18 months, probably $200k, couldn't get the money back, cancer got worse... wouldn't recommend to anyone. Stay in your own city and do conventional and find some integrative therapies near by. Dr Con(Nealy) has no morals and raises prices at will for her therapies that didn't work. All of the staff has left multiple times over. Just FYI, we now live in a world where you can input your test results into tools like ChatGPT and receive clear, thorough explanations that many physicians don't even take the time to provide, especially for complex tests like the RGCC panel. So the idea that I need to pay for a separate visit just to understand my own lab results is outdated at best. And even if I did want your explanation, a simple blood draw plus one appointment does not justify a $10,000 charge under any circumstances. I have been a patient of Dr Connealy for almost 3 years and am very satisfied. I greatly appreciate Dr C's knowledge, professionalism and caring approach. Her staff are kind, thoughtful and busy - its a busy place! I have a difficult type of cancer, TNBC, and found i have genetic hemochromatosis and carry the BRCA1 gene. From the start of my Journey, Dr C has provided support and candid guidance. I finished my treatment early last year. I have been going to the clinic 1-2x/year. I noticed things going on in my body that did not feel right this year. The numbers, ratio's and markers Dr C suggested i watch started to change . My conventional Dr's (i travel from SC) have not been able to put it all together as they do not treat the whole person. It is frustrating-yet we are responsible for our own health. My hopes were really high, but at times hope and the reality of managing a large center end up crashing. Dr. Connealy is extremely knowledgeable and caring and as such she herself and the staff of nurses deserve a 5 star review. Unfortunately, the whole approach of using a number of different contracted practitioners results in what I call "the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing". Overworked and understaffed? Not my problem! Train your practitioners better and demand nothing but excellence! This is my expectation as a patient with cancer. In my specific case: 1) Many tests were re-done or duplicated upon my arrival even though prior to my first week I had submitted test results that were only 2 months old. Their policy clearly states they will accept test that are less than 6 months old. These tests furthermore were genetic analyses which do not change overnight or ever (for instance MTHFR evaluation). 2) There is no comprehensive and cohesive plan, but only a series of tests done by different practitioners often with questionable non scientific techniques, often resulting in conflicting results. For instance, I was first told to take certain supplements only to be told not to based on certain results, but then told again they are needed. There is no coherent plan or continuity of results between testing like live blood cell, f-scan, M.E.A.D. and Bio Immune testing. I would especially expect a certain degree of coherence between energetic tests such as M.E.A.D. and Bio Immune but no, completely different and baffling results. And, if indeed we are claiming that the BIO IMMUNE survey yields more precise results, then prescribe that and don't do the others. 3) In my case, the interpretation of results was not discussed with me during the appointment as most practitioners seem to be rushed and in a hurry to get to their next client. 4) I am completely on board with getting to the root cause of diseases. However, doing a piecemeal job with a ton of testing done by different practitioners with no medical training and not much experience and without proper interpretation and understanding is not what I was signing up for. It is the difference between information and wisdom. 5) Test results should never be posted in the portal without a patient talking to her doctor beforehand. Cancer can leave us very vulnerable and nervous around test results. Again, this is where wisdom and compassion should prevail. 6) I thought the center was supporting a metabolic approach as far as nutrition is concerned. For me, coming from years of possible insulin resistance, this means a ketogenic diet. Imagine my surprise when the nutritionist at the center suggested "a softer approach" including lentils and more carbs. Wow, anybody read the latest research? 7) I will continue to use the knowledge and expertise of Dr. Connealy for RGCC testing, QT and other relevant imaging. 8) I want to make sure people read this which is I think Dr. Connealy herself is competent and caring and so are the nurses which work very hard. Healing form cancer is a complex (not complicated) individual juggling act, requiring depth of knowledge and the ability to elegantly condense information into wisdom and practical useful advice. I strongly suggest an internal audit to clearly determine what is needed and what is not. Often less is more. read more

This is a followup to my review of a year ago (10/5/2022). We saw Dr. Connealy today to discuss my wife's test results. Her RGCC results continue to improve. Not a quick drastic change, but slow steady progress over the last few years. Her cancer markers were also really good. So, her health continues to get better by following the cancer protocol she was given at the Cancer Center. We are overjoyed! We were also so grateful for the time that Erika spent with us in the Perfectly Healthy Store. We had a good size order, but Erika took her time and answered all of our questions, and filled our order perfectly. All the ladies in the Store are simply wonderful. I am so proud of my wife for following the doctor's directions and doing what she can to help herself. There is no medicine made that can heal a person who is not willing to do the things necessary for good health. I realize that no business is perfect, and that people have different experiences at the Cancer Center. All I can say from our numerous visits is that I am very grateful for all the help and assistance we received. "Yes," it