This is a "Wow" place for Mexican food in the Dallas and Fort Worth area. They excel on Food and Service every time I have visited them, whether it be for lunch or dinner, or even just drinks. On this particular visit with it being Friday during Lent, I opted to keep my order in the no meat and fish area, which was a first for me, since I normally order their combination fajitas, which are amazing. Friday's lunch consisted of guacamole, queso and chips, and their grilled salmon, which came with grilled asparagus, rice and beans. It was amazing and tasted so good I will get it next time whether it is Friday during Lent or not! Our service was on point as well. We often start with the Queso Blanco, a white cheese amped up with poblanos, spinnach, and artichokes. It's sharable and the accompanying tortialla chips are always warm and fresh. For mains, I like the relleno de camorones, served open face without breading; it's one of my favorite in the area, and as you can see from the picture, is visually stunning. The carnitas, actually braised pork shanks topped with chipotle-wine sauce is another favorite - an incredibly rich dish. They've also got some Tex-Mex favorites, but I never bother with them. We were here a few hours ago and have not shut up about it since. One of the best Mexican food places we've ever gone to in the Dallas area. The place is very nice both on the outside and inside. We had a feeling it was gonna be good from the wood-firey smell we noticed while walking in. Inside was clean and elegant. The service is also excellent. We were seated right away, and our waitress constantly checked on us and made sure we had what we needed. All staff were very kind and friendly. They start you off with corn chips and salsa, which tastes really fresh. We got the pescado tacos and combo fajitas. The fajitas tasted grilled and flavorful, and honestly that plate alone could probably feed 2 people. Tacos were great too. Had my retirement party at Cantina Laredo in Addison tonight. Great evening until I checked out. Almost $800, which I expected. Their machine declined every card I gave them. 3 different banks. Not a single alert from any of the card providers. Called the card providers and was told, no problem, the issue is with the merchant. The manager did nothing to try to solve the problem. The manager treated me like dirt. I went home, came back with cash, paid, and not a single word from their manager. Done. Won't be back. Adios. read more

Great spot with a very low wait time for dinner tonight. The service was amazing and the food was impeccable. As a continuous customer of Cantina Laredo at the Frisco location, I would say the food is okay. Ordered an Avocado enchilada which was good, hard to mess up. However it was only warm and not hot which I would expect from paying a bit more for Tex-Mex. I also ordered a Pescado(Fish) Tacos which wasn't that great. The fish wasn't as juicy and the garnish had no flavor. The food again was only warm, not hot. This is a specialty dish by the way. As my dessert, it was the Apple Pie. It was really good with its Cinnamon ice cream and pie. Highly recommend to try this if you are here. Summary- The food is good but not to the same par as the Frisco location. First time trying this restaurant . Ordering on line was easy. Food was ready for pick up in 20 minutes. Curbside delivery was friendly. Snuck a few nacho chips on the 3 minute ride home. They were delicious. Everything looked fresh . I ordered carne asada, premium guacamole and queso dip. The guacamole and queso were delicious. The asada came with rice, black beans and it was covered with chimichurri. Steakvwaa tender and juicy. Beans and rice lacked seasoning. I added some of the salsa that came with my order. I went here and ordered two different things in the same week. Both times, my food was excellent, and I had the same wonderful server, a woman named Yeri. She was very on point, attentive and friendly. I had the vegetarian enchiladas and also the spinach enchiladas, and both were fantastic. This was my last minute Mother's day brunch spot. I tried a few other places that had 1 hour waits which I just didn't feel like dealing with. I headed to Addison and ran across this location tucked away and kind of out of sight. There was no wait and the place was really only about half full. We were waited on by Fernando and he was just great. The limited Sunday brunch comes with a complimentary mimosa or bloody Mary. I had the pollo chipotle which was very good and it came with steamed veggies. I was very happy with the food and service. I don't recall any of my drinks or chips and salsa ever being more then half empty before it was replaced. This location was actually the best of the franchise locations in this area. I will definitely go back because they don't seem to be as busy as other locations. I also had the top shelf guacamole which is always pretty darn good. This place was way down on my list of Mother's day spots but I'm really happy that I wound up here. I normally overlook this place but there are a few noteworthy items on the menu and I know the Sunday brunch is pretty good. The chicken selections are also very good and always very tasty. The top shelf guacamole was not made tableside and it was not very good - certainly not what were used to. We did some appetizers and one of our favorites has always been the ahi tacos. I don't know what they did or how they changed it, but I've been eating those tacos for a couple of years and we both thought that they tasted weird and not right. I had never been to Cantina Laredo, but won a dinner for two, along with free queso. It was DELICIOUS! Our waiter was amazing as well! The salsa was so yummy, it will keep me coming back for more. My company is getting ready to have our Holiday party here this weekend. Me and a coworker have been meeting with the manager, Rambo. Great guy. He is definitely about customer happiness and I appreciate him for this. We actually sat down the last time we were here to sample what we would be serving our employees. My God was EVERYTHING good.
