My Boss likes this place and mentions it alot. Also, a good friend of mine likes to frequent this place with his family. Prima's has been in business since the early nineties. I remember my Teacher from High School saying, she like it too! It had been several years since I last ate here. So, with all the positive comments be being said, I decided to dine in before a Christmas Concert. Without further due, let's get started. I walked in and it is spacious and clean with all the tables set. They have an oversized Statue that holds the menus. We got our drinks quickly and they were topped off without asking too. Our order came out quickly as well. I ordered the Manicotti is was delicious! It was just the right size filled with rich Tomatoe Sauce and Ricotta Cheese. We were blessed with four jumbo rolls and lots of Butter too. I can see why Primas is so popular. Iwould consider this a staple Restaurant in Fort Worth. If, you have not already been, go now.

Prima was good for our first time. The prices are certainly great! Nothing is over the top in terms of flavor, but nothing was terrible. We will definitely be back to try some more items. The staff was friendly, but service was a bit slow. However, I did appreciate the Italian style murals on the wall.

Such a cute family oriented Italian restaurant, super friendly staff and reasonably priced food. Great portions packed with flavor. BYOB, self seating *Great Place to sit large parties*

The consistency keeps us hooked. I always love coming back to Prima's especially with family. Our all time favorites: the lasagna, zuppa di mare, minestrone soup, fagoli soup, eggplant parmigiana, chicken fettuccine alfredo, shrimp diablo, pizza, raviolis, and spaghetti & meatballs. It's all about that tomato sauce! And the fresh baked bread doesn't hurt either I would say, other than the very authentic tasting sauce, the spaghetti itself is always cooked perfectly and is very addicting and I am always blown away by the shrimp, big and delicious! This time my parents and I came by on a whim and on a slower Thursday night. Despite the quiet atmosphere and lack of filled seats, the food was still hot and service is always delightful. We like our food spicy and they had no problem making our zuppa di mare and minestrone soup spicy. I personally tried everything (sharing is caring!) and loved it all. It was my first time having their raviolis and I can attest that anything served in that little lasagna dish is made better by it for some reason, so yummy! Can't wait to try more from their menu :)

I stumbled on this place bc of sole fabulous reviews that I saw online. It did not disappoint! I got the kids ravioli to go and it was sooooo fresh and delicious. I cannot wait to go back and try other things. The ambiance is quaint and byob. The owner came out and spoke to me and their service was excellent! I did read Billy Bob Thornton was just there which is cool. Definitely try this place!

Your my little secret and that's how I kept it lol! Cuisine of the year is Italian, Italian restaurant of the year goes to Prima's Pizza & Pasta. Located just off Hulen south of the mall, you'll find Prima's tucked away in a small shopping center. Dimly lite on the outside yet inside the flavors and atmosphere are as colorful as can be. Family owned, Prima's dawn a warm atmosphere often filled with families enjoying great meals. The usual service staff is on hand making return visits feel like home. Prima's menu is pretty extensive though my go-to item is the Lobster Ravioli which is accented with a few shrimps. The pink sauce used on the dish is a creamy based tomato sauce, yet not overpowering but rich in flavor. Other items I've enjoyed have been the stuffed mushroom appetizer, manicotti shells .. & the BYOB! Prima's is definitely a spot to try in the southwest FW area. Be warned Sunday's at Prim's means a pack housed for all the right reasons. Job well done Prima's

My new favorite local pizza place! I love how I can BYOB my favorite beer and get some amazing neopolitan pizza from a great staff! Family friendly and seems like they know how to handle large groups. My wife also likes how they have a range of options that are good for her to eat while pregnant and having to watch her blood sugar.

This lil hidden spot was pretty good. The pizza was great, the ceaser salad was good, mozzarella sticks and knotts were amazing. I had the chicken Marsala, the serving was huge! Restaurant has many tables, we just sat on our own and a server came to assist us. The Service was pretty fast compared to other places. I will be returning and totally recommend.

