Really super nice staff! Very pleasant atmosphere! The waitress was perfectly attentive and so sweet! I came with my boyfriend, my sister, and her boyfriend. We got Brussel sprouts and calamari to start. I'm not usually a fan of calamari, but this was pretty good. The sprouts were simply amazing. I got a capra salad with anchovies. I opted for no cheese or dressing. It was absolutely delicious! My boyfriend got the Johnny Utah. It was sooo good! My sister and her boyfriend split the farmer's only. I tried some. Holy cow, it's great! The crust has good flavor, not that cardboard taste you get some places. The salad had fresh and plentiful ingredients. We didn't save room for dessert, but we will next time! Been so excited to visit the new Cane Rosso in Arlington. The one is Dallas is fantastic. Well, yesterday was the day! Had been thinking about their house-made pasta all morning long. Got a bit delayed in my visit because, like many of us, I got caught up in the coverage of the Coup at the Capitol. History was being made before my very eyes. Anyway, got to the restaurant at 2:15, there were no guests inside, just me. Just the way I like it with Covid and all out there. I ordered my tea, looked over the menu and noticed the TVs in the restaurant were all playing sports reruns. With all that was going on in the Capitol, I asked the manager if he would be kind enough to change the channel on the one TV playing in front of me to a news channel. He said that he had to leave it on sports. Maybe he didn't notice so I pointed out that I was the only customer in the restaurant. His response was "for now!", and refused to change the channel. Having worked in restaurants for some 45 years I know this "rule" came from the top but this is the hospitality business. The manager should have enough wiggle room to make a decision to accommodate his only guest, in a new restaurant during the Covid crisis which has devastated the industry. Thought about the manager's response for a bit and decided to leave and go to one of my old standbys, New Yorker Pizza and Pasta on Collins where I enjoyed a big bowl of pasta. Didn't have to ask about a news channel as they already had CNN on reporting all the latest from Washington. Got out for $15 as opposed to the $30 I would have spent at Cane Rosso. Get your meatballs together guys, these are tough times for restaurants. Won't be going back to the new place, can't get over how inhospitable they were to me on my very first visit. read more

Just an FYI, I ordered a Tito's shot (I never ask how much Tito's is bc it has always been reasonable-it was $9 and another $2 for neat come to find out) Over the course of the evening my friend and I had a total of 3. Imagine our surprise when the bill came. I questioned it and was told that's how they do it by the waiter. It just didn't seem right so I called back to talk to the manager and was told that asking for it neat means it's a 2oz pour. I ordered a shot on the rocks. The manager on the phone explained to me that the charge was correct even though I didn't order it that way then just sat there-he didn't apologize for the confusion or anything. So stopped here the other night with the wife. The dining room ewes hot as hell; turn on the ac please. My wife asked the waiter about the Italian wedge salad. I've had it when she was out of town. The waiter then proceeded to tell us how he found it heavy, he didn't like blue cheese, on and on. Uhh, guess what dorkdick, no one gives a shit that you don't like it. What is this entitlement gen z staff seems to think it's their restaurant or I'm coming to them for a review? Your job is to sell. The correct answer is "folks that love blue cheese love it!" I went ahead and ordered it. If you like blue cheese, the Italian wedge is one of the best salads you can find. It is addictive and my wife loved it as well. It's a big salad, has lots of smoky bacon, onions, a mountain of crumbled blue cheese, and a creamy Gorgonzola dressing. I told the waiter he should understand that it's a great product regardless if his tastes. The pulled pork pizza special he recommended was the worst pizza I've had at Cane Rosso. read more

Really enjoyed dinner last night and it was a recommendation from my wife's friend and let me tell y'all, it was really delicious. On a side note if you like German beer I recommend the Hung Jury Hefeweizen by Legal Draft Brewery that's in tap! We got a Pepperoni and Sausage Pizza and man the wood firing really gives the pizza a great flavor! We also got the Chicken Parm and I've yet to have any Chicken Parm so flavorful as that one in the area. We had the fried artichokes which were great, and two pizzas, the Roni One and the (something) Bastard. Both had good flavor, especially the Bastard pizza. My favorite part of the pizzas was the bacon marmalade and the basil. The negative was that the bottom of both pizzas were soggy and the crusts were a little burned. We have an Ooni Pizza Oven at home and make homemade pizzas twice a week and we do better at cooking them, but the flavors were great. They need to get a pizza cutter that doesn't roll, but cuts through the pizza across and maybe put less sauce or thicker sauce to avoid a soggy bottom and turn the pizza more often or pull it away from the fire. My husband and I drive a good 20 minutes to come here regularly, in spite of having numerous closer pizza options. The pizzas are unique and crisp-crusted and amaaaaazing, and also we cannot not get the brussels sprouts. And the Caesar salad is usually on our table as well. So we do it all sharing style. Price is fair and service is great. The food takes some time but that's how it should be since they're baking your pizza just for you, and that takes time, so be patient. ;) Don't forget the brussels sprouts :) read more

Underwhelming; not sure why this place gets so many good reviews. Domino's pizza would've been better, or go to mellow mushroom if you want to take it up a notch. We ordered the pbr and the prosciutto arugula pizza- idk why the toppings sit on top of the cheese. So for the pbr you lose all the toppings when trying to take a bite and someone was definitely counting the prosciutto pieces. The inside is incredibly loud - not sure what that's about. read more

First time here and it won't be the last. Arrived at 6 and the only seating available was outside and they don't have heaters. Apparently they take reservations. Wish I had known. We chose to wait for a seat at the bar. 5 minutes later a two seater table became available. Awesome! We had a very helpful server who was sweet and attentive. We started with the brussel sprouts. They are awesome. Then we split the honey bastard. Just the right amount of sweet and spicy. I do wish the crust was just a little thicker so you could pick it up easier. Then we made the crazy decision to have the S'mores calzone and the Zeppole. They are huge!! The zeppole was the only fail of the evening. Way to much cinnamon and not enough caramel sauce. Although our server did bring us more caramel to take home with the leftovers. The calzone was heaven. I can't wait to go back to try some of the other pizzas. read more

This review is not for the food itself. The food is delicious. . I ordered 4 pizzas online. Showed up in 35 minutes to pick it up. The order hadn't even been put in yet as he forgot. He said it would be 5-6 minutes. Mistakes Bally and I get that you still need to make it right. Sometimes I'm sorry is not enough. I am still sitting here 30 minutes later. No pizzas. The right thing to do would be to comp some pizza or at least give me a water while I waited. This was our first experience with Cane Rosso. We love that they took an old radiator repair shop and revitalized it. Our server was named Alesha, and she was fabulous! It's nice when a server is attentive without hovering. We scanned the QR code and pulled up the menu. So many different choices! We had to try the Margherita pizza (it's a classic, right?) and then took a chance on a Honey Bastard too. Best pizzas ever! The classic was amazing. The honey bastard was even better! Sweet, smoky, and spicy in all of the right ways. The bacon jam was absolutely perfect on this pizza. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. This place is all around great. Not your normal pizza joint, it's "authentic" In house everything mozzarella, sangria, crust made with four ingredients, heck even the oven is straight from Italy. I was lucky enough to get Lilly as a bartender and she walked through everything from apps to dessert. I'd give this place 6 stars if I could. The food was to die for.