can get expensive, and "no," there are no guarantees. But, I also know that had my wife followed only the conventional doctors advise, there is no doubt our outcome would have been different. But my biggest "thanks" is to our Lord Jesus. We pray consistently for His grace and mercy in our lives, and He continues to come along side of us on this difficult journey. We know that we live in a broken and fallen world, and that bad things happen to good people--there are no guarantees at all. But our hearts are filled with gratitude for His healing touch on my wife's life. I've been a patient at Cancer Center for Healing for three years now, even though I live across the country ion the East Coast. I thank God that my intuition told me to choose this place when I was overwhelmed by options. They work with me very collaboratively and are responsive to my needs and questions. Also I've learned so much from the way they constantly educate their patients. Cancer is a challenging illness so it's great to find out what can be done at home to greatly assist healing, and to prevent future recurrences. I have been coming for treatments for breast cancer since early November 2024 and so far my experience has been that my doctor appointments are very thorough, they listen to you and spend time talking to you (they don't make you feel like a number) Dr Gamma is the doctor that I see and she has so much knowledge and is very caring. They focus on finding root causes to help the body be able to heal which I love. Vickie at the front desk is always so helpful with any question or need and always greets me with a welcoming smile and shows care with every person that walks in. The nurses are always hustling! The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is I think they might be short staffed on nurses for the IV's because I sometimes have to wait a bit after my appointment time to get started so it's more of 4.5 out of 5.. Other than that they are always very patient and working very hard to keep on schedule. Everyone that works there treats you with so much kindness and I always feel so well cared for while I'm there! Maybe they can sell you some supplements to help something They will send emails for further sales. I still ended up doing surgery , but had no chemo or radiation and the melanoma had shrank down to half its size by the time I went in and had it removed . This establishment is a complete and utter money pit. They take advantage of sick people in vulnerable state of mind. They recommend a number of expensive tests and then have the audacity to charge you more to have the results read to you. For example, We spent $1,700 on a cancer cell screener test and then once we received the results, was charged another $450 for the doctor to tell us what the results meant! That's just for the test, then to actually triage and address any issues, they try every which way to get you to buy every recommendation. They scare you to spend your money. One month of medication alone cost me over $1000. That was just 1 month! I have amazing insurance but it cannot be applied at this place. The actual center is a complete mess. Lacks the integrity and organization of a real doctors office or hospital. It's embarrassing the money the seemingly pull in from suckers like me and the product that you see. My doctors at the hospital tried to warn me against this place and how they take advantage of people and their hard earned money. I didn't listen and I am no better off attending the Cancer Center than I am seeing my surgeon and oncologist. Stay away! I could go on and on. They are predators for your money. read more

I am willing to take the long 2.5 hour round trip drive to see her given that she's so smart and willing to really explore your issues, recommend the right tests and figure out long term solutions even for the hardest to treat chronic cases. So happy to have found her. This place does not accept a lot of insurance policies, including mine. But nonetheless, I happily spend the money to see Heidi given the quality of treatment. I usually never write reviews, as i feel everyone deserves 2nd or 3rd chance. But today all limits were crossed by this clinic & the doctor there. My mom is suffering from Stage 4 cancer and we started treatment here in October 2018, the nurse on Monday January 14th called us to schedule for ATA Vaccine to be administered on the 16th January Wednesday. My mom is in severe pain but with so much effort we drove 1hour and half in rain to reach the clinic, sat there for 45 mins and finally nurse comes and tell us oh your vaccine is not here, come next week. What!! Why would you call us to schedule? Okay if you realized that vaccine is not here, who is suppose to inform us or call us to reschedule? Absolutely no courtesy or humanity for the patient who is suffering. Dr. Virginia Von Schaefer let me tell everyone about her, she is the most inhuman and rudest doctor i have ever met. So i told her that we got a call on Monday to schedule for the vaccine thats why we are here, Her reply " Oh its not here, i have to go" Really!!!? I dont know who gave her a degree to become a doctor, she should go take some classes in humanity and learn some empathy. She is total hoax. This clinic is a joke, we spent over $90K and was a total waste of money, with no improvement in the condition of my mother, infact her condition has gotten worse and is getting worse. I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in July 2019 and underwent a series of treatment at City of Hope. On the day my regular cystoscopy was clear. I received a breast cancer diagnosis. A friend recommended CCfor Healing, n Dr.Bita. I did have breast cancer removal & reconstruction surgery, but Dr.Bita prescribed a series of immune boosting procedures incl Vit C infusions and PEMF to do pre and post surgery. I am a new patient. Living in PA, I greatly appreciate CCH's offering zoom classes to mentally, physically, emotionally and educationally prepare my mindset and body before making a 2,800 mile trip to CCH. It is wonderful CCH gives one the