We came for my daughter's 17th birthday tonight. We were told 25 minutes for a table for 6 so, I ordered an appetizer at the bar but after 45 minutes and multiple parties being seated and getting bar orders, we left. Bar, and other employees didn't seem to care even though we were patient. They had multiple tables available and more than enough employees for a Thursday. Never going back, huge disappointment. If you aren't completely satisfied with your experience here, then you know nothing about real Italian cuisine. The wood fire oven is spectacular and one of a kind. The pizza dough is light and just the right amount of flakiness. The fact that they use Semolina flour only goes to make the pizza dough the most authentic version to real Italian pizza you can get anywhere around the area. The chicken pesto, hot honey, and my personal favorite a classic margehrita pizzas are to die for. A great selection of local draft beers as well. The service is always over the top. We've been Camporosso close to a dozen times. And always have an amazing dining experience there. Last night was no exception. We had American style buffalo chicken pizza which is fantastic. However the must have is the house salad with their Gorgonzola dressing. Yum!! Last thing, the staff, all of them are the best. I had heard good things about this place and we've been meaning to give it a try. It exceeded my expectations. I am not a huge pizza lover, but when I do treat my husband, I want gourmet pizza. This was delicious salad, pizza, and meatballs. The hot honey and the pepper and the pig were perfect. The crust was great and the toppings were amazing. The Italian Cobb was amazing. And everyone else seemed happy with their food. Everything that came out of the kitchen spelled and looked wonderful. Better than the food was the amazing service. I appreciate going to eat and being taken care of, even the owner came out to every table personally to make sure his customers were happy. We will be back for sure:):) read more

My family and I love this establishment. We have been going for many years. It is a small local place in Fort Mitchell. I highly recommend their pizza. We usually get the chicken barbecue as well as the chicken buffalo with bacon. I have also tried the pesto pasta. I did add salmon on to the pasta. I did find the pasta be somewhat overpriced. I paid $19 for paste. Only downfall I would find at this establishment. It does not allow you to place carry out orders. For you to place an order to go you have to go into the establishment and place it. Which usually takes about 20-25 minutes. I did ask the staff why they did that. Overall great pizza and great service. I just wish that they had carry out and delivery. read more

This is our new favorite place. Sat at the bar, had dinner and beers. The bartenders were very busy but we never waited for a drink. Had the meatballs first, which next to my mother's were the best I have ever had. We then had the pesto chicken pizza which was cooked to perfection. I am a pizza enthusiast, home pizza and dough chef. I was told by a friend I need to check this place out. Was not disappointed, and loved it. The dough had the right hydration and the Marra Forni oven is impressive. In the older photo's there was a Mugnaini oven, that must have ben replaced. These people definitely know how to make pizza, and have invested heavily to bring Napoli and Bari style to NKY. Cincinnati needed this place for sure! read more

A little pricey and wine by the glass is also alittle to high $$ compared to others around town. I hear this place is closing. It's not that busy unless it is happy hour times. One of VERY few locally owned spots in Fort Mitchell, Ky and couldn't be more thrilled they are around! We visit almost every trip up to see my in-laws and it's a little slice of Louisville love as far as quality locally owned restaurants go! Service is always friendly and prices are great for quality of food. Pizzas have always been great, wine and a full page bourbon list are always spot on, and patio os a great atmosphere in warmer months. The only lackluster item I've had was their pesto chicken pasta, lacking a bit of flavor, but hey, it's a pizza place, so stick with what works! read more

Wow. Double wow. My boif and I were headed to a Cincy Chamber Orchestra performance Saturday night and wanted to get dinner. Been to a lot of restaurants in NKY. Happened to remember this restaurant that is located near the old Rempke's market on Dixie Highway. It's in a white building that sits a little bit back from the road. This has got to be one of the best eateries I have been to in a long time. We had delicious pizza and pasta specials. So fresh. So tasty. Our server Colton was so friendly and knowledgeable. They offer both wood fired pizza and classic American pizza, so everybody is sure to find their favorite type of pie here. I was feeling adventurous, so I decided to try the Sopressata Hot Honey pizza. It came with crushed tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, sopressata salami, and local hot honey. It was very good, but I was expecting it to be spicy like the honey served at The Eagle. I guess the "hot" in hot honey means that it's temperature hot and not spicy. The pizza is amazing. The hot honey pizza is... well... fantastic. I substituted Mushrooms for the meat and it was wonderful. When I was there it was packed which is always a good sign. The only reason I didn't give it a five star is due to the sound. It is extremely loud. I hope they eventually put something on the ceiling to keep the acoustics down. Really cute place so I feel like that and the sunshine on the patio are worth 2 stars. The drawbacks were super slow service - no acknowledgment for 10 minutes and another 10 to just bring water. My mom and I each ordered a separate pizza. The fig pizza was good but not great. The other pizza, something with lots of meat, was straight up burnt. The server didn't check on us at all and we'd waited so long for the pizzas that it didn't make sense to send it back anyway. Excellent service, wanted for nothing very courteous and helpful. Being from Nashville the lack of sweet tea is always a let down. There are some places that don't but at least offer a simple syrup to add that sweet taste my recommendation would be to offer guest wanting sweet tea to suggest adding lemonade to make an Arnold Palmer problem solved. Now to the food meatballs were delicious only 2 pcs bread 3 meatballs. Also a touch pricey 3.33 a meatball seems a bit high but the sauce is still on my mind so I overlooked it.
