We all said we wanted some real Italian food or we go back to Olive Garden and well I should have taken option #2. Portions were small and seasoning's was non existent. I had to coat my spaghetti with salt pepper and what ever was on the table. Pizza had a bitter taste like I'm gonna be up front real it was worst than the food at the buffet. My Boss likes this place and mentions it alot. Also, a good friend of mine likes to frequent this place with his family. Prima's has been in business since the early nineties. I remember my Teacher from High School saying, she like it too! It had been several years since I last ate here. So, with all the positive comments be being said, I decided to dine in before a Christmas Concert. Without further due, let's get started. I walked in and it is spacious and clean with all the tables set. They have an oversized Statue that holds the menus. We got our drinks quickly and they were topped off without asking too. Our order came out quickly as well. I ordered the Manicotti is was delicious! It was just the right size filled with rich Tomatoe Sauce and Ricotta Cheese.We were blessed with four jumbo rolls and lots of Butter too. I can see why Primas is so popular. The consistency keeps us hooked. I always love coming back to Prima's especially with family. Our all time favorites: the lasagna, zuppa di mare, minestrone soup, fagoli soup, eggplant parmigiana, chicken fettuccine alfredo, shrimp diablo, pizza, raviolis, and spaghetti & meatballs. It's all about that tomato sauce! And the fresh baked bread doesn't hurt either I would say, other than the very authentic tasting sauce, the spaghetti itself is always cooked perfectly and is very addicting and I am always blown away by the shrimp, big and delicious! This time my parents and I came by on a whim and on a slower Thursday night. Despite the quiet atmosphere and lack of filled seats, the food was still hot and service is always delightful. We like our food spicy and they had no problem making our zuppa di mare and minestrone soup spicy. I personally tried everything (sharing is caring!) and loved it all. It was my first time having their raviolis and I can attest that anything served in that little lasagna dish is made better by it for some reason, so yummy! Primas is incredible, we love everything about it. They've also the BEST at large orders. My church bought over 100 pizzas for vacation Bible school, and i ordered spaghetti and meat sauce for 40+ guests at my wedding yesterday. The order was perfect; delivered on time and delicious. We had the the rehearsal dinner there as well, on Friday evening. The food, service, and atmosphere at Primas are all perfect. They're a "don't miss" restaurant! read more

Located just off Hulen south of the mall, you'll find Prima's tucked away in a small shopping center. Dimly lite on the outside yet inside the flavors and atmosphere are as colorful as can be. Family owned, Prima's dawn a warm atmosphere often filled with families enjoying great meals. The usual service staff is on hand making return visits feel like home. Prima's menu is pretty extensive though my go-to item is the Lobster Ravioli which is accented with a few shrimps. The pink sauce used on the dish is a creamy based tomato sauce, yet not overpowering but rich in flavor. Other items I've enjoyed have been the stuffed mushroom appetizer, manicotti shells .. & the BYOB! Prima's is definitely a spot to try in the southwest FW area. Covered in a large slice of mozza...way too much, overwhelming all other flavors. Removed the cheese and it's much better. Filling has good flavor. We've passed by the restaurant a million times and finally (yes it took us 5 years, stopped in) ... Last week we ordered chicken with capers & angel hair pasta, chicken Alfredo, 2 salads and sautéed mushrooms. Today (Sunday 3/28) we're back for pizza and I gotta say I'm from New England and this pizza joint is on point. Reminds me of home from the decor to the hospitality. But we decided to celebrate my graduation at home and ordered the family some Italian food. We got Alfredo Tortellini, Individual cheese pizza, manicotti, Salmon piccata, Chicken Parmigiana Cremora and the Tiramasu!! Everything was delicious!! The only complaint is the manicotti was a very small portion... but that's it! The bread was fresh and garlicky the tiramisu was the best I've ever had! Everything was fabulous. The Caesar salad was delicious as well. We ordered gnocchi Gorgonzola, spaghetti & meatballs and chicken carchiaffini. The meals came with huge garlic knots. The servings were very big.
