    Contractor came and left my plug like this

    The technician that came on a service call from my home warranty call was extremely lazy! He came out on my call to fix broken outlet plug boxes he stayed for about 2-3 minutes and said he will be back but all he did was report it to my insurance company that we broke them by using oversized screws this house is old at it was normal wear and tear now I lost $75.00 in a repair call because my insurance believes his lazy workmanship and left my outlet disassembled! Never Use them!!! Oh and I canceled my home owners warranty and went with First American .

    ZERO STARS! BEWARE; Owner left the main outside electric box open to the elements & fire danger. He accused us of messing with the electricity stuff in the home, so we would lose out on a bunch of money through our home warranty. And the next day other outlets in home stopped working cause of their shotty work. On top of all this the owner is VERY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL & LEFT A MESS BEHIND. this place is more than incompetent.

    The technician is unprofessional, rude and doesn't show up on time. Worse service ever! I do not recommend this company.

    Experiencing a major electrical failure on Memorial Day was an absolute Nevada homeowner nightmare…read more Our main power box failed unexpectedly, and like most people would expect on a holiday, I couldn't get a single electrician to answer the phone. Understandable, but still incredibly stressful when you're suddenly without power. Ampere Electric was the exception. Not only did they answer the phone, they had someone at my house within an hour. Unfortunately, by the time they arrived it was late in the evening and there wasn't much that could safely be done until NV Energy could disconnect service the next morning. What impressed me was that they didn't make promises they couldn't keep. Instead, they told me exactly what would happen: they would coordinate with NV Energy first thing in the morning, get the power disconnected, and begin work immediately. That's exactly what happened. Patricio and Carlos arrived early and worked hard all day. They replaced the equipment, completed the installation, and had everything finished by around 3 PM. At that point, the only thing left was waiting for NV Energy to return so final restoration could take place. Unfortunately, NV Energy was completely inundated and running far behind schedule. This is where Ampere really separated themselves from every other contractor I've worked with. Patricio and Carlos could have easily packed up, told us we'd have to wait until the next day, and moved on to their next job. Instead, they stayed. They waited outside my house for hours. They repeatedly apologized for the inconvenience even though the delay wasn't their fault in any way. They had done their job and done it well, yet they refused to leave until the entire situation was resolved. NV Energy didn't arrive until nearly 8 PM. Patricio and Carlos were still there. The moment NV Energy completed their portion, they immediately restored everything, verified that power was working properly, and stayed until we were fully situated and every aspect of the job was complete. That level of customer service is rare. They didn't leave us stranded. They didn't pass the problem to someone else. They didn't do the minimum. They saw the job all the way through from start to finish, even when it meant spending their entire day and evening making sure their customers were taken care of. I am incredibly impressed with Ampere Electric, and especially with Patricio and Carlos. If you want a company that does what they say they're going to do, communicates honestly, and treats your problem like it's their problem, this is the team to call. Five stars, without hesitation. I can't thank Patricio and Carlos enough. Seriously.

He was very patient and explained everything ensuring that I understood all of the work being done. He even replaced two of my light bulbs. I had alot of smoke detectors to replace given that they were all nine years old. He talked me into the smoke detectors that don't require batteries. He checked my Breakers and we discussed the benefits of surge All smoke detectors were replaced and we even discussed GFI outlets. Ampere was very accommodating. I had to change my Friday appointment to Saturday since I was going back and forth with Urgent Care.

Didn't do a bad job after the fact, but lost power to all the electrical outlets in one room, and all the power in the other room. I called around for an expert. I thought it might have something to do with the breaker panel. 24-7 lived up to their name as they were able to have someone come out within the hour. A couple of other places didn't have people until two or three days later. Rene showed up. I told him everything I did and after some trial and error, he figured out the problem. I did everything correct, but there was a bad GFCI outlet that I didn't even touch that was stressed out. We ended up replacing it. He fixed it and checked all my work while teaching me about electricity. He was really professional, respectful and a patient teacher. He let me ask all the questions I wanted. He even took off his shoes even when I said it wasn't necessary. If there are future projects where I need a professional, I would definitely call these guys and Rene again. And the work is guaranteed for one year.

    I hired Able Electric to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet for my EV. For about a year, I was able to…read morecharge at 48 amps without any issues. After that, charging began to stop 2-3 hours in, with error messages indicating the outlet was overheating and charging had been halted for safety reasons. To work around the issue, I reduced the charging speed to 32 amps, which worked for another three months. Eventually, the same overheating error started occurring again. To rule out problems with my vehicle or charger, I had both inspected at the dealership. They confirmed that the issue was with the outlet, exactly as the error messages indicated. Once I had that confirmation, I contacted Able Electric to address the problem with their installation. They refused to come out and inspect it unless I paid for a service visit. Instead of taking responsibility, they asked whether there had been any issues at the time of installation. When I said no, they responded that the problem could not be their fault since it was working when the technician left. Based on that logic, their warranty seems to last about 24 hours. Although it has been a year, this type of installation should last many years without problems. Their response suggests they do not stand behind the quality of their work at all. To further verify the issue, I had two separate electrical companies inspect the installation. Both technicians independently came to the same conclusion and were shocked by how poorly the job had been done. They found that the lowest-grade outlet, breaker, and wiring had been used--even though the installation was clearly intended for EV charging. This kind of setup creates a serious risk of overheating, fire, and electrical hazards for my home, my car, and my family. Stay clear of this company--there are plenty of legitimate, professional electrical companies in Las Vegas.
