I see a lot of negative reviews here, so I want to share my two great experiences here! I find that the woman who does alterations is very professional and has always done a flawless job. She had my dress for a formal event done in a week. I had to have about 7 inches removed and a protruding zipper fixed on a dress completely covered in sequins. I was told by others with how embellished the dress was that I would have to pay the same amount I paid for the dress itself. I paid an EXTREMELY fair price of $100 on the day I dropped the dress off. She also altered my prom dress in 2019 and was quick and charged a very affordable price then too. took my toddler in for a fitting and she was crying as the lady was measuring because she's 22 months and sometimes gets nervous around people she doesn't know. before the woman measuring could even give me a minute to try to calm her down she told me to take off her dress and when I was going to pay i just questioned the height of it cuz It was high around her armpits and she just immediately told me she didn't want to do the dress and go somewhere else. i laughed because I was shocked how angry and rude she got in an instabt. crazy woman Who clearly doesn't need or want business. read more

So if you're reading this you've most likely had a run-in with this wretched little establishment. Their work is inferior and the owners are beyond rude, I would call them deplorable and incorrigible, thoroughly hopeless. If you are anything like me, you hopped onto Yelp to see if their treatment of you was an anomaly, as one can see it is not an anomaly, this is how they operate. Owner is very rude , they insist on $ up front for certain alterations which we found a little strange . She was extremely nasty to my wife when she was merely just asking about some of their procedures. Tried to get a pair of jeans hemmed and they told my wife the thread would not match what was on the pants , when we ask why she informed us that she uses "jean thread" and these jeans used a different thread so it would not match . Told us to go somewhere else while yelling and pointing her finger at us . Beware ! read more

I have been to Laraway Cleaners and the owner and her husband are some of the rudest, non-business-minded people I have ever seen. I had my Armani suit cleaned there and it came back with stains on it. I know the stains were not on there when I brought it in. We are not talking about a small unnoticeable stain but a very large one. I brought it to their attention and they told me too bad. I did try them years ago but did not go back because of their rudeness. I did give them a try again, five years later because of their proximity to my house. I will drive 800 miles to avoid these people. Very unprofessional with a very bad cleaning service. Wouldn't let them wipe my dog's behind with a Kleenex. Very bad and I will let everyone I know to avoid Laraway Cleaners at all cost! read more

Extremely rude and violent. My mother was attacked when picking up her items. There were stains all over the items she was picking up. When she complained the women behind the counter threw all of her items on the floor and screamed at her. She then pushed her way past my mother to get to the items. The authorities were called and no justice was given to this place. Very sad! read more

I'm glad to have found Laraway cleaners. They're a green cleaner, and I've had several things cleaned there, including dresses, men's shirts, jackets, blazers, and dress pants and have seen nothing but good results. They advertise same-day and delivery services, but I have not used them. However, I have brought items there for repair and alterations--I brought a dress for hemming and a dress and top for repairs. They do good work at reasonable prices. If you go, be warned that you might be put-off by the manager's no-nonsense approach. It might be cultural or a language thing, but she's a bit abrupt. Example: When I showed her how I needed a top fixed, she asked me if it was too small for me because if it is too small, it will just happen again. (I took no offense even though I'm not a thin person and she is. I didn't bother to explain that I had simply taken the top off too roughly and had forgotten about that button). I also brought an old dress to her--a vintage dress when I got it, and I've had it for 15 years. It has a bunch of rips on various seams, and she said that she would have to charge me "too much" to fix it so I should get a new dress. I pressed for a price ($16) and agreed with her that I would buy a new dress & instead took it home with me. But I think I will probably bring it back for her to repair because the three items she's sewn for me have turned out really well. I even have a new DKNY trench coat whose sleeves are too long . . . shall I bring that to her, too? I think I might! read more

Very rude I brought some shirts in in a bag from OnePrice cleaners the lady behind the counter immediately told me they don't do one price. I'm like why are you telling me that I guess if I brought my shirts in a Jewel bag she would have told me they don't sell food. Then she tried to make a little extra cash by counting my 11 shirts as 12 I made her count it again and low and behold 11 shirts. She told me medium starch I like heavy starch. Never going back and it is the closest cleaners to my home. I wouldn't pee the store if it were on fire. read more

The other reviewer's comment about the manager being 'a bit abrupt' is the nicest way to describe this woman. Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced EVER! I brought in a TON of clothes including a shirt that I love that was stained. When I asked the woman if she could fix it, she said she would try but no promises. Fair enough. A few days later, I picked up everything in a hurry and took off without looking at the shirt. When I say it when I got home, I was almost in tears - not only was it not fixed, it was WAY worse than when I dropped it off. On top off that, there was a huge bleached out stain on a brand new pair of wool pants. When I took the clothes back in the next morning, I wasn't even all the way in the door when the woman (literally) started screaming at me that it was not her fault, and that she told me she could not fix my shirt. She also said that she told me there was a stain on my pants and that I didn't know how to care of my things, none of it was her fault. She screamed at me for almost 3 minutes and barely let me say a word. It was beyond embarassing. Finally I told her I was going to stop the check and never come to her store again. She threw my clothes back across the counter at me as I left. Needless to say, I did stop the check and have not thought more about it until she called me just now. Again, screaming. The minute I answered the phone she screamed at me I was a bad person (I had no idea even who was screaming at me) and how dare I stop the check. I finally hung up on her when she wouldn't stop yelling. Then she called me back and screamed at me more on my voicemail. I saved it for anyone who wants to hear it. At best, this woman is a bad dry cleaner with zero customer service skills. Had she not screamed or offered to try to fix my pants, it would have been a complete no issue. She has major rage issues and will absolutely never get my business again. read more

The owner Yun is the rudest person I have ever encountered! We stopped going here over 5yrs ago (due to her attitude) and just recently decided to give them another chance because they are closer to us. I will tell you this I'd rather drive miles out of the way and receive good service than ever spend another dime with this lady!
