They took the furnace out, brought it back in a few days, said they dusted it. Charged me an obscene amount. It turned on; sounded fine. But the sound was sporadic before. Came home from work, the noise was back and worse! They had to come and get it again, did an actual diagnostic and said it was the blower motor. They had to wait on Jayco to send the repair part, which I said in the beginning it needed to go thru Jayco. Diagnosis so it would be covered under warranty. They brought it back, it wouldn't work. They said they now had to replace the relay. It still didn't work. So they had to order a whole new control panel. Because there was an error. They swapped out the panel, the error was still there. (The furnace was working)I had to suggest they actual call Jayco, they were throwing parts at this point. They tried to reset it. They basically tapped out. Ridiculous! I had to take it to another place to get it reset. I was without a furnace for a whole month, in the dead of winter. I was also in communication with Jayco, they said I had to let them finish the repair. They also redid my invoice and pasted my signature to send to Jayco. You can see the cut lines. Moral of the story if you are in over your head, say something.

Called them, made an appointment. The light went off, so I didn't keep the appointment. NOW, several more weeks later, the light is back on AGAIN. I went to the shop and was told "Sorry, its been more than 90 days, we'll cover the cost of the part only." The part is $25. This is a disreputable place of business, DO NOT GO HERE unless you plan on getting a repair that will last 45 days or less. Outrageous, I will share this terrible experience with everyone I know. I never plan on going here again. I will now be forced to go somewhere else to have my thermostat replaced because Smitty's Auto is incapable of performing this relatively simple repair.

They had plenty of chances to tell me my car problems were worse than they were for a few extra bucks, but they were honest and straight forward with me every single time. That means a lot to a woman who is used to being taken advantage of by mechanics who prey on the fact that we are steriotypically less car savvy than our male peers.

They sold me a new tire, and after the cost of the tire and installation, it was about $275. I advised the service person who assisted me that I was turning this leased car in, in approximately 5 months. He continued to tell me that all my other tires were "terrible" and that I should get every tire replaced because it's likely that the leasing company will require it or "ding" me if I turn the car in with bad tires. Mind you, there is only 33,000 miles on this car, and of the 10 vehicles I have leased in the past 20 years, not once have I ever been dinged for tires or required to replace the tires. Throughout his consult with me, the service attendant kept trying to get to me get all new tires...I mean, come on guy, read the room! I don't want or need all new tires for a car I am going to turn in soon! He told me that they would get the tire on and have me out in 30 minutes, and that they would put the spare tire back in it's holding cavity underneath my hatchback floor and I could be on my way. They did indeed get me on my way in about 37 minutes. About a mile from leaving the establishment, my tire pressure monitor tells me that the new tire has 26 lbs of pressure in it. However, the other three tires on my car are set at 35 lbs of pressure. Huh? Why didn't they fill it to 35 lbs to match the other tires? That evening, I stopped at Kroger to purchase groceries, and when I lifted my hatchback to load them into the back, there it was: the spare tire and all of its parts and screws, not put back away as I was assured it would be. Frustrating! Come on people, deliver what you say you would deliver! Good points about this establishment is very courteous customer service and speedy service. Bad points are described above. My car drives noticeably rougher and I need to investigate if I should fill my "new tire" with 35 lbs of pressure to match the other tires.
