Probably the best matcha It didn't taste like all milk but the coffee itself wasn't the greatest. Nice spot will be back for the matcha for sure

I've been following Blue Hour Coffee since they started doing pop up's, so I was super stoked to see they opened a brick and mortar! I ordered the ube matcha and the banana foster latte. Both were okay and around $9-$11 (it's extra for oat milk), I was a bit disappointed as the banana foster latte just tasted like regular coffee and the matcha wasn't the best matcha I've had, but it's good for Milwaukee. Staff were super friendly and the pastries were good!

Very stylish and clean space with one of those trendy Chicago-coffee-shop vibes - especially the line situation. Honestly haven't seen that kind of crowd for a Milwaukee café in years. I even mentioned it to one of the guys there, and he told me one of the main people behind the shop is actually from Chicago... which suddenly made perfect sense haha. Coffee-wise, everything was thoughtfully done. The staff was super friendly and genuinely passionate about drinks and coffee equipment. They use a La Marzocco setup and even have their own drip tower / Kyoto-style brewer for in-house cold brew, so equipment nerd in me = very happy. Drinks I tried: * Vanilla Latte (hot) - default 12 oz, which is honestly my perfect latte size. Smooth, balanced, comforting. * Banana Foster Latte (iced) - default 16 oz. Very smooth and well made, though a little sweet for my personal taste. But to be fair, it's clearly meant to be more of a dessert-style coffee drink, and it does that well. * Mont Blanc - Kyoto-style cold brew based drink that was super refreshing with a subtle hint of orange peel. Probably my favorite of the three. *Iced Sesame Matcha: hands down the best sesame matcha I've had (I frequent matcha shops in Chicago and Asia). Love the nutty / real black sesame flavor *iced Ube Matcha: an ice-cream like dessert drink but you can still taste the strong matcha. Highly recommend this one, too. Overall: good coffee, great matcha drinks, chilled vibes, thoughtful execution, and definitely a spot I'd come back to.

this cafe has such a cute interior space and a gorgeous outside! tried the black sesame matcha and blueberry matcha, both true to taste mildly just really really bummed on the fact that the drinks were $9 each and they batch their matcha concentrate into a squeeze bottle rather than hand whisk.

    Ube matcha.

Met the owner of the coffee shop and very busy man. Used to be a clothing facility for making clothes and photoshoot, but with the renovation it's a beautiful cute coffee shop. Had their Ube Matcha latte w/almondmild and it's delicious. Recommend checking them out if you're ever in Milwaukee, WI

Rode my bike from North Shore to Upper East Side to attend Blue Hour's grand opening day. They had a variety of lattes, teas and refreshers with different flavors: matcha, hibiscus, Ube, black sesame, etc. There was a really cool, diverse crowd that showed up to support. It gave LA / West Coast vibes, because it was a perfectly funny 77 degree day. I'm excited to get how this place evolves, but clearly they're on the right track. I could barely tell that they had just opened..very organized. Happy for the team at Unfinished Legacy!

I love sandwiches and knew I had to try the pastrami. It was fantastic. I've been trying to cut back on caffeine and I instead went with one of their refreshers on the menu. It was I believe and 'Blue and Grapefruit' - and that wasn't my favorite as someone who doesn't really care for grapefruit that much. I got it thinking it would be diluted a bit, SO, if you like grapefruit, I'm sure it's perfect for you. I also got a peanut butter oreo pie and wish I took a picture of it...but I devoured it too quick to even think about it. For me, that dessert was the definite highlight of the cafe. I'll definitely come back on more weekends when I have a craving for pastrami.

First time here. It was a cold morning, so I stopped in for a hot beverage and something to eat…read more Food: For not being a coffee shop, they have an extensive menu of hot and cold beverages. I ordered a London Fog Tea Latte, with a little lavender and a little vanilla, in a mug. The barista did a nice job and gave the tea a good long steep. It had excellent flavor, and the temperature was right (about 140°F). It would have been even better with a bit more foam on top. For bakery items, they had a big pile of large cookies (cowboy?), but not much else. The food menu is a little sparse but has some good options for breakfast or lunch sandwiches. I ordered a Cubano sandwich, which turned out to be an excellent choice. It came out hot, with nicely grilled bread and savory meats inside. The roasted pork was especially tender and flavorful. It came with a small container of slaw, which was a little uninspiring. Service: The person who took my order and made my drink did a nice job. She took her time and did a good job with the drink. I appreciated that they delivered both the drink and the food to the table. She was a bit soft-spoken and a little hard to hear with the music playing. Efficient, but not especially outgoing. Atmosphere: The space has a bit of an industrial minimalist feel. High ceilings with the mechanicals in plain sight, along with colorful paint and design elements. Seating can accommodate groups of different sizes, though there aren't too many spots ideal for couples. The space can be a bit echoey, and the volume of the music could make conversation challenging at times. It's a nice spot for groups to hang out, and there was a larger table where people were working and collaborating. A decent spot for hanging out at lunch or later in the afternoon.

I was in shock on how good the new items are where I had gotten 3 drinks from here and were all amazing! I would highly recommend the Mermaid Melody, it tasted so much like fruity pebbles and I couldn't stop drinking it. The service is amazing and the people working are very lovely and I liked how friendly they were since I didn't know what to order due to the rebrand and I asked on what would be good and got recommended the mermaid melody. The place is very affordable and the quality and how well made the drinks are genuinely shocked me since I could spend roughly $8 on a 24oz drink for it to be amazing and shock me big time with the options they have and customization for each drink. Highly recommend coming here and I will be going back frequently over this summer to the place with friends.

However they do have fast service which is great. There isn't much seating inside the cafe itself so this is definitely more of a take out place. I would still give this place a try as it does often help fix my boba cravings.
