Bought a used pop up not even a month ago, brought it home and it sat for a few weeks. Popped it up to pack for camping trip and everything inside was soaking wet. When I bought it they said it's as is but on your first trip if you find something wrong bring it back and we will see what we can do to fix it and make it right. I haven't even taken it on a trip so I called and spoke to the manager and he wouldn't budge, just kept saying you bought it as is. Not yeah bring it in we will find the leak and see what the repair cost will be..nothing. So much for customer loyalty. read more

I can rant for two paragraphs, but to be succinct, we waited 2 weeks for an appointment to get warrantee work done. Then, after 3 weeks taking it in, Jeff said ", Oh our tech is on vacation." Really, you only have one tech? After a month, nothing was repaired, and it was basic stuff. Let me say that bumper to bumper extended warrantees (which cost $4500) only cover the front bumper. lol. Worst customer service experience in my life. The service writer (Stephanie H.) has no clue what she's doing. Then, I got to meet the awful service manager Troy whom is a disrespectful, sarcastic, chauvinist. If you're a female, do yourself a favor and don't come here without your spouse. Or better yet, don't come here at all. They didn't do a walk through when we dropped the camper off the first time and they also didn't do a walk through when we picked it up to tell us what was wrong or explain anything. We took it home and checked everything that same night and immediately had problems with what we asked them to fix, and camping world ADDED to our problems when we found our toilet was broke. Took it back and still didn't do a walk through, the service manager Troy denied anything being wrong even though there obviously was because we have photographs and videos of the said problems, and they still charged us. Paid for them to do a complete dewinterization and it wasn't done properly. Toilet was left unhooked and sprayed water everywhere. Which we also had to pay $120, and it wasn't done right. When I asked to speak the GM he never showed up. Stephanie sent for him and Troy and instead a different "service manager" showed up by the name of James. Not to mention they claimed they mixed up work orders so who knows what got done on my trailer and someone else's. This place is worthless, the least bit of helpful, offers no customer service whatsoever, lacks attention to detail or attention to anything. Troy is demeaning, condescending and a complete prick, he has no knowledge of management and is far from qualified to do his job. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! read more

WORST CAMPER COMPANY EVER!!!!! We were sold a used travel trailer which had a water leak at purchase. This was not disclosed at time of sale with maintenance dept reporting everything cleared on inspection. We have been dealing with customer service for almost a year to get this fixed. Initially, no one would call us back to schedule repair or update us on the repair process once it was at the shop. We finally drove to the business and were told it was ready for pick-up. Last repair was $300 and the water leak was worse than before (this was after sitting on their lot for two months). We were told they didn't turn on the water pressure to check the repairs!! URGH!!!! Now they're saying it's an additional $600 to fix it since they decided to turn on the pressure and determine the cause of the leak. Needless to say, we have missed numerous camping trips because of this issue and no one at the business seems to care!! TONS of disappointment, frustration, and lost memories thanks to this incompetent customer service. Feel like we're hitting our heads against a brick wall... Save yourself and don't step foot on any Camping World property. read more

We took our camper to the service department right after we bought it because of several issues. One problem was the rear axle bowing and we were told it was normal. They had our camper all summer and we couldn't get them to respond. We finally got it back and weren't able to go camping because it was too late. We then have tried to get someone in the service department to respond the past few years and no one would call us back. We finally had someone call us and they now have it again. We were told that we would get up dates every week and have only received one after we called and complained about not hearing anything. Since that email on 6/6 we have left 3 messages for the service manager and he apparently doesn't know how to pick up a phone. This place is absolutely TERRIBLE don't buy any thing from them unless you plan to have it serviced somewhere else. read more

