If you plan to go to the Riverside location, please read first! We purchased a trailer from the Riverside location. March 10th, they told me that I couldn't pay, sign papers, and pick up the same day. So I payed and did the paperwork, and scheduled a pick up date for that weekend. All six of us, in the car, excited to pick up, they call and say we can't because it "wasn't ready". As an apology, they offered next day delivery. Great. Accept that it was delivered FILTHY!! (see photos) Anti-freeze everywhere, staples even on the beds (which my Autistic daughter got stuck in her foot!), and someones lunch trash in a kitchen cabinet!! As (another) apology, Bryce the Sales Manager, offered a $300 refund. SIX WEEKS and THREE ATTEMPTS with COUNTLESS TEXTS later... I finally get the check: addressed to some random name!!!! I had an extremely disappointing experience with Camping World regarding the value of the products they sell. Eight months ago, I purchased a $15,000 trailer from Camping World -- a 2025 Heartland Mallard 17RBL, which is manufactured exclusively for Camping World due to its size and configuration. Today, when I inquired about trading it in to upgrade to a larger trailer, I was offered $3,000. That represents an 80% loss in value in under a year on a trailer that has been used only four times and is in stunning, like-new condition. No damage, no excessive wear -- just normal, minimal use. What's most concerning is that this is their own exclusive product, yet Camping World essentially communicated that it is nearly worthless. That raises serious questions about how they view the quality and long-term value of what they sell to customers. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from Camping World to think carefully. If the company itself places so little value on its own exclusive inventory after only a few months, buyers should be prepared for massive depreciation and little support on the back end. The parts counter has lost the "Charm" it used to have prior to Camping World's takeover. I have been a few times and each visit has not had friendly experience. The management must not foster a good work environment. I gave two stars because they are very close to home and have had the parts I needed. I came in to see the used Class C Motorhomes. When you get to the reception desk you are asked for your license. No thanks, I'm not giving you that information just to see what you have in stock. Then you are asked for your name and your phone number. No thank you, how about just get me a sales person. The receptionist with the attitude and face full of piercings to the sales people, "Hey this guy dosen't want to sign in!" I met with a nice sales person and explained why I don't give out my information when just looking at what they have in stock. She gave me her company scripted response, which i could appreciate, but no thanks. I was shown several RV and have interest in one and appreciated her professionalism. I bought a brand new Jayco Prestige, Mercedes. From the beginning there were issues with the generator and air conditioner. Several other smaller issues, but those were the 2 main big ones We brought it in several times while on warranty, and sometimes it would get fixed, but only for a short time. We've had it less than 3 years,less than 20k miles, and now it's out of warranty. There are still issues with the air conditioner and generator. Neither one works. They are trying to tell us we need a new AC when we hardly have used this brand new one. The generator always turns off after a few minutes and they tell us that is normal. This is not what a high end RV should be like, especially brand new We will be looking to buy a new RV again soon and it will Not be here. read more

Make sure to get a 3rd party inspection when buying a used trailer. After camping world did their "inspection" I had a 3rd party inspector look at it. And there was water damage on the side and the roof. The air conditioner wasn't working, had a leak in fuel tank, the water heater and toilet. Also had 8 year old tires and none of the safety components worked (fire detector and C02 monitor).Won't be doing business with them. Lost out of the money from the inspection but saved myself from a $50,000 piece of junk. read more

