    Espresso old fashioned
    Lisa E.

Tried the seasonal cherry vanilla drink. Was excited that the flavor syrups are made in- house. Unfortunately my drink had little flavor and tasted like a watered down plain latte. My daughter had the espresso old fashioned. I didn't care for it. She said it was "pretty good". Complementary water jars were completely empty. Garbage can was full and needed to be cleaned. For our first time here, not a great impression. Found street parking out front- paid parking meter. Like the decor alot!

Stopped in one weekday morning for a hot beverage and some bakery. It's part of a larger building with large windows on the front. There are a couple of basic small café tables out front. Inside is a large space that is brightly lit through the plate glass windows. There are tables set up throughout, mainly for couples, but they could be combined for larger groups. There are also stools at the counter for seating. There wasn't anyone else in the place when I arrived, so it was very quiet. Got greeted by the friendly cashier/barista. I wanted to get a London Fog Tea Latte, but they were out of Earl Grey, so I ordered a Chai Latte instead. They didn't have a scone, but the cinnamon roll with icing looked pretty good too. Offered to warm it up, and I said definitely yes. It took a few minutes for the drink to be ready, which means they let the tea steep properly. When it got delivered to my table, I was pleasantly surprised by the latte art in the foam. I have never had a barista give me that special treatment and was thankful. The cinnamon roll was warm, gooey, and delicious. Definitely a place that I would return to.

I was in Milwaukee for work and decided to stop by canary coffee bar for my afternoon coffee. I ordered a simple latte with almond milk but it was delicious, not your regular latte! The coffee bar has a good ambiance and I could totally see myself working from here if lived in this neighborhood!

Canary has been my go to coffee shop to study! I appreciate that they're open until 9pm, which is a lot later compared to the other coffee shops nearby. They have your staple classic coffee drinks, but they also have a seasonal menu with more experimental options and a variety of sweet treats too! The baristas are always super friendly and helpful if you're not sure on what to order. It definitely does get busy during the weekends and weekdays around 5pm, so definitely plan ahead as parking can be sparse.

super cute location with big windows and high ceilings. good study spot with decent seating options. the pistachio coffee was alright, but the orange peel dominated the entire flavor. i learned that i'm not a fan of chimichurri at all lol but avocado toast was okay too. the music started getting way too loud inside.

Pretty basic menu aside from their seasonal menu, which is really what made it shine. So many fun options to try. The rose & pistachio latte was very subtle with the rose but a pretty straightforward latte otherwise. I was expecting it to be more crowded but it wasn't too bad on a late sunday afternoon

My opinion they have hands down best brew in the city of Milwaukee. Ngl it's a little hard to park and get to, it's basically right by 3rd st market. Small and cozy vibes. All of the staff are phenom. I often swing by before I go to work. Best part: they're open until like 9pm! It's so hard to find a coffee joint that stays open late for night owls like me. It's clean, modern. You must stop in.

Decided to try something new and this cute spot did the trick, not terribly busy for a Saturday morning. Got in and got our order within a couple minutes. My spiced apple- latte didn't have much of an apple taste BUT very good at that. The blueberry muffin was just enough, not too big not too small and very delicious. The staff welcomed us, while maintaining their previous task and patient with us asking questions about menu items. Will be back to try new menu items

I liked the coffee here quite a bit and would definitely go here again. It's very aesthetically pleasing as well and water was provided for customer's to get themselves. The baristas were very nice and welcoming (also equally as aesthetically pleasing as the cafe itself). I also liked the location in general. The price was okay; it was more of what you would expect in our current economy. Yeah it was pricier but not outrageous by any stretch (again, within the context of our current economy).

A straightforward, non-nonsense coffee bar with plenty of seating. They do offer seasonal flavors and drinks, but otherwise have a fairly simple menu and offer a few pastries. Definitely a good option if you are looking for a quick hit of caffeine.

Delightful coffee shop. Don't order the Manhattan, yuck. But do order the Latte , it was spot on.

Canary Coffee Bar is a lovely place to work remotely in Milwaukee. It's located near to the Third Street Market Hall. They have plenty of outlets along the tables/seats along the edges of the space. They have plenty of seasonal drinks as well, which I always look out for when trying a new cafe. Canary has a unique tab system where you don't pay for your coffee right away--you pay when you leave. I've really enjoyed every drink that I've tried there, including a Honey Nut Cheerios-inspired coffee and a hot creme brulee latte to name a few.

Unfortunately, they were some of the blandest lattes I've had in a long time. Even my wife commented on how lackluster they were. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich with egg, sausage, and cheese. It was disappointing as well. The sausage patty was warm around the edges, but still cold in the middle, and the sandwich looked like it had simply been dropped into the to-go box without much care. Service: One staff member was handling the register, taking orders, and preparing the food, all while doing their best to keep up with customers. During that time, another employee was stocking shelves and organizing bags of coffee. From a customer's perspective, it seemed like helping with the line and food preparation would have been the higher priority. Atmosphere: This location definitely caters to a different clientele. Since it's part of the Public Market, you don't really get the traditional coffee shop experience that Anodyne is known for. We found a couple of chairs at a small table outside, which was a pleasant place to enjoy our drinks. This location just didn't live up to the experience I've had at Anodyne's other cafés. It's probably not one I'd plan to return to.
