We placed an order for pick-up and the guy who took my order was really friendly over the phone. We've received incorrect orders in the past but had no issues this time. My side salad was really fresh and crisp. Our food was nice and hot. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs and then another one but made with Alfredo instead of read sauce. We could've used a little more sauce, it was just enough. I personally like when they pour the sauce over the meatballs too (sometimes they do that here this time they didn't). Their meatballs are awesome though. Everyone was friendly when we picked up our order too. Overall good experience. Wait was decent but this is where I had to draw the line. I had a waiter and she smelled our drinks because she didn't remember what each drink was that just disgusted me and my family. This is my first time ever leaving a review for a restaurant. Last week my boyfriend and I placed a take out order at Cannataro's. We ordered online and headed to the restaurant right on time for our pick up. It was a very busy night and the first thing I noticed is no covid-19 protocols were being fallowed. Waitresses were walking around and handling food with their masks pulled down, they are seating inside, and the pickup area was so crowded there was no possible way to social distance. I immediately felt uncomfortable and wanted to get my food and get out. After standing in a big crowd for about 5 minutes a waitress came around started asking people's names for take out orders. Then one by one she handed everyone their food but us. We waited about ten minutes then finally decided to check on our food again and we were told that our pizza had been lost and they were making a new one. We waited another 20 minutes and went to check with a different person on our pizza. She let us know our pizza was lost and they had to make a new one, meaning after 20 minutes they still had not began making us a new pizza. In total we waited almost an hour after our pickup time for our food. When the waitress brought us the food she was rude and just said "here" handed me my folded and bolted off. No apology, no "can I get you anything else", nothing. The worst part is we were starving so we decided to eat in the car. Our pizza was great, but the jalapeño dip and mozzarella sticks were ice cold because they didn't give us fresh ones and they sat there for an hour. A very locally cherished Italian-American restaurant. Lots of families here. The live wait list was very helpful. If you don't want to dine in, they even have a take out window just outside the main doors. Not traditionally Italian by any means, but still a good "bang for your buck" option. Plenty of saucy-milky options, so a bit heavy. Portions are on the very large end. I enjoyed my *Pasta with Shrimp* -- even though it sounded generic -- and there was a lot of pasta/ noodz for $15.99. Honestly, not a lot of shrimp, haha, but I still appreciated the garlic pink sauce that was used in this dish. It was probably the lightest sounding option available. This came with a side salad which was pretty basic with iceberg lettuce, a choice dressing, and a ton of grated cheese on top. I also ordered a *Bruschetta* which was rather buttery and extremely heavy with the oiled up fresh tomatoes, basil & garlic dip. With the complimentary bread they offer with your dinner here, this was a bit unnecessary, but I didn't know about it! read more

My husband and I came here for a Saturday date night. It's located in a plaza near the empanada place we've been meaning to try. This place is such a great family restaurant, "hole in the wall-ish" and I say that because it's pretty big on the inside. Seems like the type of place where regulars have been going for 20 years. I joined the waiting list on yelp just in case but didn't need it, we got there around 5:30pm (we are early birds) The hostess was very friendly and sat us right away. The server was also very friendly. The service is quick but in no way rushed. We ordered the cheesy garlic bread, shrimp fettuccine, spaghetti with meatballs and a 1/2 carafe of the house red. (first timers so we ordered our safe go-tos) I didn't know the entrees came with salad and complimentary garlic bread until the server was reading back our orders so the cheesy garlic bread was unnecessary but no regrets. Total for dinner came out to $50 which we were pleasantly surprised. I would absolutely put this in our date night rotation. The serving sizes are huge, the food is delicious, the house wine was totally enjoyable and the service was friendly. read more

Tried placing a catering order and they told me its a 48 hr advance notice, I have been been calling since yesterday Friday 5/14 and my order is for tomorrow 5/16...after numerous calls all I got was their voicemail. The chicken parm was unlike any I have ever had and not in a good way. Thechicken had a boiled chewy texture. The fettuccine Alfredo was extremely salty- so it went untouched after one bite. (My friend also tasted the sauce to confirm.) The lasagna was decent- not bad, not amazing. My friend ordered the gnocchi, which were NOT the light delicate balls of goodness they should be... but fortunately like the lasagna was still palatable. Lastly- to satiate my sweet tooth, I ordered the cannoli. Much to my disappointment, the filling had the most obscene texture and taste. Extremely grainy and off putting. This time, I notified the waitress- who proceeded to ask me if I'd ever had a cannoli, then took it away and said she would try it. She came back and confirmed she tried it and I was right, and they were going to make another one, which I declined. All in all, probably won't be coming back. If you intend to try this place, I'd definitely opt into using the waitlist function since we were seated very quickly. read more

We ordered Salmon Piccata and Linguini with Clam Sauce. Each meal came with a decent buttery slice of garlic bread. The salmon wasn't buttery soft, but it was still tender. Seasoning was great, plenty of capers and not too salty. It's nice to find an Italian restaurant that has more than just red sauce or alfredo, where the taste is more than just one note. Each pasta also came with either salad or soup. The salad had slices of white cheese, that adds a light flavor and breaks up the texture of the vegetables. The Italian dressing isn't too sour or pungent. As someone who usually dislikes cheese and vinegar, I found it well balanced and a delightful addition. To top it off, the price worked out to under $20 per person. For what I got, I found it well worth it. I'll definitely revisit when I'm in the area. read more

There were plenty of options to choose from, ranging from pasta dishes, salad, soups, and even pizzas which they make from scratch! We ended up ordering the chicken marsala, shrimp scampi, and linguine carbonara. Everything we ordered tasted great and I will most definitely be coming back here to try different dishes. They also serve you a complimentary basket of their garlic bread, which is to die for!! You will not be disappointed. A few online friends recommended this place when I asked for a recommendation for a local Italian restaurant. I decided to give it a try today. When we arrived, there was no wait although I heard that it does get really packed there during rush hours. We got sat right away. They start you off with some warm and delicious garlic bread. Ask for the marinara sauce! so good. We gave the shrimp scampi and cannelloni supremo a try. The shrimp scampi is delicious. Not too salty and not too bland. On the other hand, the cannelloni supremo..it was good the first few bites but then you get tired of it real fast due to the overload amount of sauce. Personally I think it was too creamy. But some people might like it. It just wasn't for us. The service was great and we will definitely be back to try something else on the menu ! read more

Wow this place is a hidden Gem. I've been searching for angood Italian restaurant around my area I always drive out to johnny carinos, but not anymore! This place has good food and great prices! It's a small little place hidden in the back of the shopping center, it's also pretty small inside But it has a nice atmosphere and the servers are very friendly. They serve you free garlic bread at the table which it pretty good as well. We got the carbonara and baked ziti, both were served on huge plates & came with a soup or salad. The flavors were powerful and kept you eating more and more even tho we were full. I would totally come back to this place! Friendly serves and good food always make going to dinner more enjoyable. The only problem was adding shrimp to an anything costs $6.00. That's just a little to pricy for me! Enjoy your next meal here it's great! read more
