Very disappointing experience at Camping World Fresno. We were serious buyers, but our salesperson knew surprisingly little about the RV. He didn't know how to check the mileage or how to operate the slide-out. When we asked for a test drive, we were told we first had to agree on a purchase price and sign a paper stating what we would pay if the test drive went well. We weren't comfortable committing to a price before even being allowed to drive the RV. We left and will purchase elsewhere. read more

Camping World Fresno Service Experience Review I brought my 2023 Alliance fifth-wheel trailer to the Camping World store in Fresno, CA on November 12, 2025, with a comprehensive list of warranty items that needed to be repaired. Unfortunately, what followed was nearly five months of delays, poor communication, and incomplete repairs. I heard nothing from the service department until I personally went to the store on January 6, 2026. The Fresno Camping World Service Manager (Joseph) told me I needed to wait about 15 minutes because he wanted to have a staff meeting and they would help me when they were done. How unprofessional! I was then informed that nothing had been done to my trailer and that I would be assigned a new service advisor because they had fired the first one. I reviewed the entire list of repairs along with the email from Alliance with the new advisor. The Service Manager assured me that I would receive weekly calls with updates on the progress of my trailer. Those weekly updates never happened. I eventually returned to the store in February and discovered that still nothing had been repaired. I heard nothing further and returned again at the beginning of March, only to find that the work still had not been completed. I had finally had enough. The following week, I asked to speak with the Fresno Camping World Store Manager. I met with both the Store Manager and the Service Manager, and we agreed that all of the items on my repair list would be addressed and that the trailer would be ready by the end of the week. I picked up the trailer as promised, but unfortunately, not everything had been repaired. Even worse, the trailer had additional problems that were not present when I originally dropped it off nearly five months earlier. The tech and I took pictures for documentation and I brought this to the attention of the service department. I was told I would need to bring it back another time so they could diagnose the issues. The day after I picked up the trailer, I received a voicemail from the Fresno Camping World Service Manager telling me that we would "part as friends but he never wanted to work on my trailer again". I found this extremely unprofessional and unacceptable, especially after the amount of time I had already spent trying to get the original repairs completed. I attempted to contact Camping World's Corporate Office to file a complaint and on June 22, 2026 I reached a live person. I asked to speak with a manager but was told by the person on the other end of the line (Julie) that my issue did not warrant that escalation. I called the Camping World corporate office again on June 24, 2026 and finally received a call from the Regional Manager of the Fresno Camping store (Kelcey), who told me she would contact the store and speak with the staff. The service department contacted me about another appointment, but I was told they would only address the items that were still outstanding from my original list. They would not address the new problems that occurred while the trailer was in their care; I was told I would have to bring the trailer back at another time for those issues. I contacted the Regional Service Manager again to explain the situation and never received a response. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. The lack of communication, the repeated delays, the incomplete repairs, the additional problems created while my trailer was in their possession, and the unwillingness to take responsibility for those problems are unacceptable. I will never take my trailer to Camping World again. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone needing RV repairs find a more reputable and dependable business. Nearly five months after bringing my trailer in, I was left with unresolved repairs, additional problems, and a complete loss of confidence in Camping World's service department. read more

Can I give 0 starts ? They will mislead you to buy coverage you don't want, be carefull ! In May 2026, my husband and I purchased a travel trailer from Camping World in Fresno, California. During the finance process, we were offered three optional protection plans. We agreed to purchase only one of them. However, the finance representative, Marcus Mele, presented paperwork for all three plans to be signed. Believing the documents reflected what had been explained to us, we signed them. We later discovered that we had been enrolled in three different protection plans, despite only agreeing to one. When I contacted Camping World to cancel the unwanted plans, I was informed that one of them could not be canceled. I requested cancellation of the other two plans immediately. It has now been more than 30 days since my cancellation request. I have not received the refunds, any status update, or any meaningful communication despite multiple follow-up attempts. I also spoke with the General Manager, Carson, at the Fresno location. Instead of investigating my concerns, he dismissed my account and defended his employee without addressing the facts or helping resolve the issue. read more

