The best Chinese takeout I've had in Maine! The sesame chicken is rich and saucy with a good crunch to the chicken - not chewy at all. The wonton egg drop soup is savory and the wontons are huge. The chicken fingers are a little chewy but that seems typical for takeout - I think the containers tend to steam them. There was a good amount of pork in the pork fried rice. I recently ordered from the Canton pearl A D4 combo meal. They come with the 4 chicken fingers A egg roll An a few pork ribs in pork fried rice. This is my 5th bad meal there. I had called her told her about the meal an told her it would be the last time time I would go there. The meal was $8.91 with tax As you can see in the picture it's mostly rice there was no pork at all in the rice. Maybe a teaspoon of pork ribs and 4 chicken fingers. We've tried them a couple of times and have not been impressed. Sesame beef I'm almost certain was orange chicken, but too much breading to be sure. Steamed dumplings are fair and way better than the fried. Pork fried rice...uh-uh. All in all, fair to poor. Horrible horrible. Portions are sad, quality is sad. My beef stick was one bite, chicken fingers were dried out and hard. I mean if you're going to skimp on the portions, you could atleast make sure the quality is there. Never again will I eat here. One of the worst Chinese Restaurant experiences I've ever had. To be clear, two stars = "I've experienced better." It's hard to ignore the small portions of food here, especially when you compare it to competing Chinese food restaurants. The teriyaki is pitiful, actually. You'll get twice the meat at a competing restaurant and a better quality cut, in my opinion. Same for the spare ribs. (Which might actually be better for my waistline in the long run.) :) Despite that, for under $8 for a dinner combination, it's not overpriced - you just might be accustomed to getting more for that same money. I've never had problems getting more duck sauce or haven't seen any billing shenanigans as others have reported. I keep coming back because it's the only game in town. Quite frankly, these are the smallest portions I've seen in my lifetime for a Chinese food restaurant. Keep that in mind if you're starving! read more

One our way home one day, we passed the town of Lisbon Falls and I was starving. I have not eaten since I woke up that morning and most morning. I know breakfast is the most important meal :) I was busy at work all day (typical day in a pharmacy) that I did not make the time to eat something. I did not want to try anything fancy tonight just the basic. I was surprised of how flavorful and delicious their chow mein was. In most restaurants chow mein are made out of some bean sprout and lots of sweet onions, cheaper ingredients. At Canton Pearl, they make it with nappa cabbage and all out of nappa cabbage, the way it should be. The portion was right and the fried rice equally good. The chicken pieces were thick and tender. We also ordered fried dumplings. The size of dumplings were small. It tasted ok but the filling was very fatty/oily. Dave ordered cashew chicken and he said it was good and Im sure it was. Canton Pearl won me over with their basic meal. It would have been a rating of 5* but I took a star off because of the surroundings. Her kids were doing homework on one of the tables which was fine I guess. One of the front window was broken, and it was put up with tape and cardboard. Oh well. Just moved to the area and after moving all day wanted to try them out. It was the absolute worse food I have ever had. The lobster sauce was like a weird liquid jello with little chunks of random pieces. There was not much food for the price (not that I wanted any of it after trying it) the pitifulness of their food compared to a good place is laughably absurd. Nice people but they need to try a good place like Wok & Roll or Happy Dragon in Biddeford to see what it's supposed to be because what they are selling is only edible in the sense because no one deficated in it. read more

I love canton pearl. Their food is very good and the family that runs it is very sweet and nice. Every time we go in we see the kids doing homework or watching videos on their tablet, and they're super cute. It's a local place that has above average quality Chinese food. :) read more

Chinese dumplings within walking distance, sign me up. It's really amazing how consistent Chinese food is given the locale.

Food is good, staff friendly. Pay cash though. I paid by card, checked my card transactions for that day. My $25.49 order became $30.49. I left no tip for carry out, I guess they didn't like that. read more

Been here several times, never been great but never had issues until tonight. I sent my husband to pick up dinner on his way home. We spent about $50 on Chinese food only for him to get home and my entire meal of pepper steak and onions is all onion and green pepper, there were 4 pieces of meat in the entire box!
