went to camping world rossford for the awning on my motor home it was a year old they say cant get parts for it have to replace it with a newer version would be a couple weeks 10 weeks later got it back went on vacation put it out 1 time it would not retract all way burned out the new motor its under warranty got appointment took it back to cp rossford 3 weeks later not done it needed put in storage for winter set up another appointment took it back to rossford shit hole camping world 10 weeks later after several phone calls finally got it back i would not go there for toilet paper would rather use poison ivy for wiping with than have to deal with than to deal with all those ass holes what a fucking joke read more

Do NOT let any of the negative reviews influence your decision to stop in to Camping World of Toledo. We went to there just look and see what was out there, in regards to RVs as it has been over 15 years since our last purchase. Tyler met with us, asked about our wants, needs and budget and we headed out in to the lot. Tyler was patient, courteous, and extremely helpful. Tyler spent over two hours with us and though we weren't planning on it, we found our dream RV!Tyler was one of the main reasons why we decided to purchase here. He was honest and our entire crew felt SO comfortable with him. After the sale, we had the pleasure of meeting with Joe, the service manager, who was just as amazing as Tyler was. Joe walked us through our entire RV and allowed us to ask as many questions as needed and was also extremely patient. Colleen took over to finalize everything and she was the icing on the cake. Colleen went over every form and piece of information with a fine tooth comb. We all left, smiling and so happy that we took the drive from northern Macomb County, Michigan to Camping World of Toledo. Please trust me when I say that we did not plan on purchasing a camper yesterday but because of the AMAZING staff at Camping World of Toledo, we walked away with the RV of our dreams. My wife and I had a great experience with sales associate Kyle Osborn 4/21/18. Not the typical pushy sales technique you might expect to find. He let us take our time to make a decision and answered all of our questions. He was upfront and honest and didn't push us in any direction we weren't comfortable. Great selection of in store products. The bad? Prices. Don't know how they compete. It's like a convenient Mart, if you need something right away and don't mind paying a hefty premium then go ahead. I rarely ever find myself in that situation. read more

Went to look for an bigger camper on a Saturday. The salesman found us exactly what we were looking for. Sat with the salesman negotiating, filled out credit app, was told they would call tomorrow. They aren't open on Sunday and months later we never received a call back. Checked credit report and they ran my credit which makes for a hard inquiry that stays on your credit report for a couple of years. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I was in the process of purchasing a travel trailer from them. We had recently had a bad snow storm and I was unable to get my trade in camper out of winter storage to take it to camping world and called them that morning and left a message explaining this. The salesmen (Vince) called me about 45 minutes later to see if I was still coming. When I answered the phone, the salesmen was speaking to someone else in his office and made the statement to them "I'm going to tell him that I don't care what he has to do, he had better be here by 5:00". The rest of the conversation just went downhill from there and I canceled the purchase. I called back and left a message with the operator for the manager to call me so I could discuss this with her. I was informed that she would be in on Monday. It is now Wednesday and I've yet to hear from her. These people are in the wrong profession and should have nothing to do with customer service! Typical big company. Do not deal with these people, they have no respect for you and are apparently big enough already that they don't need your business. I am giving a one star rating because I am required to in order to post this, but I assure you that this is a no star business! read more

Customer service and knowledge is terrible. This was the second time there and both times (6 months between visits) the sales guy stated he had only been there a few weeks, at least he was honest. Makes you wonder if they can't keep workers didn't even recognize any faces. When looking at fifth wheel campers it took 45 minutes for someone to walk out even though they saw us go out. No paperwork in the campers with type/year/ specs/features or pricing in the campers (except the $80k) He explained that you have to ask and then they read it off for you. Someone that is already a camper owner would like to see the "sheet" before making a decision like that. Instead you couldn't remember what camper you like and what price it was by the time you asked the about the next. Then they kept trying to get us to look at the travel trailers and as a current fifth wheel owner when you say you have one and looking for another you don't want a travel trailer. We said no multiple times. We were also told that the price of the camper does not include new setup, service going over it, propane fill up, and delivery charge (delivery to the store not your site/home). That was going to tack on another couple thousand to the price. (They don't tell you this upfront) I've never been somewhere that did not include that on a new camper and the price marked was the price marked (excepted tax and title). It was a joke when they priced our trade (we were about to walk out but thought we would give them a chance) they quoted us that 6months before to buy it out right with no trade. We've been offered double when quoted on the same type and price range camper trade in. Been in the store portion also and no one knows anything about "parts". Was directed to 4 different people and no answers. Will not be back nor recommend this store/dealer. read more