In October, 2012 we scheduled some repair work on our motor home while traveling through the area as the business was changing from K&C RV to Camping World. Most all of the repair/service was completed satisfactory. However, one of the repairs was to replace 2 plastic rivets on the slide mechanism cover. Instead of replacing the 2 rivets with rivets, they replaced all 13 rivets with metal screws. The screw heads stuck up higher than the rivets. As a result of the height of the screw heads and that some of them backed out, the vertical seal was damaged. We also had them service/repair our Hydro-Hot. In addition to the seal damage, our Hydro-hot started leaking fuel within four months of the repair/service they had done on the unit. We contacted them by email to arrange for repairs under their year warranty. It was difficult to get them to continue communication. We had to contact the General Manager to get connected with another employee after the employee we had been communicating with stopped communicating. However, we were able to get them photos of the damage and arrange an appointment about 6 to 8 weeks in advance of our arrival in April 2013. They estimated the repairs would take 2 days. We arrived a day early as our refrigerator had experienced a problem with their advanced knowledge and approval. When we arrived, we learned they had not ordered the replacement parts for the seal damage. During our three day stay, they learned the replacement parts would take 7 to 10 days to arrive. We didn't have the time to wait for those parts so we would alter our future travel plans and return for them to make the repairs to the slide seal & mechanism cover. They completed the other work at closing time on Friday. They were going to send us a completed work order once they had finalized it. Within 30 minutes of them completing the work on the Hydro-Hot and departing for the weekend, the Hydro-Hot started leaking fuel again. As we didn't have the time to wait until Monday for them to look at the Hydro-Hot, we departed to meet our schedule and sent them an email about the problem. They never responded. We found another option to get the Hydro-Hot repaired. In order to get type of response from them, we had to contact the General Manager. The General Manager would refer us back to the same employee who failed to communicate with us. We eventually asked for them to compensate us for the damaged slide seal & mechanism cover since we no longer had any confidence in them. They finally agreed to do that but failed to send the check until after a couple of more inquiries from us. They never addressed the Hydro-Hot issue only the seal damage. We finally received the check but never received the completed work order from April 2013. We would never return to this location for service. After our experience at another Camping World in Arizona and the response we received from Camping World's executive CEO, we would never use any Camping World location for repairs unless there was no other option. read more

Absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. Majority of phone calls are not answered; the ones that are are forwarded. NEVER EVER have I had a call returned. And if you think dealing with parts is bad, wait until you try "service". Scheduling is ill thought out and never followed up on. You will never know the status of your RV unless you physically drive there and go look for it.(remember they won't answer the phone) It won't be done. They will gladly offer to take your money for an installation IN ADVANCE but take forever to find the part you wanted installed or even longer to let you know they couldn't find it. DO NOT BUY AN RV FROM THEM!!!! THEY ARE LIARS!!!! On Saturday, 8/30 we went in to purchase an fifth wheel tow hauler from Camping World that we saw advertised at a special price. The RV was missing a few things - exterior ladder, something from the fuel tank, etc., but we were told the parts had been ordered and would be in any day now. My husband and the salesperson, JT, worked out the deal - the price and our trade in, and then we proceeded to finance. When we got into finance, the figures did not match the deal that JT had made with us. It took probably 30 - 45 minutes to get it worked out and the finance person told my husband that this has happened with JT before. JT basically lied to us about the deal he was giving us. That was lie number one. It gets better. Our walkthrough appointment was set up for Monday 9/8 at 2:00pm. We were told it had to be that far out because of those parts that had to be ordered and put in. We had mentioned more than once that we had a camping trip planned on Friday 9/12 and they didn't seem to think it would be a problem. On Thursday, 9/4 someone named Joe Lake (a sales manager) called and told us that the parts weren't going to be in and they would like to move our walk through up to Thursday 9/11. This started making us nervous, but I spent a whole day cleaning out our trailer to take it in for the trade in. On Monday, 9/8 my husband and I stopped by Camping World. We wanted to check on how things were going. We knew after waiting 30 minutes, it wasn't good. Our salesperson, JT, who during the whole process of the sale kept telling us to call his cell number - he has had it for years, if we had any problems, very quickly washed his hands of all responsibility and turned things over to the PDL manager who preps the rv's for customers. After our salesperson JT, the PDL manager and the sales manager on duty had a pow wow in the sales manager's office forever, the PDL was sent out to tell us that there is no way the toy hauler will be ready any time soon. In fact, he told us that he told everyone not to even advertise the toy hauler because of parts issues. He went over a whole list of items and says they keep ordering them and the wrong parts keep coming. He told us that everyone knew that there was no way the toy hauler would be ready - it could be weeks before it is ready and they all knew that. These people knowlingly lied to us and have ruined our last camping trip of the season! Needless to say, my husband and I are furious. So, if we hadn't stopped in on Monday, they would have waited until Thursday to tell us it wasn't ready! We have a camping trip this weekend. These people do not care about how they mess with people's lives. They do not care what it costs us to cancel trips! We will never ever buy anything from Camping World again and we are telling everyone we know how they screwed us and what big liar's they are! We walked out of there after yelling at them,(they deserved way more than that), and we demanded our deposit back, which we got. DO NOT SHOP THERE! read more

