Dropped our trailer off around Presidents' Day for repairs. There was. Water leak and a gas leak. After 6 weeks, called to check. They wrote down all the wrong info. Never completed anything. We had to call often to get the job done. They never figured out the water seeping out from under the cabinets. Also, couldn't figure out our insurance coverage. We had to manage that as well. Got the trailer back today and it is FILTHY. Looks like someone was eating in there frequently. Dirty dried muddy footprints everywhere. Black greasy handprints all over. I brought my trailer in for Service, which took them nearly 3 months to get the items corrected, which included replacing windows and some misc items. Upon picking up my trailer, some items were missing: (1) JBL Sound Bar + Subwoofer, (2) 4k Projectors, (1) Xbox X w/ 2 Controllers. Beware of thieves at this facility. read more

Beware!! There is some shady stuff going on at the Riverside, California service center. I had my travel trailer being repaired and while it was under their care, someone used a key to go into my storage compartment and my Honda generator plus all my tools went missing. Management completely washed their hands of the situation- all I got from Terry the general manager was a sorry we're not responsible for lost or stolen items. They apparently had a break in and coaches had items stolen. It's just odd how the thieves used a key to get into mine and the others were forced open. Wow!!! And this was their response after I contacted their Marcus line. Time to share my experience with others as this isn't ok. Unbelievable they will damage their reputation over a $900 generator and the cost of my stolen tools. read more

Four months and still our trailer repair is not finished! Took the travel trailer here because it was supposed to be a guaranteed shop for Farmers Insurance following a collision (other person's fault). Repair is still not complete. New part they said they had disappeared so trying to get another one. Expected a lot better from Camping World. read more

Same issues as most people. Had my unit way to long. Takes weeks for anything to get done. They blame it on manufacturer but common sense tells you otherwise. Overpromise on timelines and can't follow through. read more

I've had my trailer for years and read so much negativity about camping world. I took my trailer in for some repairs and honestly had such a good experience with Danny. It's a drive for me but I'll definitely come back. When we upgrade bigger next year I'll go there. Danny is on top of it. read more

Came in a few weeks ago to get a referral for mobile service. Long story short the guy hasn't responded after money was transferred. He did a job that didn't fix anything. Then I called camping world to let them know. A lady answered, I told her what happened and she blamed a coworker that was fired "Russ" for handing out the referral card?!? Then she said thank you and wanted to hang up. I said oh okay I was just letting you know, it sounds like you're giving me attitude about this? She then said thank you again as if I was inconveniencing her to give her feedback on who they are referring people too. I had to literally track them down using what, like 8 different phone numbers that they have to finally reach someone? No wonder they have such low stars on Yelp. I spent about $8000 on a toy hauler. Found out it needed about $7000 in repairs. I okayed them but was not happy to find out that the seller of the trailer lied to me. It had major water damage. $15,000 later, not including the initial $8000 investment. I'm still going back-and-forth getting repairs taken care of. The same repairs. One technician totally screwed things up and now the other technicians are trying to repair the mistakes and fix the damage caused by the mistakes. Overall, I'm not super happy with the service even though the rep that helped me, Danny, was very nice and did try to help. read more

Disappointed with Customer service in parts department. First I called for a part and based on response and cost quoted I drove down to this shop. I also had an exchange item. They could not process exchange for store credit even though the part I purchased was based on their assistance when purchased. It was a wrong part . I do not live local so never had a need to come back until now. Parts Manager gave me a 15 minute explanation as to technical reasons why they could not provide credit for my purchase, I just thought it was ridiculous why couldn't make an exception since we were buying a $100 item. We were looking for a fifth wheel when in Riverside, and a salesperson named Otis assisted us at Camping World. He was very cordial, and even though the lot didn't have the exact unit we down selected to, he still tried looking for the unit nationwide. We were very satisfied with the customer service and still bought a fifth wheel hitch from Camping World. I brought in a part for my RV so I can purchase the exact same one due to the part is custom. The lady who says she is the manger (Danelle ) for the parts dept said they didnt have it but could order the part which would take 4 weeks . So I paid up front and placed the order . she said there is no returns on Special Orders and I said that's fine I won't need to return Because I need this part I need. I said this is the correct part you are ordering correct she said yes. 4 weeks go by and I called to check the status a worker by the name of Colton who was very polite said he needs to call the manufacturer because it says it's was canceled . He calls me back and said I have good news the part is here I said great I will have it picked up today. My dad picked it up and brought it to me and it was definitely not the part I ordered. I called the parts dept and the same manager whose name is Danelle answered the phone and I explained to her what happened. She said sorry no refunds on special orders . I said I understand that but you ordered the wrong part and that is your error. .she said oh well that's the policy. She had a nasty attitude . She differently needs some training on how to solve and speak to customers . Especially when she made the error . She clearly does not know what she is doing . I asked to speak to the GM she refused to give me his Info so I called corporate they said they will refund me and will contact Chris Hanson who is the GM and let him know What happened with Danelle's unprofessional behavior. I will never buy or take my RV to this location again due to Danelle's nasty attitude . Danelle must hate her job . Only one of the service people are even worth mentioning. The best technician they have is rude, not very good, and gets away with treating customers like crap. On top of all of that, they overcharged $40 for a part thats only $20 on Amazon. And then they turned a simple one visit radio install, into a " total nightmare"! The one person that was nice ended being the reason I had to pay for something on an unnecessary second visit, that was supposed to already be paid for. BULL they are crooks and they do shitty work. skip it trust me. The one in Velencia is a dream both Camping world locations in Riverside SUCK!! Btw a one hour install will take 6 hours read more

They never want to fix anything and have no clue what they are doing. Place is pathetic. My EasyUp was stolen out my storage when I took our 2020 Vision Entegra to get the black tank flush repaired in January. Motorhome sat until September and when I try to use the flush it still was not fixed. Brought it back to them for repair and they stated it's not under warranty anymore. I explained that it was never fixed last time it was in. Finally they approved it to be fixed. Next I get a phone call from Riverside PD. My motorhome was broken into and my outside TV was missing and some other small items. Everything was locked when I left because of my previous experience but somehow the TV cabinet was unlocked. They said screw driver's were used to open it but there is 0 damage to the locks and I couldn't get it open with a screw driver to see how well the lock works. 8 units were broken into total, the lot is completely unsecured with no security or barbwire around it. I would definitely stay away from this place! I will be calling my warranty company and asking if I can take my motorhome elsewhere. read more

We have a 2018 Jayco Alante, with a rather good warranty, and took it in to have our overly squeaky dash looked at.