The employee near by said that she could offer me the bat at a discount since there were no others available in the store. She asked her manager. He said, "nope you can't buy that because it's probably available online" If this is Dick's policy, okay. It's a stupid one. We then went to a nearby dick's and they at least 20 of that bat. Further, they had at least 50 youth bats n the cage (all with prices, barcodes, etc) and, get this, 4 youth bats in stock. The policy aside, the rudeness was completely unacceptable. They sold my fully paid rifle, kept the entire profit, and offered no percentage of the profit they unfortunatly made from my major misfortune. As a young father needing protection for my newborn son, Roman, losing my life savings and that essential security was devastating. They definetly did not care to keep me protected or retain my business with any urgency or generousity. I expected accountability for this unresolved transaction before the store closed, but I received none.

My furnace was making a horrible noise. Im a travel nurse so I live in it. I had this company come…read moreand look at it. They first said the wiring was backward. I had no issue last winter. They took the furnace out, brought it back in a few days, said they dusted it. Charged me an obscene amount. It turned on; sounded fine. But the sound was sporadic before. Came home from work, the noise was back and worse! They had to come and get it again, did an actual diagnostic and said it was the blower motor. They had to wait on Jayco to send the repair part, which I said in the beginning it needed to go thru Jayco. Diagnosis so it would be covered under warranty. They brought it back, it wouldn't work. They said they now had to replace the relay. It still didn't work. So they had to order a whole new control panel. Because there was an error. They swapped out the panel, the error was still there. (The furnace was working)I had to suggest they actual call Jayco, they were throwing parts at this point. They tried to reset it. They basically tapped out. Ridiculous! I had to take it to another place to get it reset. I was without a furnace for a whole month, in the dead of winter. I was also in communication with Jayco, they said I had to let them finish the repair. They also redid my invoice and pasted my signature to send to Jayco. You can see the cut lines. Moral of the story if you are in over your head, say something.

What an incredible experience we had at Camping World Toledo. We are from New Jersey and while traveling to Mackinaw Michigan our travel trailer had mechanical issues 9 miles outside of Toledo. We were able to limp our way to their store. We were skeptical if anyone would be able to help us but it was our only shot. The mechanics immediately came out to look at the problem we were having with one our wheels. They quickly pulled it to the back and got to work. While waiting, we started to wander the lot looking at the dream fifth wheel we had always wanted. From here we met Shayna. Shayna was knowledgeable, kind, courteous without being overly pushy. She led us to a beautiful fifth wheel that we ultimately decided we would purchase. We traded in our travel trailer right there (they offered us top cash for our trade in) and bought the fifth wheel! While working through the buying/trading process EVERYONE from the finance department to the sales and mechanic shop (they had to install a fifth wheel hitch on the fly) were so incredibly accommodating! Shayna went above and beyond making sure our every request was attended to. She even got in our truck bed and helped us lift and remove a very heavy tool box! I can't say enough good things about her character. If you want to buy a camper go to Camping World Toledo. Ask for Shayna and she will make magic happen for you! We were so shocked when our wheel broke on our trailer but so thrilled by the time we departed Camping World Toledo! read more

In the last year we have had our issues with camping world due to some not so honest workers. Since they have hired a much needed new staff things have definitely turned around.During the last month or so we have had the pleasure to meet and work with a great group of people, Frank their sales manager and Joe their service manager have bent over backwards to help us with our past problems. So I came in thinking I had no chance at qualifying for a camper. My kids talked me into at least trying. When I walked inside Camping World I was instantly greeted by a woman named Pam, she was kind and answered the questions I had and set me up with salesman. He took his time and explained everything I would need and after finding me and my family the perfect camper, Josh and the whole management team did everything they could and me and my family left owners of a brand new camper. I was deep in debt with my camper after some damages to it so I went to Camping World just to see what they would offer me, not only did they give me $3500 more than my payoff they got me into a new camper, truly my hero's lol. It really did go very smooth, like I said I went there to see what I could get for my camper and ended up leaving with a new one, if that isn't great customer service then I don't know what is, thank you very much Camping World and my sales Rep Matt, the only place I will even go regarding camping!!! read more

Unbelievably great experience! Don't let the negative reviews fool you. This store has over 350 campers in their inventory. True amount too! Other places claim they have 300+ in inventory to choose from, but not even close to that amount. The sales staff is kind, laid back, knowledgeable, and just a fun overall atmosphere.
