We walked into Cantina Louie and were seated right away. Our waiter came over immediately with chips and salsa, took our drink order, and brought everything out quickly. The salsa was SO good fresh, flavorful, and paired with some of the best chips I've had in a while. Not long after we ordered, our son's kids meal came out super fast. He said his quesadilla was really good cheesy and full of flavor and he loved the beans and rice too. I didn't even get a picture because he started eating it right away. I ordered the birria tacos and they were delicious loaded with meat and cheese and packed with flavor. The pickled onions added the perfect touch, and the avocado sauce really brought it all together. I'd absolutely recommend this dish. My husband got the steak and chicken fajitas, and they were full of flavor with huge portions on the side. He was definitely happy with his choice. Our waiter was super attentive and kept checking in on us and our drinks throughout the meal. He even gave us chips and salsa to go, which was a huge plus. Been quite a few times with my coworker and we recently went here this past Sunday. I ordered the taco quesabirria and I looove it! That's my favorite to order from here. I'm going to start this review out by discussing the outstanding service we received from Matthew. We were a party of nine and I have to say Matthew truly deserves 10 stars for his demonstrated customer centered skills! His recommendation of menu items was spot on and his service is beyond reproach. Matthew is a true role model for the team! The food was excellent and I have to say I was literally shocked at how quickly it came out, hot and fresh. I had the burrito which was huge so I have enough for leftovers. The guacamole was fresh & outstanding as well as the street corn! There are not enough euphemisms to say how great everything was! I love the interior for its rich in the culture of honoring those who have gone before us. The bright colors and the ambience is outstanding. Great spot for a big group! I was asked to choose a place for dinner for some new work colleagues and decided on Cantina Louie..... I absolutely made the right choice! The waitress was super attentive and made great suggestions. The food was good and there was something for everyone! The service here is amazing! Really liked the decor, it's very fun, uplifting and traditional Mexican. The food was equally great. Had the taquitos as an appetizer and to my surprise it was 1/2 off (guessing during happy hour). Also enjoyed a normal margarita and carne asada taco to gauge authenticity. Our only complaint was that two of the servers (including ours) were wearing 'crop tops'. It appeared that they had taken the Cantina Louie t-shirts and cut them, revealing their mid-sections. Nice dinner experience with family. I ordered the chicken chimichanga and it was absolutely delicious--flavorful and beautifully plated. I paired it with a Mango Margarita. I've frequented several locations over the past decade and used to really enjoy it; however, I've felt as though the quality has declined over the past several years as the food would come out exceedingly quickly (within a matter of minutes) but be cold, which led me to believe it was not prepared fresh. However, my boyfriend and I stopped by at about 7:30 on a Saturday night and were promptly seated. We ordered queso and 2 margaritas, both of which were good and came quickly. The waitress also promptly refilled our chip basket when we were out. My boyfriend ordered the carne asada and I ordered a birria burrito bowl. The carne asada was good but I did notice the steak was quite thin and other restaurants usually provide more meat. The birria bowl was great, the meat was juicy and tender. All in all, the meal was good and hot (my biggest gripe with the cantina Louie chains). read more

So my company and I go here often when we have invoicing to figure out or celebrations. The food (reasonably priced!!) is always hot, seasoned and delicious! However the staff are why we continue to come by. Amyiah really hit it with the drinks. She has a good and steady hand to make consistent delicious drinks! Sermon's service as wait staff is always on time. He knows when to be there and when you don't need anything. A true show of effort and understanding for those he helps. Jose cleaned everything that needed to go. He stopped by to take care of things as they were needed, and was super great to just speak to. It's a true place, with real people who are just like you and me. There are many others I did not mention, all staff have always been the best part of the experience. This was probably the 15th time we've been to this Cantina Louie (my fiancé and I). The degrees of service may vary depending on whether they're short-staffed or not, but we've generally had a great time each time. I normally order the same item every time - the Pollo Relleno. It's always been a hit out of the park for me, and since I don't eat refried beans, I ask them to substitute it with extra rice instead, which they're always happy to oblige. This time, I ordered the Carnitas entree, and while I wish it sat in a broth or something else to be slightly less dry, it was still a flavorful option with a generous portion size. My experience at this location can vary greatly on the time of day and where I'm sitting in the restaurant. I often find that sitting inside for dinner, my service is usually top notch. Quick Drink refills, side swap accommodations on certain menu items and just an overall pleasant experience. Eating outside or dining in for lunch can be a real hit or miss experience. Lunch always seems to be short-staffed in some way, so you may not get the best service, or maybe your wait staff didn't hear you ask for double rice instead of refied beans with your entree. Nothing that would keep me from coming back, but minor annoyances that nag at the overall experience. The food is decent and matches well with the price, especially on days with specials. Dining in, Taco Tuesdays feature $2.99 tacos (Normally $4.99) and each day has a different drink special. The chips and salsa is complimentary unlike some other nearby establishments. The salsa is good but does run more liquid than chunky, which can be a bigger hit or miss depending on your preference. I strongly caution anyone considering this Cantina Louie location. We came in with a large group that they knew about well in advance, yet the service was an absolute disaster. Initial drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive. Refills took 25+ minutes -- completely unacceptable. Appetizer plates didn't arrive until 15 minutes after the food was served, so we were left trying to figure out how to eat without plates. They were reluctant to even take our food order to begin with, which was baffling considering the restaurant was nearly empty. To make matters worse, two of our dishes came out with hair in the food. When we brought this up, there was no real apology or attempt to make things right. And the final insult: Keith, the manager, blamed us for the poor service, saying it was because we were a large group -- despite the fact that they knew we were coming and the restaurant was nowhere near full. He was hostile, confrontational, and completely unprofessional. I love the Nocatee Cantina Louie, but after this experience and seeing similar complaints about this manager in other reviews here and on Yelp, I'm honestly not sure I want to support this brand anymore if they continue to allow this type of leadership to represent them. Avoid this location. There are far better options in the area where customers are actually treated with respect. read more

My husband and I stumbled on this place late evening following a scary medical appointment. We expected indifferent food to give us energy for our long drive home. What we found was amazing, delicious and reasonably priced. Ingredients were clearly fresh and prepared from scratch. His expectations were low but his opinion was definitely not after he stuffed himself on tender chicken and well seasoned peppers, zucchini, and onions. If I didn't already like avocado, these enchiladas would have made me adore them. Both my choices were luscious and oozing flavor but the off-the-cob street corn w queso fresco, cilantro, and lime juice was so good AND plentiful enough almost to make an entrée all by itself. Service was offered chearfuly as well as promptly by capable hands. All in all. It was a very pleasant surprise for two weary travelers. Came here for Cantina Louie's 10th anniversary. It wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be so we didn't have to wait long to be seated. The service was great- the food came out SO FAST. I had 2 chimi chimi bang bang (?) tacos- one with flour tortilla and one with corn tortilla and ended up liking the corn tortilla more. The salsa was good and the queso was good as well, but neither were anything to write home about. I wasn't necessarily disappointed though. I ordered the flan for dessert and it was delicious! My fiancé and I had Cantina Louie for lunch today. I got two grouper tacos - hangover style which is cheese in between a hard shell and a tortilla. They tasted really good, however the hard shell was kinda stale and the fish was pretty dry but the flavor was there for sure. My fiancé got three mahi tacos also hangover style, he felt like they tasted okay but his taco shell was also stale. My favorite part was definitely the Paloma Drink, it was 15$ but you got to take the mug home which i thought was pretty cool!
