Plus it was my Tony's (my little fur boy's) birthday yesterday. So, I am finally posting it. Even though it was a very sad day (of having to let go of our kitty), I have to say that this was an amazing clinic with an amazing staff and an incredibly humane and knowledgeable doctor. I was sooooo lucky to get her at the last moment. We've been referred by a good friend, and we called in and despite their busy schedule, they were kind enough to take us in with the last minute appointment, because our cat was in a very bad condition and our previous vet could not determine much. Jennifer was the one who answered the phone and she's been an angel from the moment we spoke to her on the phone to the moment we left the office. What a kind, compassionate human being! I don't have enough good things to say about the Doctor P who was so intelligent, experienced and did not BS around giving us false hopes or torturing our cat with extra tests/procedures (and pain and suffering along with it) to prolong his life. In a very delicate way, she confirmed what we've been suspecting for a while now and made this decision a little easier to make, even though it's never easy, no matter how ready you think you are. Anyway, the whole staff was really cool, the ones doing paperwork and also a very kind girl who was there during the final injections. In the difficult times like this, it is very important to have this kind of clinics working...

Out of nowhere, they recommended that my puppy gets a vaccine booster shot. On the basis of recommendation, we went ahead with the booster but the this office made a error in reading all the documents I provided (they did take all the coduments and made copies of them). My puppy didn't need to have another booster for a year. Spent money on unnecessary procedure and I felt so guilty for putting my puppy through a shot he didn't need. On top of that, they asked me to come back in a month later for ANOTHER BOOSTER SHOT!! They are very eager to schedule your next appointments but wasn't competent to take proper care of my puppy.

To get you in, they will promise fast response times when you need vet service which is not true. We paid $700+ for an exam for 2 dogs, and was promised if we need anything we are a few miles away from HQ and they can stop by or send a tech if we have a time sensitive concern. This is a lie, it has been 2 years since my exam and I contact them a number of times to which they were never available. I request my exam fee back since the exam is so they can come see you if you need them quickly... They never had availability or responded in a timely manner. Based on these reviews, they do not fix their mistakes, they gaslight you and then threaten legal on you. I am going to the news and know there are others out there bases on their reviews. Lily was anxious, nippy, unkempt (the groomer didn't want anything to do with her), and dealing with infections from constant chewing. From the first visit, everything changed. Lily went calmly into their arms and nearly fell asleep on the exam table. Dr. Rosen is incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a clear, effective plan to address Lily's anxiety, hot spots, incontinence, and overall comfort. The office is clean, responsive, and easy to work with. They reply quickly, send prescription links, and even help with price comparisons. Most importantly, they gave us hope. As Lily improved, so did our entire household. Highly recommend. Photos: before and after.

This rescue reached out to me for help - I recommended we look at certain vet hospitals, but the rescue really wanted to save money, so they found this corporate vet clinic (ooof) The receptionists were nice, the facility was nice, but the moment the Dr realized I was a behavior specialists who uses equipment without a college degree (sorry ive had 4 mentors - dont need it ;P), she got very very very passive aggressive and pretentious Implying that she was advocating for the dog and that I was not Implying that I was uneducated And trying to convince the rescue's sponsor, to find another dog trainer -- like lady I've saved so many of their dogs --- are you insane?? We are going to pick one of the 4 local vet clinics that refer to me instead of VCA Parkwood even though theyre more expensive than Parkwood -- simply because of Dr Landa's unwarranted, unrequested, and passive aggressive behavior I know she's a new Dr there, but she should still be reprimanded Vets are no trained in behavior or nutrition, please stay in your own lane next time, and observe how you talk to your clients -- bedside manner encompasses more than just how we talk to the canine client - its how you also work the human component that matters - and she needs education on that .5/10 would fire her if she was one of my apprentices, but whatever not my business.

Mike asked for a few pictures of Dakota (which of course we have tons of) and asked us some questions about her behavior. Of course we gushed about our little princess! We had a meet & greet and I was able to meet his family during the process. My dog was very comfortable with them, and they are definitely dog people which is a major prerequisite for us. We were able to pay the deposit via Venmo (super simple for those of us who don't really carry cash around and hate credit cards). Mike sent us pictures of our little sweetheart on a daily basis, which REALLY helps keep our mind at ease while i'm on the road or we're both slammed with client meetings. On top of all that, he was very professional which is a huge plus. We had a great experience with Muttserati, it's a very reasonable price for what they offer, they have phenomenal service and of course our Dakota had a great time! We will be back!!!

The last thing you want when your fur baby is suffering is to reach voicemail after voicemail. Hearing a compassionate human voice on the other end of the phone brought me so much comfort. She came to my home first thing the next morning. I was worried about my younger Golden Retriever jumping on her or interfering with her care, but she was absolutely wonderful with both of my dogs. She encouraged him to stay in the room with us once he was comfortable with her, and I truly believe that helped him understand what was happening. She was incredibly professional, but I'll never forget one small moment. Out of the corner of my eye, while I was saying my final words and paying my last tributes to my girl, I saw her quietly wiping tears from her eyes. As a healthcare provider myself, I know how often we're expected to wear a mask and stay composed. Seeing that genuine emotion didn't make her seem less professional, it reassured me that she truly cared. In those final moments, your mind races. You question whether you're making the right decision. Seeing her emotion gave me peace because I knew she wasn't simply going through the motions. I knew that if she believed my girl wasn't ready, she would have told me. Most of us are fortunate enough to experience this kind of heartbreak only a few times in our lives. She carries families through it over and over again. That takes an incredible amount of compassion. Thank you for your kindness, your empathy, and for helping my sweet Lilo leave this world peacefully and with dignity. Please take care of yourself, too. The first photo is the day Oliver met Lilo as a puppy, their first photo together. The second was taken just before the veterinarian arrived to help Lilo pass. I didn't realize until later that I had unknowingly captured both the beginning and the end of their story together I will miss my Lilo for eternity.

This is not my first review of our beloved Dr G, and I just recommended her to 6 more people again just these past 2 weeks. I always say to people I give her card to: "you will discover she is an Earth Angel - if she moved to a different town, I'd take my pup there... When you find a great vet, they are Gold! She's not only compassionate, present and knowledgeable, but also she does not oversell." Besides all the regular check ups, Dr G. has performed 2 substantial surgeries on my pup in the last 8 years, and has been extremely kind, providing valuable reassuring step-by-step updates throughout, especially aware that I had lost my beloved first dog, (with a different vet), when he did not make it through the anesthesia... In the 8 years Dr G. has been our one and only vet; everyone I have sent to Dr G. has fallen in love with her, and has thanked me for the referral. I trusted Dr G and her small compassionate team with the euthanasia of my precious second dog, Handsome. She is truly an Angel on Earth. At her Chatsworth location, I love that she's created a lovingly cozy "home environment" for the euthanasia experience. That it so needed during that deeply emotional time, and more veterinary offices ought to follow her example. I found her many years ago when I was dissatisfied with a busy veterinary front desk in Sherman Oaks, after they had made errors in my first dog's chart. Unfortunately he passed, and I learned that finding the RIGHT professional truly makes ALL the difference. So yes, I drive from Sherman Oaks. Gratefully so :) I am thankful that my cherished pups are her patients. Her ethics, her care, her kindness, her knowledge, her integrity - she's our number 1!!!