We chose not to purchase a VERY expensive, top of the line camper from this dealership because of their arrogant sales staff. When we asked if they were open to discussing the value of our trade, they emailed a scanned value sheet from a "noreply" email address. No other explanation was offered, just this scan. Then a nastygram email came a few days later from the salesperson completely closing the door on any further discussion. The tone was arrogant, condescending and did not demonstrate any genuine interest in gaining our business. There are tactful ways to negotiate, OR to simply state that you have a "no haggle" policy. I respect that, but please communicate professionally. We were treated very rudely for simply asking if there was room to negotiate the numbers. When your website has a multitude of $100k+ campers that are discounted from $30K-$40K throughout, I think it's fair to ask if there's room to play with the numbers a bit, especially that we were only about $3-4K apart in making a deal happen immediately. Apparently, business is SO GOOD at Camping World of Longmont that they don't care about maintaining rapport with potential clients or earning loyal long-term customers. We are seeking a dealership that we can work with for many years, trading in and upgrading periodically. That's a business relationship, and maybe you should VALUE that type of opportunity in a world where everything is so heavily commoditized. We are now looking to go out of state to get the camper we want, as long as NONE of our money goes to the staff at this Longmont location. Don't waste your time here! We bought a new manual tongue jack from this Camping World because ours was malfunctioning. When we got it to our RV we discovered that a part of the jack was missing. We had purchased the jack on a Saturday and the store was not open on Sunday, the day we were departing Ft. Collins. I called the next day and asked that they ship the missing part to me, to which they said they would. Of course the part never showed up at my residence. read more

I purchased a brand new Class A motor coach from K&C RV/Camping World of Longmont, CO in 2012. It has been a horrible experience from the beginning. The service department terrible. They have high employee turnover, make false claims and promises and lack any sense of urgency or customer service. If you're going to purchase a new RV or you need service for an RV, go anywhere else but here as it should be your last choice. It doesn't matter the price of the coach either and the one I purchased was for $150K. They are incapable of delivering a quality customer experience even to their best customers. read more

We bought our camper from Todd about 13 mos ago. We realized the floor plan did not work so in early 2015 we repeatedly reached out to Todd including going in person. Not only did we wait in the showroom twice as long as Todd told us would be the wait, he just did not seem interested in helping us. What a joke.....!! I called to get my RV in for routine maintenance and some small repairs. I was told there is a three week wait so I made an appt for that time. I brought it in a day early to make sure it was there first thing in the am. Well, there she sat.... for a week.... I called and was told should be in the service bay in two days. - another week passes. Called again and had no estimate for the repair or maintenance. Waited another week. Called again, "Oh, we are sorry I will get that estimate to you this afternoon and we will expedite the service." Uh huh - Another week passes.... Called again was put on hold forever - literally 20 minutes so I hung up. No one called back - and there was still no estimate. I had had enough so I went to pick up my rig. They were surprised to say the least. The fellow I had been working with, Taylor, said - I called you today and left you a message. (UNTRUE) I asked, "Do you have an estimate for me yet?"..... Guess what? - he said "No." So I guess the so called message he left was to tell me he still hadn't even looked at my RV. So he proceeds to type away saying nothing - I waited and waited some more... finally I said, "Give me my keys so I can get out of here and you can type whatever you like because certainly since nothing was done - there's no invoice!" No one behind that counter was apologetic in the slightest. Horrible customer service! Be warned - well unless you need free storage! read more

We have been researching and searching for the perfect motorhome for us for about 4-5 years. We have been in all the local shops up and down the front range. Recently we went to Camping World in Longmont for a test drive. We were assisted by Clay Rush for hours over two days while we drove and climbed all over a couple different units. He was extremely helpful. He never pressured us or pushed us to a particular unit. But was there to answer all our questions. After ultimately selecting our new Winnebago coach, Clay helped us through the sales and delivery process. This was the most pleasant sales experience the we have ever had. read more

The sales and service crew at Camping World of Longmont run a top notch shop full of welcoming and friendly folks who are eager to help you. I was a newbie to the RV world when I bought my slide-in truck camper from them last weekend but was quickly settled into my new rig and made comfortable with a great walk-thru before closing and able to talk to the install guys. I was even shuttled between the facilities on the same campus in a golf cart- they pull out all the stops and know how to treat a customer, and it's apparent that they enjoy being there themselves. Even when I started to have some engine trouble with my truck before hitting the road, a half-dozen guys walked over to help troubleshoot and get me on my way. I'm very thankful for their above-and-beyond efforts and cannot recommend them strongly enough. If I ever need to buy another camper, I'll be driving back from Dallas, TX again to go through these guys. read more

