While exploring the town we stopped at Canon Beach bakery. We got a Spinach quiche, Ham & Cheese quiche, and Coconut Macaroons. We liked the Macaroon, both our quiche's were good. We came back the next day to get their sandwiches and the display cases had flies inside them. When I pointed it out to the lady helping us, she just ignored it saying it's not an issue. I don't want items flies have been on. That out us off this place.

Near the North end of the main strip Hemlock, this bakery looks like it might have some great bread and goodies. The staff were friendly and quick to take our order. I ordered the breakfast sandwich needed something not so sweet. I'm pretty sure it's premade and microwaved, meh. It hit the spot before a day on the beach, but I wouldn't get it again. Latte was decent, but there are better spots in town. I would try a loaf of bread next time though!

Popped in at 7 am when they opened and literally tried everything the reviews sold me on. Sailor Jacks Almond claw Marrionberry scone And had them throw in an apple cider old fashion. The donut itself was good, however no apple flavor. Yummy start to the morning!

10/10 -- I absolutely love coming here every time we visit the beach. The atmosphere is always so cozy and relaxing. This trip, I decided to try the seasonal coffee -- an eggnog latte -- and it was made to absolute perfection. My mom, who's visiting from the East Coast, had never heard of a marionberry before, so I asked the staff if they could explain it. They were incredibly kind and helpful, and we ended up getting her a marionberry treat. It was absolutely delicious and such a fun introduction to a local favorite! Cannon Beach Bakery always delivers an exceptional experience, both in quality and hospitality. Highly recommend stopping by!

We were on our way to Rockaway Beach for the week. We stopped to get a good look at the Haystack Rock and stopped for some warm coffee and a pastry. We were greeted as we entered and quickly helped with our order. The Marion berry Scone and Bear Claw were delicious. We only picked at them, trying to save for breakfast.

Tried the $6 Marionberry Crumble. Which was good. The famous berry has a longer lasting flavor and a deep flavor. The Crumble pastry also was top notch.

Cute place. Very disappointing apple fritter....less fritter, more of an apple bread - pretty dense/heavy. Apple cider donut, however, was great and crispy.

Food was overpriced and the service was lackluster. It'll do in a pinch when all the other breakfast/brunch spots have long wait times.

I had the best Bismarck in decades. Amazingly light donut and a very generous amount of custard. The service was good as well.

They no longer post the prices of any of their drinks or baked goods. Who does that? Place has gone down hill. A good place to pass on.

Grocery store quality pastries at a premium price. A tourist destination that I would not recommend.

The walk-in beer cooler is accessible from both sides of the store and the selection of beer, cider, and wine was extraordinary! They had a variety of local and non-local, and all price points so you definitely have options depending on your mood. There were a ton of produce and fresh food options that I saw as well, even though we didn't purchase anything from those. I never caught the cashier's name, but she was a shorter, dark haired lady and was so so nice! She talked to me about my wine option and reassured my choice was a good one! Definitely recommend stopping here whether you're passing through, camping, or enjoying a beach getaway!

I appreciate having an occasional glass of wine, and expect that it's difficult to find a quality wine selection in a small town that probably depends very heavily upon the tourist trade. Frankly, most towns known for heavy tourist traffic usually don't do well when it comes to what they stock in wines -- they usually aren't that impressive. I was truly shocked to see an excellent selection of highly-rated wines, especially for domestic Cabernet Sauvignon. If you enjoy having an excellent wine, this is the place to find it.

Come prepared with three things: cash, an appetite, and a little patience. They don't take reservations--you simply write your name on the waiting list and relax while you wait. Trust me, it's worth every minute. We waited about 25 minutes, and after eating here, we understood exactly why there's always a line. In fact, we loved it so much that we came back two mornings in a row! The warm marionberry scones, fresh from the oven, are absolutely unforgettable. They're easily twice the size of a traditional scone, making them perfect for sharing, and every bite is buttery, tender, and bursting with sweet marionberries. I ordered the mushroom and Tillamook cheddar omelet with breakfast potatoes, and it was outstanding. The mushrooms were perfectly sautéed, the Tillamook cheddar was rich, fresh, and flavorful, and the potatoes tasted like they had been prepared that very morning before being crisped to perfection when ordered. Every bite tasted homemade. Our waitress had customer service down to a science--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The restaurant itself is wonderfully cozy, with just a handful of tables upstairs and additional seating downstairs. That intimate atmosphere means your food arrives incredibly fast. Ours was piping hot and on the table within just a few minutes of ordering. One thing to know before you go--they're cash only. Honestly, I can appreciate that. In a busy tourist town where credit card fraud is an unfortunate reality, it's a simple system that clearly works well for them. If you're looking for an unforgettable breakfast, brunch, or lunch, The Lazy Susan absolutely belongs on your list. Just when we thought the experience couldn't get any better, our waitress casually asked if we'd like dessert. I laughed and said, "You have desserts?" She pointed to the homemade dessert menu, and we couldn't resist taking home a slice of the chocolate silk pie and the peanut butter pie AND Oh my heavens....Each was incredibly rich and velvety--almost like an indulgent cheesecake--with homemade flavor in every bite. They became the perfect mid-afternoon treat, and now I already have an excuse to come back because I can't wait to work my way through the rest of the dessert menu. Some restaurants are worth visiting... The Lazy Susan is worth planning your trip around!