Apéritivo Hour should draw locals running every day in the bar & patio including drinks & snacks. I wish I had come with a larger appetite because the menu offers a balanced selection of antipasti (starters), zuppa (soup), insalata (salad), primi (housemade pasta), secondi (protein dishes), and contorni (sides). My gracious server recommended a Rosemary Foccaccia (saved for next time) and Wild Arugula salad that was garden fresh in a Texas pecan vinaigrette with snappy pecorino and the most incredible crisped chicken skin as an alternative to traditional breadcrumbs. It was light and fresh with depth and richness, a perfect starter. From cool to warm - a Kabocha Squash Soup made with honeycrisp apple cider topped a tart currant chutney and crunchy roasted pine nuts. Texture was velvety smooth, delicately sweet, perfectly balanced, thoughtfully light to precede later dishes. Dessert a must, ask for house recommendation which rotates. My lovely server remained present and attentive although I was her only patron on the patio - a sign of superb service! I'm looking forward to seconds and main on my next trip.

Overall Exceptional Food & Incredible Leftovers! The food was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. To start, the calamari was cooked perfectly, but the absolute highlight was the brilliant addition of fried olives mixed in. It added the perfect briny, savory crunch that took the dish to a whole new level such a creative and delicious touch! For the main course, the pasta was rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The true testament to how great it was? I took the leftovers home, and it tasted just as amazing the next day for lunch. You know the food is high quality when it holds up perfectly as leftovers. Great flavors, thoughtful details, and food that keeps on giving. I'll definitely be back! Just please acknowledge if a guest is celebrating something special.

We ordered the calamari and the bread & ricotta. I really loved the bread & ricotta. Something always gets me about bread and cheese. The calamari was pretty good, I liked the addition of the olives, but overall it was a typical calamari dish. We also ordered the little gem salad to share. It was perfect because there were 4 gems for each of us. This was also decent. Nothing particularly memorable about this dish, but still good. We each ordered our own entree. Our friends ordered the vodka rigatoni and the lasagna bolognese. Hubby ordered the tagliatelle bolognese and I had the cacio e Pepe and added sausage. Pastas were cooked to the perfect al dente. There was so much meat in all our entrees. We each had a bite of each other's meals. I couldn't decide which one I liked best. They were all so very good and they all tasted different. I really love having foodie friends. And then we ended with dessert/after dinner drinks. Our friends got an affogato and an espresso martini. Hubby and I shared the pistachio cake. That pistachio cake is to die for. I don't want to over exaggerate because what if you decide to get it and you hate it? Well, I loved it. It wasn't too sweet and the salt flakes on top was perfection! It was so good with the affogato. 100% would get again.

Clean, well lit. Wait staff dressed uniformly. Dining area divided into sections, so we sat in a cozy intimate "corner" with a few other tables. Wait staff: Clean, neat and friendly. Our server was a WONDERFUL young lady named Jasmine. Very attentive, almost "intuitive", but not too intrusive. Perfect service. Food: Bread was nice, in house made garlic rolls with a light pretzel salt on top. I had Chicken Parmigiana, on a bed of thin spaghetti. My wife had the Lasagna. Portions were very generous. (I'm Cajun, so a "portion" to me usually feeds two. I was full and happy.) Chicken was fresh, hot, perfect breading. Marinara sauce tasted like homemade sauce, with a perfect amount and blend of Italian herbs. I had my wife's leftover lasagna for supper. (She loved it, but there was a lot.) It was every bit as good as my entree. I'm guessing that was ground veal. Wonderful! A gentleman I assume was the owner/manager came around to personally make sure the dining experience was good. They are Chicken Sunrise, and Veal Genovese, both come with pasta and the sauce on the meals are wonderful. Since we like these two dishes so much it is hard to try anything else. Bread rolls also come with the meal. Salad is extra, I had the Caesar salad. Started with an appetizer Escargot Provencal.... oh man this is good. Dip your bread into the garlic butter yum. The plates have plenty of food you will be full or take-home leftover. Nice glass of wine is good with the meal. Service was good once they were terribly busy, so the food came out slowly.