This place is so bad it feels like I'm on a prank show. First off, I will give credit where credit is due. The salesman, Anthony, and the finance lady were great and made the purchase easy on their end. There are too many issues to explain, so I will only go into detail about the big one. For the small stuff, we had issues with the trailer not being ready, not set up how I asked, and nothing done in a timely manner. Now for my big issue. During the inspection, it was noted that the rearmost blinds were not installed in the trailer. The discrepancy was noted, and we both agreed that they would obtain the blinds and let me know when they come in so that they can install them. I gave it 2 weeks of hearing nothing from Camping World before I called. Once I called, it sounded like nobody had even started the process to obtain my blinds. They essentially tell me they are going to work on it. Every time I called after for the next month, they give me some bs excuse as to why they don't have them or how they are not familiar with my issues, so they gotta look into it but never do. They even go as far as telling me Genesis won't respond to them, which is potentially a lie because I called Genesis on my own, and the gentleman I spoke to sees no records of Camping World communicating with them about my issue. The last time I called, which was yesterday, the excuse was that their service advisors were at a conference, and I can't be helped till they got back. Here I am six weeks after I purchased the trailer and still no idea if I'm going to get the blinds I paid for. Guess I shouldn't have left with the trailer until that was done, but I thought this was a reputable dealer. Also, Camping World don't bother responding to this with some copy and paste bs of "sorry about your experience." JUST DO YOUR JOB, and maybe I can add a star if you do right by your customers. Got lured here by false information when we called and give them we were looking for. When we arrived the salesman said they didn't have any within the price range we had asked about over the phone. He showed us the trailer that the call center assigned us and it four thousand over the price we were looking for. We let him we weren't interested and started walking to get out, the salesman kept stating what we wanted would work over and over. I had to put my hand up and tell him to stop. When we got to the door he asked if he could get the price we wanted would we buy the trailer. I said, no. He then told us to get out of here. We spoke to the manager and he stated he would talk to the call center. The call center was the start of the problem and salesman just compounded the issue. Absolute waste of time. I spent over 5 hrs going back and forth giving them all my information about my trade in and a specific camper that I was interested in. Red flag #1 was when I told them about my trade in and even gave them the vin number and what we wanted. He then proceeded to ask all about my camper which if he would have looked up the vin it would have told him everything. And these are upgrade questions. One of the questions was how many slide outs? the salesman asked about my price range and payment option and if I wanted to stay at $800. I said $550 a month would be ideal. His response "oh well how much did you want to put down to get to that number." Even with sales tax, licensing, rolling over half of what I owed, and APR it would have been $650 tops for 15 yrs! When I informed him of my numbers his response was "well I am not the bank so let's see what they say." Then why give that number and assume it would be $800. For 15 yrs would be $144k for a $40k camper. Even if I rolled over half of my negative equity that's literally over 3 times what I should be paying. Secondly he is asking what I drove and what I was gonna tow it with. I can see why they ask that maybe for safety issues, but if I already have a camper and it is only 5 ft longer I can tow it. Finally after everything, he didn't even give me a number. They ran my credit, I know cause I got a notification, and still did t give me a number or any type of countering. He just said, "I talked to my manager and he said you should sell your camper on your own." I feel that is horrible service and not at all helpful. What happened to seeing what the bank would say? I get it, that it is the beginning of the year and they aren't in a hurry to sell, but to not even follow through is absolute garbage. At this point there is absolutely nothing they could do to earn my business. I would rather pay a little more for good service, cause if this is how they treat me before I buy a camper, what will it be like when I am locked into a contract?! read more

They do nothing to accommodate you. This place is a nightmare I've repeatedly since I've owned it been at the dealer trying to get things fixed. They've dented up my vehicle. They didn't even do a proper vehicle inspection. This place is very disrespectful. They do not return your phone calls. My husband and I went in to inquire about a motorhome. One of my fears going to a dealer is scamming. They tell you what you want to hear. One of the questions my husband and I had was the process for financing. I did not want my credit ran 10/15 times. The salesman assisting stated they only run your credit once then they match it to a lender. That's it & we didn't need to worry about that. Well my credit was ran 7 times in one day. And multiple times there day after. My husband had to tell them to stop running it. We ended up doing financing through a different company outside of camping world and got approved. One red flag for me is when we initially went to see the motorhome, they told my husband he could not turn it on without giving them $2,000. That is crazy! You don't go to a car dealer and have to put money down to just turn on the car. He didn't ask to drive it. He asked to turn it on to make sure all of the functions were working (slides, a/c, air brakes/bags, lights, etc). The salesman said they have a package which costs $3,000 where they will fix everything in the motorhome AFTER you purchase it so when you come to pick it up any issues are fixed. Another red flag is the salesman knew absolutely nothing about the motorhome. My husband could tell him more about it than he could tell us. Fast forward, my husband goes in a week later to inform them of the approval but wants to turn it on before he starts handing money over. My husband turns it on and it was not what we expected. The check engine light was on, a/c was not working, the electric steps were broken, the washer/dryer combo was short circuiting, interior vanity mirrors were shattered, air bags were leaking and my husband also found out the motorhome had a tuner on it which means the motorhome can not be smogged. My husband was trying to negotiate the price and the salesman says if we're trying to negotiate the price then we'll have to take it as is knowing that there were multiple issues with this motorhome. Super disappointed in this company! I would not recommend anyone to buy a motorhome from this Riverside location. They are money hungry, not transparent, and just want to make a sell! They were going to sell us this $51,000 motorhome hoping we would not find the issues we found. Go to a different location guys! read more

If you are thinking of buying an RV from Camping World, think twice. Once you make that purchase you are no longer a priority to this dealership. We had repairs right away on our brand new trailer. After sitting in repair for a month, we got home and realized we had no breaks. The techs had accidentally cut wiring to the breaks. They either don't have enough techs working on RV's or they don't get enough training to do repairs. In either case they like to wash their hands of any responsibility. read more

