, the Penne was great because it was in a light tomato sauce that was perfect for a super hot day. Service: we had Derek as our server. Seems like much of the staff are folks from Italy. We exchanged Italy stories with him. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and funny! Atmosphere/vibe: it was pretty empty when we went at 3pm but that was perfect for us. The only downside was when we walked inside to use the restroom. The inside part of the restaurant smells kind of gross, which is concerning. The bathroom smelled better than the restaurant! Pet friendly: yes, very pet friendly in the outdoors. We sat under a covered patio and they welcomed our puppy with open arms! Though they didn't offer him any water. Age group: we saw mainly adults but I'm certain this places sees all ages of customers. Bathroom: clean Return:yes!
