    Chicken pad Thai
    Aaron T.

Ordered a chicken pad thai to go from this business and it was ready for me sooner than the quoted 15 minutes, which was awesome. When I opened the container at home, I noticed that the noodles looked a little dry, which was odd because I don't live far from the restaurant. Regardless, the pad Thai was still pretty appetizing. Noodles had the usual chewy consistency, which I like, but the chicken was overcooked and a little hard.

Can-Coon Thai Restaurant is hands down one of the best Thai spots in the Bellflower area! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Some of my go-to dishes are the egg rolls, Thai beef jerky with sticky rice, grilled pork salad, yellow curry, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, veggie stir-fry, and the crispy pork with Chinese broccoli--seriously SO good. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better, love the atmosphere . I come here whenever I need comforting, soul-satisfying food. Truly a hidden gem and one of my all-time favorite local Thai restaurants. Highly underrated!

Absolutely loved this place. The food is SO GOOD!! service was great. I will becoming a regular here. Chill and zen like atmosphere inside, which I was surprised to feel as I approached the lot. I got the cashew nut and added shrimp with a side of rice- SO GOOD!! Also got the Thai iced tea- delish. My friends ordered pad Thai with tofu- delicious as well- and the catfish which was spicy! But great.

    chicken pad kee mao (mild)
    Emily L.

Ordered a mild spice chicken Pad Kee Mao for takeout, my order was ready within 5 minutes. Service was friendly. The noodles were pretty decent! Only thing is I wasn't expecting bean sprouts which definitely messed with the flavors for me. Also, felt like the portion was on the smaller side for $14. If you can handle spice, their mild is basically not spicy at all. Definitely would like to try out the rest of the menu!

Love this place, super clean and food is always fresh. Super nice service, very friendly. Feel free to ask for recommendations, their pad se-ew (73) is always delicious. We also love to start with the nam kao tod (13). It is an amazing crispy rice dish and great to share.

As a semi-frequent customer, I highly recommend this place for those that want to go outside of standard Thai dishes. They have 2 versions of papaya salads, while both are definitely delicious, I gravitate to the Laos version with raw crab. Another go to dish, Koi Koong, raw marinated shrimp. There's no dish description on the menu but there is a picture. Absolute yumminess. Another go to dish is the Yen Ta Fo soup. It's definitely different from the soups I've had. It was a pleasant introduction to new soups. A new dish, Chinese broccoli and crispy pork over rice. I don't typically order fried rice but something said, Order Me, so I did. No regrets at all. I thought the crispy pork would have a crunch with lingering sogginess, NOPE. The pork pieces were top tier lechon pieces. Every server during every visit has been 100% with their customer service. They have been patient and very helpful when trying to decide new dishes.

Found on Yelp, drove there for lunch and was worried at the parking lot. Looked sketch. Walked in and it was nice inside. Food was amazing, although portions were on the smaller size. I didn't mind because the taste was great! Only one person up front doing everything herself. So service was slow during lunchtime. Would definitely come back as I thoroughly enjoyed my pad thai and soup.

This is a hole in a wall Thai restaurant in the middle of Bellflower that just exceeded all my expectations. Their parking lot easily gets full, depending what time you go and if it's the weekend. The restaurant is very clean with beautiful decor. Service was top notch and food was absolutely fantastic! The Chinese broccoli with crispy pork is my absolute favorite! I've had it at different Thai restaurants before but this has been the best. My husband loved their Nuah Nam Tok salad. We'll be back!

Sai Eua Pork Sasusage def try it if you are ok with lemongrass all up on your grill

Place has great reviews, so was hyped up to try it. Did not disappoint. Its not the best authentic in LA, but def delicious. Better than what ive tried i my area. I had the Yellow Curry & Sai Eua(pork sausage). Bother were yummy, like i said not the best ever. But def yummy. Place is tucked in a small shopping center, prking was not bad for being noon work day lunch time. Staff was super friendly, made a positive impression being my first time here. Def coming back to try other items and the other curries.