Well we had an appointment to see a specific RV that we were interested in. We got the call in the morning from the dealer making sure we were going to be there. The sales person takes us outside and says fell free to stick your head in any of these RV's. We get to the end of the isle and I say I don't see it here. The sales person says, "me either". then makes a call to his manager. Now he tells us the one we were interested in has been sold and delivered, but I can show you others. It turns out that the unit we were interested in was at another location , he was able to get the unit transported to his location so we can see it. His vast knowledge of RVs and the financing options made us feel comfortable about making this decision for our family. From the very beginning to the end , Nick held our hand till we were off the curb. To this day he has helped other family members of ours get into the RV of their dreams. Dealing with Nick and a company like Camping World had to be the best combination possible. I also can't forget to mention the finance manager Julia. We happen to buy our beautiful Jayco from Richardson RV which was totally bought out by Camping World and all contracts, However when u will eventually need some repairs on your RV that is where u will end up with the worst service ever! At first when we had to deal with them Financial Manager Julie Allen will seem extremely helpful and you will feel like what great customer service, until for whatever reasons after promises made never seem to transpire and worse of all when you call back, leave messages or even asked to speak to a higher manager, you gets crickets. No return calls, no customer service, no support, nothing!!! This unfortunately has nothing to do even with this company in California only, we live in Las Vegas and Camping World is the same same here, we had service and like other complaints on here that I have read it seems to be the norm all over. I can see why they are having law suits! We are frequent campers and we will from now on never recommend or buy from them again. Otis was a nice and very informative guy!! Buying was a nice and easy process!! I highly recommend buying from them!! Update. After one week of owning our RV we found the water tank has a bad leak. They filled it at the dealership and it is completely empty now. Also found the battery was dead this morning. I checked the cells and found 2 of 6 cells had water. This is something the dealer should check before releasing the RV. I text about the water leak and they said drive it back here. It's 40 miles from me and will cost me a lot of money for diesel and my time. I shouldn't have to go back to get things fixed. They should have caught these problems before selling it. Otis is a stand up guy and helped with the issue. It's not his fault but the services issue. So we have more problems with our new used Motorhome. The house battery they said they checked is inoperable and now I have to buy new batteries out my pocket and the fresh water tank has to be completely replaced and going to take a long time to get the part and replace it. If anyone buys an RV make sure they do a thorough inspection before you driveway or your SOL. read more

I purchased a brand new 2024 Eddie Bauer at this dealer in December. To find out the RV that was for display was the one they sold me even though it looked used a bit. They fixed various cosmetic issues I noticed before I took a final inspection. When I went over to take a final inspection they had the delivering guy take it before I finished my inspection. As I was looking at things I noticed they gave me the wrong keys for the storage locks. I had to spend money and time twice on getting the correct locks/keys since I had to uninstall them and send them back as I was told by the dealer. Then I tried using water in the kitchen and bathroom that started two leaks due to loose plastic pieces I had to tighten. Those two leaks ruined the particle wood in those areas. I also noticed the bathroom and kitchen needed silicone in every area, the shower wasn't even siliconed at all. I then heard a leak coming from under the rv. I went to see and saw water leaking from the bathroom side plumbing. I opened the area under the shower and found another loose plastic piece in the plumbing. That caused major damage in the flooring and took a long time for us to dry out the area under the floor. They also gave me a sheet by accident where they listed all the issues with this rv. To find out they didn't fix half of those issues. That made me notice those issues, for example the warped bedroom roof, or the major stratches on one side of the slide out. We never opened the awning in the inspections, to find out one side doesn't work you have to lift it manually. The screen door latches weren't placed right or the fridge doors I had to fix them both. Most of the trim inside has already fallen apart due to the bad workmanship in this rv. Seems like they built this rv in a rush. Our first day in the rv when it rained was bad. It started leaking inside from the roof ac system. I had to figure out how to get on top of my rv since it didn't come with a ladder and cover the ac with a plastic. Then the water heater stopped working. Has been over a month since it last worked. Also the water pressure went out in the shower. Not sure why that happened but the rest of the water pressure in the rv is normal just the shower one stopped working. The most recent thing that broke was the plastic knob for the stove. I was told to bring it into the service department but I am stationed and cannot have it towed out there. I was hoping they had a mobile mechanic or offer to cover the cost for another mobile mechanic. I am left with the only option to pay out of pocket to fix these problems. 04/09/25 Another issue that I just got informed about. No registration nor stickers have been received. Now I have to contact dmv to see what happened. read more

