My friend brought me here for my birthday. Very disappointing in many areas. We asked if we could make wooden wick candles like the ones shown on the Candle Castle instagram. They said no, they don't make wooden wick candles and that they use artificial intelligence to make up their instagram photos and videos, so the photos and videos are not real. We began the candle making process by putting on an apron, smelling the scents available and even though there were only four of us making candles, it was crowded trying to smell the few fragrances they had. The number of fragrances available was underwhelming and generic. Next a jar was chosen. The jars were all the same shape with the only difference being the color. The instructor showed us how to wick the jar and then pour wax and fragrances and stir the wax and fragrance and pour into the jar. The instructor didn't offer much help in blending fragrances together so we were left to our own to decide what would blend well together. After the candles cooled, for an extra charge, we sprinkled dried flowers and crystals on top of the wax. Overall the candles are too expensive for the product size and what you receive. The entire process took 1hour and 15 minutes. There was a lot of wasted time and the process is so elementary without much help. The entire class could have been wrapped up in 30 minutes. I was so looking forward to making my own candle but after this experience, we will not be back nor would I recommend. read more

I just took a class today and it was great. Our instructor Sunshine was FANTASTIC and made the class extra fun! The instructions were easy to follow and my candle turned out great. There were many nice fragrances and vessels to choose from which made it easy to personalize my candle. It was such a fun way to spend time with a friend. The space itself is super cute and there are many additional items for browsing and shopping. The location provided easy access to several places to grab coffee or food before/after the class.