    Chicken fried rice

We've only had take out from here several times. My favorite thing here is the crispy pork with Chinese broccoli over rice. My only complaint is that the pork amount seems to get smaller and smaller. My kids like the pad see ew and the crab fried rice. We've also had the chicken fried rice which was pretty good. The spicy noodles (drunken noodles) are hit or miss. Sometimes the noodles are too spicy and break apart. Other times it's fine. Overall I'd recommend Cancoon for take out

Delicious, authentic Thai food plus excellent customer service by the staff. The ambiance is totally unexpected as clean, casual and very comforting dinning experience. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Honestly, it's basically…read morethe same broth, the king version just loads it up with brisket, tendon, tripe, and meatballs, so think of it as a fully stacked boat noodle. The broth is the star here. It's rich, flavorful, slightly sweet with a tangy kick, pretty sure there's some tangerine going on in there. Just a heads up, even "mild spicy level" has a noticeable heat, so if you're sensitive to spice, don't try to be brave... go no spice. The meats were surprisingly good, tender, not chewy, which is where a lot of places mess up. Noodles came out hot, no complaints there. We also got mango sticky rice and this is where they really sealed the deal. Mango was perfectly in season, juicy, sweet, not that sad sour off-season stuff. Sticky rice was soft and actually tasted like it was made fresh, not reheated from yesterday. Waitress was attentive and nice. Place itself is small, clean, modern, very mom-and-pop but done right, not rundown. I will definitely come back.

I like how's there's more dressing as you get the taste of it in every bite. The dressing however was a little too fish forward for me and you don't get much acid. IMO, the fish sauce and lemon (acid) should balance each other out. They use big tomatoes cut into wedges (as opposed to cherry tomatoes which I normally have at other Thai restaurants), And they give a good amount of food. Chow Mein: my boyfriend ate this. He said it was okay. It looked pretty good to me. Thai ice tea: I ordered this with boba. And as I was drinking it, I don't know what was in it but it definitely was not boba. It was orange with a chewy texture. I checked the receipt and it clearly says BOBA.

First, the service was easily one of the best I've had in a long time. Our server was hilarious dropping dad jokes like, "We don't have Apple Pay, but we got Mango Pay." But beyond the jokes, he was so helpful, kind, and made us feel right at home. He guided us on how much food to order (saved us from over-ordering rice), gave honest recommendations, and knew the menu inside and out. That kind of service makes all the difference. Now the food. Let's go step by step: Soup: The Tom Kha soups were the stars of the show. We got both the chicken and the seafood versions, and let me tell you the seafood Tom Kha was the best I've ever had. Rich, creamy, and filled with every kind of seafood you could dream of shrimp, mussels, little octopus. It came in a beautifully lit serving bowl that kept it warm the whole time. I would come back just for that. Appetizers: We got "The Wow," which is basically a sampler platter of appetizers and it really was WOW. Great variety and perfect for sharing. Noodles: The Pad Kee Mao and Pad See Ew were both loaded with meat and veggies, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection. They tasted like someone's Thai grandma was in the kitchen making them with love. It was warm, comforting, and so satisfying. Orange Chicken: Crispy, flavorful, and not overly sweet. Mongolian Beef Stir-fry: Packed with flavor, juicy beef, fresh veggies. A hit! White Rice (large): One order was perfect for all six of us. The only thing I didn't love was the boba. It was a little overcooked for my taste. The Thai tea was good, but next time I'd skip the boba. That said the experience was so amazing I didn't even care. Ambiance: Cozy, not too loud, not too quiet. The restaurant is in a peaceful shopping center, and it had a welcoming vibe. Plus, they sell cute little trinkets and chili sauce nice touch! This place gave "first date magic" vibes , everything just clicked. The food, the service, the experience. I already can't wait to go back. Hidden gem doesn't even begin to describe it.