opportunity to email one's nurse, nutritionist, supplement consultant and records person whenever needed. I look fwd to receiving testing before a plan is formulated to attack the cancer in my body. I've already begun changing my eating (sugar restricted) habits and being sure to exercise. Since 1999, we've taken our 2 dogs and cat to DVMs who also offer alternative therapies. Having experienced the miraculous benefits of their therapies on our pets, we ourselves now want the same for us! AKC pet insurance covers alternative therapies. Our AFLAC Cancer policy (which we've paid into since 2001) does NOT! For shame! Aflac cancer insurance covers only the conventional "standard of care", which our regular health insurance already covers! But in 2001, the Aflac Rep said this policy would cover what regular insurance does not. I trusted his words, rather than reading the policy's fine print. Big mistake, $8,300 later! CCH's 4 Pillar approach to cancer care weekly classes are invaluable! I am learning new things as well as getting to review things already covered. I greatly appreciate the support & encouragement from staff! I purchased Dr. Connealy's book and am in awe of how much information she is sharing with everyone! Driving to CCH will take us a week, but my husband and I plan to put our faith in the professional competence of Dr. Bita and her team of healthcare providers who empower patients to take control of their health. This is the first hospital who denies to give patients blood report to the patient.I had to call them more than 10 times just to get the report.They fear if the patient gets the report he might go to the different hospital.They are just concerned about keeping up the appointment because of the revenue they generate from people who are undergoing a life changing disease.I will never recommend this clinic to any one and BEWARE you will be forced to come continue with the appointment even if you have fever or you are sick. I would not send my worst enemy here. The staff are so kind and personable, however the center itself is chaotic and disorganized. It's definitely not a place you can come to rest & heal; the doctors here are way over scheduled and almost completely unavailable. Halfway through my treatment my doctor "discovered" pertinent information (that would've been helpful for speeding up healing & saved a lot of money) that she had missed about my diagnosis and the root cause upon my arrival (10 weeks earlier). The way the center is run is similar to an overcrowded bar. It's difficult to get the attention you need while in the center and I felt I was constantly pulling teeth to get someone to access my port, disconnect my port, get a new IV bag for me, etc. If you are looking for the best integrative care in the US I'm now at Dr. Stegall in Alpharetta, GA and would recommend him to ANYONE. Please do your research prior to moving across the country in hopes of healing here. We made a big mistake in doing so. read more

So grateful I was introduced to Cancer Center for Healing. A lump showed up in a random breast ultrasound and a friend referred me to CCFH. Dr. Connealy educated me on the RGCC test and we found I did have circulating tumor cells. After extensive testing I had a lot of red flags even though my biopsy technically came up negative. I am now on an RGCC protocol and am working to heal up underlying health issues to prevent this from becoming something worse. I'll start by saying that if my beautiful, 42 year old brother wasn't dead this review might not be written. But he is, it was brutal, and our entire family is very disappointed in the care he received at this cancer clinic. We used the review sites to make the most important decision of our lives in order to save his and we regret our choice. He was diagnosed in May 2021 with stage 4 colon cancer spread to his liver. He lived for 10 months, while spending his days 3-5 per week receiving every treatment offered to him from Dr. Connealy. We understood that this diagnosis had a low survival rate, so we don't blame them for his death. But we do blame them for the following major problems: 1-Disorganized with no captain of the ship. This practice is definitely underwater in terms of Doctors and staff to offer the personalized approach to cancer care that we expected when we decided on this high end out of pocket approach to cancer care. If we ever needed information, clarity or advice from a doctor it was slow and not very helpful. 2-Expensive: My brother paid close to 200K out of pocket with no insurance reimbursement. We made the decision to purchase these tests and treatment to save his life and because we thought he stood a better chance at an integrative clinic vs. a conventional hospital based cancer center. We are not convinced that at his stage you have better outcome opportunities here vs. City of Hope, UCLA etc. More honesty and transparency about Cancer Center for Healing actual healing outcomes would have been more about integrity and seemed like they cared about the patient vs. profit. 3-Low Emotional IQ: The worst time of all for our family was in my brothers final month or so and there was absolutely ZERO compassion or communication that he was dying and what we should expect. We had to make the call on when he needed home care, palliative and hospice. There was no advice from above. As soon as took a turn for the worse we had no communication from Connealy or her team. When we did interact with them, particularly her nurse Andy, we were treated with hostility when we asked for information or any clue of what was happening to him of any kind. They sell a "family, we're all in this together, we care about you" approach but from the top of the management chain they are sorely lacking in emotional IQ and compassion. I understand they see dying people everyday, but for their patients and their families there is only one person that exists and paying for this boutique service should provide more personnel and processes to make patients and family feel this way. Hear this Dr. Connealy, as Aslan lay dying in his