We recently sold our 5th wheel and I needed to get the 5th wheel hitch removed from the bed of my truck. So I called Camping World and spoke with Joseph in the Service department and he said they could help me with that, so I made the appointment. When I arrived for my appointment Jason was my service advisor and he was very helpful and friendly. He asked if I wanted them to dispose of the hitch and I said no, I was going to they and sale it. It didn't take long for them to finish the work. And I was charged what I was quoted. When I got home I thought I was going to be able the drag the hitch off the back of the truck and on to a cart. No way, it was way too heavy. So the next day I called Jason back to see if the offer still stands and it did. Jason's team removed the hitch from bed and I was very happy to be done with it. Total failure and horrible service all around. Where did the saga begin? 2 weeks ago, when my CO alarm started beeping an end of life alert in my toyhauler. I ordered a Safe-T-Alert alarm that was supposed to be a direct replacement from the Camping World website. After being charged a whopping $27 for shipping, the product arrived later than anticipated and was the wrong product! Had I known the product was being shipped from Valencia, I'd have just drove there and got it myself! Upon coming into the Camping World Fresno location to return the part, I felt very unwelcomed from the very get-go. The man working the parts counter was very stand-off-ish and not very willing to help me. He grilled me multiple times as to whether this was the right product (It wasn't), and was extremely hesitant to give me a refund to begin with! The parts employee stated I would NOT be refunded for shipping, and that a paper check will arrive within a week (It's been a week, it has not arrived). Upon leaving the parts counter, I did decide to look at a few different RVs, wanting to have a second RV for weekend trips. Rather than a salesman helping me (When I found one), he simply stated "Yeah, a few over there are unlocked." Yes, very helpful. I was literally looking to buy that day potentially - you think you'd want to show me some? When I left the dealership, I had inadvertently drove near the service area. Two geriatric age male employees (Unknown names or department) sped up to me in their golf cart, and begun yelling at me. I told him I thought this was an exit and saw NO SIGNS indicating that this is an employee area - and was literally turning around as he flew up to me. All in all, what a sham! I'm out over $100 on the carbon monoxide alarm, received shitty service from not only the parts counter, but 2 other employees, and overpaid considering I found the same part at a different dealer for less. AVOID. Matter of fact, I'll be going to a dealer I know in Marana AZ to buy that second trailer. Maybe these salesmen should realize RV owners are very mobile people by default. We can enjoy the variety of picking up anywhere in the nation. read more

We visited Camping World in Fresno because my husband and I are seriously considering purchasing an RV. My brother was with us as we looked at the inventory. A salesperson named Darren asked us a few basic questions, then we continued looking around on our own. After not finding anything that suited us, we went inside the store to browse. As we were leaving, Darren said to us in front of the two other sales reps "Maybe I can offer you fentanyl instead." We were shocked and appalled. Keep in mind -- we are Latin Americans. Was this meant to be a racist remark? Did he assume we didn't have the money? Was it some kind of "joke"? Regardless, it was unprofessional, offensive, and entirely uncalled for. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially from someone representing a business. If this is how potential customers are spoken about behind their backs, I'd strongly caution others against visiting this location. Do not go to camping world !Regretfully, I bought a 2024 motorhome from them, left with it and less than 50 miles down the freeway lost the right rear wheel cover and could not retrieve it. Went back to camping world they charged me $155 to install another one within the next 50 miles on freeway 99 the new one installed was also lost and could not be retrieved. They gave me another wheel cover, but refused to install it They would take no responsibility for this defect. They said they don't do that kind of repair and to take it to the Ford truck dealer where I found there was no warranty and it was on a customer pay ticket. This was my experience within 100 miles of driving my RV that I just purchased from camping world. Anyone looking for a newer used RV should pass them by and don't even consider buying an RV from them. The Fresno California location SUCKS !!!!!! Before purchase they were all friendly and helpful. After purchase on July 7, 2025 it became a totally different story. Items that were found inferior or damaged on walk through have never replaced even after numerous calls and no calls returned. From Service Manager Joe, Gabriel apparently person in charge of New RV challenges to Salesperson Ed Wilson I received NOTHING but LIPS SERVICE from the very start of my situations. Every time I've called ALL individuals are NOT AVAILABLE ....... KEPT getting transferred from one to the other. Recommend that if you find something wrong have them fix it before it's picked up. Promises NEVER get fulfilled and the $2500 Get RV Ready charge is a SCAM after receiving RV no detailing or cleaning done as promised ........ never got the detailing as promised and never was told gray tank had 2 handles. One that was hidden under foam insulation. Please BEWARE OF THIS FRESNO LOCATION !!!!!! I do care and have enjoyed my New 2024 Highland Ridge 252RB Range Lite travel trailer. But honestly don't and I stress don't deal with the Fresno location. Would give zero/negative stars if possible. Brought my RV in on 7/10 to get awning repaired. After 6 weeks and a dozen phone calls, the service advisor told me that the work was complete. I went all the way to the dealer and found that they had not even ordered the parts or started the work. I took it home so they would have an opportunity to order the parts and brought it back two weeks later. On 9/14, more than three months after initial drop off, the parts were still not ordered. They claimed to have replaced a control module which they charged me $400 for which was not broken as far as I can tell. I picked the rig up today, still not fixed, but I do not trust Camping World of Fresno to perform any service on any vehicle. Take your business elsewhere. Based on other reviews CW Fresno seems like an actual criminal enterprise. Update 10/28: I ordered the part and fixed it myself in less than one hour. If you think that Camping World is going to save you time over doing your own repair, think again! read more