I can see why this place has bad reviews!!!! We have had NOTHING but the WORST customer service there since we bought our trailer. (I will say our salesman Rob was great and not pushy, and often times the only person who cared enough to check on anything or get other people to call me back, I had to call him with probs because no one else around there cares. When we initially bought our trailer we decided to have the work done on our tow vehicle there (adding everything needed to tow it), and firstly they didn't even have our service appointment on their calendar so they pushed back our service. When they did do it, suddenly they wanted to charge me $200 more than their quote, because something came up during installation and they needed to do something else but they never called me to approve it. With fighting, I got it taken off, but they acted like I was being ridiculous. Additionally, we have had leaks in our new trailer - now, that i normal with new little trailers, so that is not the issue. We were on a trip and had it looked at by an independent shop who supposedly sealed everything and fixed it - not so, we still got leaks. When we got toEugene, OR we took it to that Camping World (THEIR customer service was excellent, by the way) and they knew exactly what was needed and that it would all be covered under warranty. However, we couldn't stay in OR for a month while this would be completed (warranty work takes time getting approvals etc) so when we got home we took it to this store where we purchased it from. They said they understood and also said about a month. 4 days later they called us to say it was done?!??? Because they "couldn't find anything".... we said no, call this guy at the other Camping World and get the info, he knows where it was and what is needed. They said ok. Now, SIX WEEKS LATER, I get a call saying the exact same thing. THEY HAVE STILL DONE NOTHING TO MY TRAILER!!!! He even said it is IN THEIR NOTES to call the guy at the OR Camping World, but they never did it! And were calling to just have me come pick it up without any work being done!!! We already bought a bigger trailer and have been WAITING and WAITING to sell this one so we can get some money back, and they have had it all this time while we are assuming it's being fixed based on our prior conversation and NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. Visited on 3/23/15. We agreed on a price for a 2015 Jayco camper. Tony Bova was a new salesman and he was being trained by Steve Martin. They took a $500.00 deposit and a credit application. They will not return a phone call and refuse to contact us. Whenever you call they cannot connect you with a manager. All you get is voicemail and no call back. These people are a bunch of circus clowns who have no business having the Camping World name. Their paperwork says KC Campers so I am assuming they are a franchisee and not a real Camping World dealership. We previously bought a camper from Camping World in Fountain, CO in 2008 and had no problems. STAY AWAY from this dealership. They are a bunch of crooks. Tony Bova is a liar. read more

Do not wast your time! I tried to buy a newer motor home, and no one could tell me what accessories it had on it.. I literally got passed to 4 voice messages in various departments and still never a call back.. The last time I talked to the Secretary she said "I will see if I can find someone willing to help you with this" The key word being willing. I suppose that is the problem around there. This location is THE WORST! Their customer service was AWFUL. We had an appointment and when we showed up for our scheduled appointment, we were (literally) told that they didn't think they could get to our car for another couple of days (we were wanting to get it set up as a toad). They managed to squeeze us in (remember, we had an appointment), they were so rude and made their displeasure clearly known. The car wasn't ready when promised, we had to wait for 2 hours after we arrived (this was after we called and asked when it would be ready - they gave us a time and then, when we showed up after that time, the vehicle STILL wasn't ready). To top it off, some joker put Seattle Seahawks DUCT TAPE on my car - in response to a Bronco sticker I had on the window. That was the last straw. I just truly can't say enough negative things about this location. The Golden location is amazing, but this Longmont location is worse than horrible. read more

I would never buy or have an rv serviced at either this one or the one in Golden. I have owned a brand new trailer for 1.5 years I have had to have work done twice now. At both locations they held my trailer for over 3 months each time. Simple repairs but all under warranty. No communication and the same excuse where they are waiting on parts from the manufacturer. I called the manufacturer and they show documentation where the parts were not even ordered until I had pestered the service department for months. Both times the repairs look as if they were done by kids. I have had to redo repairs just so not to have to take my trailer back to either place. In both instances the trailer came back with more damage then when I left it but hell they do not care. Terrible service after the sale. Terrible lies during service. You are taking your chances with this group. Good news is I learned to not buy or service anything with this dealer after losing 6 months of use out of 18 months. Just bought a new trailer from Discount RV and am happy that I did not waste anymore money and time at Camping World. Be warned they really do not even deserve 1 star. Terrible place to shop and service, trust the many bad reviews, all these people share a common thread. Shame on you Camping World. read more

