They did save some of the good posts and beams as I had asked. When installation came, they took my wood! They did not completely replaced the rotting fascia, as I was told they would during the sale. There were some unfinished points that were corrected after several calls. The shades I had were not able to be reused because they were too heavy for the aluminum so Wilfred volunteered to run to Home Depot to get some. But...when I asked for the receipt I was told it would be e mailed, which never happened. After several calls and e mails. i finally went to Home Depot myself and found out he had charged me about double. I sent a message with pictures but still no answer. I am a senior person who trusted and was grateful. Very disappointing.

Alum Works and another vendor provided similar pricing but Alum Works offered more creative ideas and ultimately helped me save money. Naz, who prepared the quote, came out twice to review the project. Ish later returned to take final measurements, and the installation crew arrived as scheduled and completed the work professionally. Naz also coordinated with their roller shades partner, Daryl, to help me add roller shades to the patio cover. There were a few minor issues along the way, and my louvers needed adjustments on two separate occasions. Each time, Alum Works was responsive and never hesitated to send someone out. Alex, Ish and even Drew personally came by to make sure everything was adjusted properly and that I was satisfied with the final results. I highly recommend Alum Works to friends and family for their patio cover needs. Their customer service, responsiveness, and commitment to getting the job done right made the entire experience a positive one.

In the end, it ended up costing more but it gave us our dream patio and we are ecstatic with the results. My patio supplies arrived in roughly a week and was installed in just one day by Ish and team. Jenny was so incredibly flexible with installment payments. They worked efficiently and completed everything in just one day, which honestly exceeded our expectations. What I appreciated most was how easy it was to communicate with both Juan and Raul. They were responsive, patient with my questions, and very open to making adjustments to fit exactly what we wanted. I never felt brushed off or rushed, which is rare. The workmanship turned out clean and solid. The structure feels sturdy, everything looks well-aligned, and the finish came out exactly how we envisioned. I'm the general manager of a large scale HOA, and we had 10 wooden patio covers and trellises that needed work. They helped us get rid of two, and they replaced the other eight with Elitewood Ultra. Several of these were large, curved covers and one was a large gazebo with a gabled roof, which required replacement of the asphalt singled roof as well. Dave did the initial estimation for me, and Louie mostly took over from there, but everyone at Take Cover was knowledgeable and easy to work with. They got the permits for our project with relative ease, and the communication and scheduling were great throughout the completion of the project. I'm so looking forward to not having to repaint them every 4-6 years or worry about any termites like our old wooden covers! It's been several months now, and they are performing and looking great.
