It's basically a lumber yard for plastics, it's overwhelmingly interesting. I came here because I need to replace a window pane I accidentally broke refinishing a backdoor. My options were replace it with glass or use acrylic/plexiglass. I did my own research and decided to visit Industrial Plastic Supply to get a more in depth understanding of the materials. I showed up, parking was easy and the staff were more than helpful. Now this is why the review is so detailed: I went into the back where the materials are and I was greeted by Jeff. He asked me what I needed and I explained my situation. He helped me with showing me different thicknesses of plexiglass. And then I commenced with my questions about the material. How it performs with heat, if there's expansion based on temp change, durability, glass vs plexi, can it withstand uv rays for a prolonged period of time...yada yada. He welcomed every question, not once did I ever feel like I was getting brushed off with a mundane answer. He took the time to help me understand the material and he also told me "glass might be cheaper, I know a guy over at *****glass shop who can get you prices". So he offered me a solution that wasn't profitable to him or the business he represents. I asked a few more questions, he went and grabbed another piece of plexiglass. Told me I could take it, a scrap piece but it was enough for me to be able to take it home and visualize/check to see if it was something I was happy with over glass. A handful of days pass and I made up my mind. I went back to Industrial Plastic Supply, went into the back, was greeted and I asked if Jeff was in. Waited a few and he comes out, say our hellos and I asked him if there were any more scrap pieces that could be used for the size of the window panes I was going to replace (all 4 since). I showed him the piece he gave me, he asked me the size I needed and walked to the back. I waited a few minutes. Jeff comes walking back, material in hand. Hands it to me, all the pieces have been cut and that was that. Mind you all I asked was if there any other scrap pieces that I could purchase, with the intention of cutting them at home. He went through the trouble to have his guys find the pieces that would work, had them cut out to size and nonchalantly walked them over to me like it wasn't a big deal. This is customer service at its finest. He helped educate me on the product, he showed empathy for my screw up and he selflessly did a massive solid for me. These are the types of people and businesses we need to support and keep around. I would highly recommend going here for any and every plexiglass need you might have. They sell blocks, sheets, rod, transparent, opaque and just tons of plastic product it's pretty damn amazing as far materials options go. Jeff is a wonderful human being and I hope anyone that goes there, experiences what I did.

Subject: Ongoing Quality Issue with La Chapalita Tortillas…read moreHello, I am a loyal customer and business owner of Birriería Castellanos Taquizas Events, and I have been purchasing products from your store for over 4 years. I regularly buy La Chapalita tortillas from your location at 1265 N Kraemer Blvd, Anaheim. I'm reaching out because over the past 4 weeks, I've noticed a consistent decline in the quality of these tortillas. They are coming out hard and stiff, not soft and flexible like they used to be. When heated, they no longer have the same texture, which directly affects the quality of the tacos we serve to our customers. This is a serious concern for my business, as my customers have already started noticing the difference. I've continued buying from your store hoping the issue would improve, but unfortunately, it has remained the same. I would like to know: If you are aware of this issue If there has been any change in product handling, storage, or supplier batches And most importantly, if this problem will be resolved soon I value your store and prefer to continue buying from you, but I need consistency and quality to maintain my business standards. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Javier Birriería Castellanos Taquizas Events

Additionally, I wanted to also look into getting a better whisk, but I think I will make the wood what I have. And I knew I was gonna need a digital scale to help me through my sourdough journey now that I was gifted two sourdough starters--one from Italy and one from France (one of my clients was very giving & thoughtful). The price is range from $40-$85., whoa! Amazon has them for about $30. I will have to think about this.. Met Gonzo, yes, that's how he spelled it, a delightful & enlightened staff member who was very helpful with recommending which would be best. We could've had a whole conversation for a half a day! LoL. In the end, I decided to think about it before purchasing one (turns out later, best decision I made all day) My glass measuring cup is in storage & I find it cumbersome so I bought a lighter version (2 cup). Happy with my purchase. Hubby bought his item separately & let me roam the aisles. Highly recommend this store. Gonzo was instrumental in making me feel welcomed & appreciated to be shopping here, hence the 5 star. As I mentioned many times in the past, I greatly value customer service. It's what keeps me as a return customer

Listen to this…read more.. Chef Toys wants to charge a 30% restocking fee if a product has to be opened and taken out of the box. But if they sell you an item that THEY took out of the box and have had on display, they want you to pay full price while claiming the item is still "new." We placed an order over the weekend for about $4,000 and were told it would be ready to pick up by Monday. I got there around 12, and the order wasn't ready. Not a big deal--we waited. Then we found out that one of the items included in our order was the display fridge. We told them we wanted a brand-new fridge in a box. The employee kept stating that they "just took it out of the box," but in reality, that fridge has been sitting there on display for a long time. We asked for either a boxed fridge or a refund. The employee did not hesitate to state, "I will meet you at the front and give you your refund," without even trying to offer another alternative or find a solution. There were no customer service skills from the employees or Buster, the manager. The situation escalated pretty quickly, and Buster very rudely kept telling me to stop talking instead of trying to handle the situation professionally and understand why we were upset. We have been doing business with Chef Toys for a very long time, but today they lost a customer because of Buster and the way this situation was handled. I do want to acknowledge and thank the Director of Sales. He understood the situation and very calmly tried to find a solution. Unfortunately, by that point, it was already too late. He showed the professionalism and customer service that we should have received from the beginning. He should be hired as the manager instead.