Our initial sales experience was horrible, but through a trusted recommendation we went back to try again. The second salesman was great, I was very pleased. However, since we purchased our RV, we've had nothing but issues. We've had the RV for months, still can't get plates because the DMV doesn't have record of the purchase. No one at Camping World will help resolve. We had numerous warranty issues the minute we bought the RV. We brought it into service, or should I say "lack of service" department. They are completely unhelpful. For example, they were supposed to fix an issue with the leveling jacks. When I got the RV back, they still had unresolved issues, but the jacks were supposedly fixed. I got home, they didn't work. I called, and of course could not get through to ANYONE EVER. When I finally did get a call back, "leveling jacks? I thought it was the slide out" UM WHAT?! I absolutely HATE working with this place. It's PURE torture. Save yourself and go somewhere else! read more

This really is a bad is dealership. My parents and both purchased Jayco Seneca RVs from Camping World in Longmont in 2012 and it's been a bad experience from the get go. Mind you, these are well over $100,000 units each! Our sales guy committed to having a satellite dish installed and hooked up to all TVs in our unit, well that didn't happen. When confronted about it he then back tracks and said he never committed to that and that it would have been too costly for them to do it, even after the finance guy thought it was supposed to be done. So I still had to purchase the switch box out of my own pocket to make all TVs work off satellite. Then comes the warranty issues. HORRENDOUS customer service when dealing with warranty items, but I have come to experience that most Camping Worlds are this way. Terrible communication through the entire process. In fact I have to take the time out of my schedule to drop my unit off to them for repairs and then do the follow up on it to see when I'm going to get it back. This happened at least 4 times that I can recall at the Longmont location. They kept blaming the manufacturer for the delays in repairs etc, so I finally got the manufacturer involved and they helped get my RV finished, not Camping World! Finally ended up taking my unit to Camping World in Golden and received better service, not by much but it was better. Then most recently I inquired to Camping World about selling back my unit to them as it can be tough to sell these units privately. They have pretty much ruined my experience with dealing with them and so we want to consider a 2nd home in the mountains instead. After speaking with someone about putting my unit on consignment, they insult me by throwing out some ridiculous consignment figure that no one in their mind would consider. There's no customer retention at Camping World in general, especially not this one in Longmont. They have a lot of inventory and sell a lot of units, so yes someone is bound to have a good experience, but the rest of the reviews pretty much speak for themselves. I will never buy from Camping World in Longmont ever again, not sure that I will ever buy another RV from Camping World in general again. Very disappointed. read more

Worst company that I have ever dealt with. I bought a satellite, 2 receivers and installation. Took over a week to get call back to get paid and scheduled. They told me they didn't need access codes for the direct tv receivers. I told them Directv could not activate without them. I called them at least 40 times during the process and no one owns the problem. They just transfer you to another dept., and you get their voice mail. No one will find them or go get them. For example, I called back 7 times to find out if was ready for promised pickup today and to ask again about receiver id's and access codes. Finally, a service technician called me back with the codes. When I gave them to Directv they told me they were used receivers that were showing as leased to another customer and were in collections and so they couldn't activate. I called back another 4 times and finally got a person, took 4 hours for them (and 6 more calls on my part) to get access codes for 2 more receivers. When I called Directv again, these were also used and showing as leased to other customers and so could not be activated to another person's account/use. Meanwhile, my husband is now standing at the counter to pick up the rv. Directv is shipping me overnight new receivers, so that we can go on our vacation. Meanwhile, they didn't have any receivers of their own to even test the satellite that I paid $1,300 will even work. I have to figure that out an install the receivers myself. I received a refund after messing with them for over 3 weeks, and no less than 50 calls on my part, and now who knows if will work for my trip. They don't apologize, just issue refund. NO one answers their phones, returns voice messages or calls you back. I dealt with no less than 9 people there including the main ladies that answer the phone system (they got to know me well) - you are just transferred to another dept. My husband mad at me, I am in tears, and this company still did nothing to make it any better, while leaving me with a $1,300 satellite plus an additional $1,300 in labor for something I can not even use or know if it works. We live a good hour and a half away. You should be ashamed of how your customers are treated!!!! Lazy Days has made a customer for life - you could definitely take lessons from them. Also, how can you sell used (sold as new) receivers! If this satellite does not work, will be forced to take legal action. read more