The service department and manager is horrific. They lie, they keep your rig for extended periods of time with no work being done and allow batteries to die. When they do return your rig the problem is not resolved, your rig is not reassembled correctly with loose parts scattered throughout. Then you are rescheduled 2 to 3 months later and left with a useless rig. Staff does not know how to work on class B rigs so don't even try to bring your rig here. They will not call manufacturers for assistance. They tell you recall is completed when it is not ( verified by another RV repair shop). Best of all when they are tired of dealing with you and can't manage to fix the problems they try to antagonize you so they have an excuse to not provide you with service. This all experienced over a years period of time with our rig being taken in at least 6 times for same issues. Mind you this is a 160 mile round trip with 2 vehicles each visit. This was Winnebago's recall repair facility so there were no other choices to take our rig for recall and warranty work. Over a year later with extensive conversations with Winnebago management, camping world management the problem was reassigned to another facility 300 miles away where the problems were fixed within 2.5 days. And the recall work that camping world said they completed had in fact not been completed putting 80+ year old seniors at risk for serious injuries or worse by transporting a faulty rig over a 1000 miles for repairs on National recalls. Absolutely the worst experience with a business that we have ever had to deal with. The rating is a 1 only because you aren't given a lower choice. I will never deal with Camping World again Joseph Curland is the service manager who would not even communicate with us and would send over someone else to deal with us. read more

Fresno Camping world is the worse every !!! i dropped off my trailer 01/13, it is now 02/13,, hello 5 weeks, count them !!! work still not done. every time i call i get an excuse about work not finished. this is horse crap,, i just bought this trailer, sorry i bought a used one. thing was i paid for the pre-inspection for this trailer, but when we took it out for our first trip it had issues. they screwed me by not checking if all these things on the trailer. we had to find out on our first outing. now i paid thousands for the warranty and still not most of this work is still not done !!! they were supposed to go thru the entire trailer, i even found personal belongings from previous owner in the trailer, so they didnt even go thru it or clean it out. i keep hearing about parts, then warranty to approve, then parts, which is it ??? this place is a joke,, i read some bad reviews but gave them some credit that maybe this place wasnt so bad, well i was WRONG !!!!!!!!!!!! i will never buy from here again. and if i am lucky i can go to court and see what i can get accomplished out of this entire mess of lies. When we brought in our RV after our first major camping trip in our new RV, we had a leak in our black tank, no hot water in the motorhome to shower, and a plug outlet in the kitchen area didn't work unless we rebooted the panel. When we got it back and were preparing for our trip, the toilet wasn't connected and water leaked in the motorhome, our hose was missing and had to buy one and the campsite we were staying at, all our water valves under the motorhome was left open, so when we tried to fill our tank with fresh water, it leaked out on the street. The motorhome was also returned to use dirty, and they never fixed the plug. Additionally, they never communicated anything to us. We had to call for updates. No one ever called us saying the service was completed. The second time - we brought it in for the awning to be fixed and again to fix our outlet. The awning was repaired, and we were told the Jayco declined our warranty work for the outlet that was not working when we bought it stating that "if you overload it, the circuit will blow". I took them into the motorhome and showed them the issue, and they said to take the motorhome home, they would order the part and would call us so we can bring it in and that we could just wait for it so we could take it back home. No part was ever ordered and no one followed up with us because, again, we had to do the follow-up. No one has responded to our e-mails or calls. We also had to call for updates on when the motorhome would be done. Sooooo very disappointed. read more