last weeks he was deeply saddened by your absence, lack of phone calls, lack of emails, lack of empathy and abandonment when he was evidently deemed a last cause. I hope this review serves as necessary feedback for your clinic to DO BETTER. Hire more competent and compassionate human beings if you're overwhelmed. Take a profit cut and reinvest in your practice to make it somewhere that patients feel safe and cared for. The clinic was indeed pretty to look at, offered many of the most cutting edge treatment options and had a wonderful set of nurses on the floor. Dr Bita has been an incredible part of my healing journey. She spends much more time with me during my appointments than any other M.D. I've been with. She never seems rushed even though I know she is crazy busy. She explains every detail of my test results and treatment protocol to me while also respecting my questions and hesitations. God Bless Dr Bita Badakhshan! In 2009 I was diagnosed with indolent NHL and saw a 'traditional oncologist on a continuum. In 2016 the cancer got more aggressive and I underwent two rounds of immunotherapy - it didn't work. In July 2018 when the oncologist suggested chemotherapy I went to the Cancer Center for Healing in Irvine and met with Dr Bita. Over the past several months we have mapped out an integrative, non toxic protocol to attack my NHL. The testing done at the clinic looks at the entire person - vitamin/mineral deficiencies, vital organ function, immune system... A sensible supplement regimen was prescribed, along with healing therapies such as hyperbaric oxygen, high dose vitamin C, PEMF, hemostatic massage, etc. While I have always attempted to eat sensibly, the clinic nutritionist readily provided specific ideas and direction for an improved eating plan. I continued major scans with my 'traditional oncologist' for comparisons and consistency. Recently my oncologist ended our session saying: "I don't know whether it is the supplements or the therapies you are receiving...but... based on this recent CT Scan I don't need to see you for another four months..." The scan showed that many of my cancer cells were decreased in size and there were fewer of them. Two weeks earlier my bloodwork showed a sizeable reduction in my circulating cancer cells. The billing and insurance office doesn't appear to exist, unless it is to file a claim or charge your credit card. If you need help appealing or remedying an incorrect insurance charge code though, don't bother calling. I left what must have been 7 messages for their billing representative, and was never called back. I have been seeing Dr. Von Schaeffer since June 2018 for my cancer. I believe with all my heart Dr. Von Schaeffer saved my life. Conventional medicine is not for me, I chose the holistic/alternative route and I wouldn't change a thing about the care I have been given by Dr. V. I am a 23 year old with stage 4 cancer and am extremely grateful to find this amazing facility. I've been to numerous dr's both conventional and integrative, but this facility has impressed me the most. Dr. Connealy is an amazing person who is very knowledgeable and caring of her patients. I really like how the staff treats me as well. They are all very caring and they accommodate me as best as possible. The office manager Karla has gone above and beyond for me providing the best service. In fact her whole staff has been great to me and my family and I are very thankful. I did not make it far with the Irvine Cancer Center for Healing facility. I went to their facility with a breast lump. They botched my thermogram. One of their doctors (Dr. Kim) said something was wrong with it, but nobody ever followed up with me until I pushed the issue, and I ended up getting a refund. So my confidence in thermograms right now is zero. I also had an ultrasound done there. The day of the ultrasound, Dr. Kim said there is a malignancy there. However, when I got the ultrasound report over 3 weeks later, the report classified me as BiRads 0. I had a second ultrasound done elsewhere a few weeks later which classified me as BiRads 5, and resulted in a breast cancer diagnosis, which was confirmed by surgical removal of the growth. No definitive treatment plan was ever presented to me at the Center, and everything seemed to be a confused mess. I was only told potential treatments available on 3 different conference calls, which I paid for each time. I would call to discuss my case, and instead got some incoherent statements, nothing about my actual pathology, and then paid for a monologue extolling the virtues of the treatment center's options. The discussions with the physician were basically a lot of babbling and no concrete progress. In addition, I did not find compassion to be present. When I told Dr. Kim of my diagnosis, the comments were "oh that is the worst type, the prognosis is terrible." I was in shock. So unfortunately I will not be continuing with this facility. I applaud Dr. Connealy's attempts at an integrative facility and I wanted it to be the place for me. But as far as I am concerned, their practice is definitely sloppy and I cannot afford that while dealing with cancer. read more

I'm not going to reiterate what all the other 1 & 2 star reviews have to say because I'm in agreement with them. The few times I went here, I was always seen by a different doctor. It is chaotic & many times long waits. Maybe they need to hire more people? On a positive note, all the treatment options they offer to hopefully help get rid of your cancer is impressive. If you want to deal with your cancer in a holistic, integrative way, they have the treatment options. However, bottom line is....if you want to attempt to get rid of cancer holistically you better have a lot of $$$$, as insurance does not pick up holistic treatments. One Dr., won't mention names, charges $600 an hour for consult....that insurance doesn't cover....REALLY !! One issue with dealing with cancer is to try to eliminate stress from your life. Unless you have a money tree growing in your backyard, this center will stress you out! read more