I called this dealership a day prior to driving 2.5 hours there, each way. They confirmed they had the trailer I wanted, on the lot, and ready to go. Well, not of that was the case. It was still in their storage location off site. You would imagine that the sales department would have had it ready to go and detailed, as I stated verbatim I was coming down to buy it. As I was leaving to go to the Murrieta location (which clearly was a better option), they stated they could have it detailed and deliverable that day. Took my family out to lunch, we returned over 2 hours later, and it still wasn't there. The delay was due to it getting detailed. Again, another lie. It was never detailed and we waited another 2 hours for them to simply hose it off. After being there 7 hours, I returned home to a filthy trailer, had to spend days detailing it myself, finding were all the loose screws went, and vacuuming sawdust for days. What a miserable experience. I got hosed on the APR, got a filthy trailer, had the worst buying experience of my life. And to the day, I never got one follow-up call from this dealership. I will steer clear of all Camping Worlds in the future, and advise everyone else ofnthe same. If you dislike snakes, stay far away from this stealership. read more

My spouse and I walked into the Riverside location with the intention of looking at a specific trailer yesterday. One that I had not been able to find at the Colton location. When we walked in the young girl at the counter greeted us and said we must give her our information via our California Drivers license to look at their inventory. I advised her that we have never once been asked to present our ID's at the Colton location. Her reply was that it is policy and that she doesn't know why Colton hadn't because of policy. I really find it hard to believe that such a policy exists in today's world, being that there is a huge risk of criminal fraud being done people in giving up your information to a stranger. If this is policy it's a horrible policy. I advised the young lady that we weren't giving her our IDs to look at a trailer and that we were looking to purchase a trailer they show is available online and told her that I guess we will buy from somewhere else. She looked like she couldn't care less as she just replied "okay" with a smirk on her face. Well that's that, we left. We are in our 50's, about to retire and start traveling. We have owned many RV's in the past 27 years to include toy-haulers, class C and class A Motorhomes, to our last trailer that I recently sold which was a 42 foot Solitude 5th wheel by Grand Designs. Our intention was to get a shorter but still very nice trailer that could be used at state parks as to not limit our travels. I write this so that perhaps someone at this business, someone in charge that has the ability to make change, might do something other than just reply to these negative reviews with something other than the normal "please send you issue in an email to....". This is a complete failure for this business and management needs to recognize and change their policy. Then perhaps place someone at the front counter with a little bit more life experience than some 20 year old girl who couldn't care less about the business. Today, we are going to Mike Thompson's RV in Colton to purchase a trailer. Sadly, not the one we wanted to purchase yesterday but it is a nice trailer and will satisfy our needs. read more

All I wanted was for it to be fixed, but honestly the associates were so nice and friendly until I paid. After that I couldn't get a single person to call back/text. Just voicemails or wrong dept. I had paid for delivery and they wanted me to pay to bring it back... I am extremely disappointed with camping world. How are you going to deliver a brand new trailer with damage??? I strongly encourage everyone to read this before thinking about shopping here. Last weekend, My fiancé and I entered this camping world hoping to look into a trailer to purchase. The salesman here ( For courtesy to them I will not use a name) seemed very nice and helpful at first. We found one we really liked and wanted to spend the week talking it over. I messaged the salesman this morning asking for a vin number to get an insurance quote, here's where things started going downhill. Instead of giving me the vin he called and said it's going to take too long to get the vin and I need to put down a deposit asap. I wanted a quote on insurance and the rest of the week to talk it over with my fiancé. Things started getting heated over the phone when he was trying to explain to me why I need to make a deposit first and worry about insurance after because it was going to sell quick. I once again assured him I wanted the vin and to think it over first before putting in a deposit, my fiancé and I both agreed we're in no huge rush and even if someone else bought this trailer, we would keep contact with this salesman to purchase one in the future. This salesman seemed very at frustrated at this point saying we just need to "Look at something cheaper, something smaller, with not a lot of space and not as nice" in an extremely rude tone. I responded with "okay maybe". The salesman then aggressively hung up. And sent me a sarcastic text and also saying "You are too much to coach" . I called my fiancé and told her and she was so upset. We wanted this trailer bad but they immediately lost our business with the rude and unprofessional actions. Legit seamless process. We had several issues at other places before we came here, and we were so relieved we made the drive out to this place. Cole was absolutely amazing the entire time. He showed us every trailer that fit our needs, was very knowledgeable about everything, and is such a sweet kid. He played with our son the entire time & found us our dream trailer. We called them in advance because we wanted to view a particular model. They told us they had one on the lot and that we could come and see it tonight. We drove out from Pasadena in traffic. The salesman walked us onto the lot and suddenly we were told that the model we wanted to see had been sold 3 days prior.