So, I've made it to corporate and we just continue to go round and round. I ask why a new RV should need to come in for service. They tell me (this is almost too hilarious if it wasn't so sad), well, it became used when you bought it. Basically, they want to justify me getting a brand new coach that has all these problems by saying that once I took it it was no longer new. The gaslighting just continues. I've now requested the PDI, certificate of the inspector who did the PDI and my trip miles over 4 times. And I have this all in writing, as well. The RV remains in storage, unusable. And I remain wary of bringing it to Camping World for "service" it shouldn't need if they cannot even provide me basic documentation that is supposed to come with the purchase. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. All they do is try to cover their tracks, lie, condescend and make excuses. This is a WHOLE COMPANY problem. They also treat their employees like trash, too. They failed to sell it (doubt they even tried), neglected to tell me there was a new lead in the consignment department and I received no updates throughout the 3 months. When I went to pick it up, the brand-new nitrogen-filled tires were deflated, the batteries were completely shot (they left every single switch on), the trailer was filthy and the screen door was busted. Oh... and they stole my rhino roof kayak racks... I asked them where they were and was told "No idea, they're not here." Such negligence and disrespect from this camping world. Camping World sold my mentally disabled son a trailer. My son is 20 and it is very clear when having a conversation with him that he has severe ADD, ADHD and a low IQ. He speaks slowly and in no way shape or form understood what he was signing. They made no effort to explain anything to him, nor check any references. They took advantage of a mentally disabled kid, just to make a sale. If I had known about this, I could have stopped it. We are hiring a disabled rights attorney and having a disabled rights advocate work with us, his psychiatrist and psychologist to take care of this. They could very easily cancel this, and they refuse to. I am very saddened by the lack of integrity of these people. All just to make a sale! read more

I bought my Keystone Outback 342CG in another state and had a few warranty issues. Camping world was my area service center so I called and made an appointment. Jose was my contact throughout the entire process (however) everyone from the front desk to the guys out in the yard treated me like royalty. Jose kept me updated on a regular basis and I appreciated that. They took great care of all the issues I had, just a few little things here and there, with awesomeness. I really appreciate the quality of customer service I received here. I would highly recommend Camping World to anyone who needs service, trade in or even purchasing a new unit. If I could give zero stars I would. We bought a trailer here to travel across the US due to us moving. We bought one off the lot, brand new (keep in mind). We knew it was gonna have it quirks and problems due to such a long drive. Well, it's probably the worst situation ever. Our shower leaked in more than one way, the pipes were cross threaded and the shower pan sat at a terrible angle which floods the side of the shower each time. This fix took Camping World 1 month about 2 months after having it, and it still leaks (So we spent money out of pocket to fix it ourselves) . Then our slide cable is frayed and now we can't open the slide due to it intertwining with the other cables. Something as retailers who more than likely knew this was happening before we purchased it should have addressed. Our fridge doesn't work, it won't even have electricity come to it and our black tank is broken. Moral of the story: it you want a trailer, don't get one and buy a tent instead. I know a lot of things are out of some peoples control but damn at least have a standard for craftsmanship and take some accountability. read more

Don't EVER do business here!!! We purchased a 5th wheel in February and didn't see it for 2 1/2 months because of warranty work that needed to be done.... that the sales guy Geoff said was already done!! Bianca didn't put in the order with the manufacturer for 2 1/2 weeks which significantly delayed the repairs. General customer service is a joke, they will say whatever you want to hear to simply scam you into buying a trailer! Sales manager Carson (I think that was his name) is rude and condescending when explaining the paperwork. In a recent inspection of my trailer, there is BAILING WIRE holding a pin in that attaches the slide rail. How is this OK?! It didn't come from the factory like this!!! Camping World Fresno had to have done this "repair" and didn't handle it correctly. FInally, the store manger was able to help us get our trailer 2 1/2 months later.... after we paid two monthly payments and didn't have the trailer. DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!!!!
