We came here last night because we could sit outside and listen to music. When my friend suggested Canyon Club Brewery, I remembered going there for a Yelp event in 2024. Since the hostess said outside was loud/difficult to have conversations, we decided to have dinner inside. I had the fish tacos and my friend had chicken wings and garlic fries. The fish was flaky and I loved the cream sauce. While I liked the ease of ordering online with the QR code, they ended up charging my debit card $35, which was $15 more than the cost of my entree. Fortunately they refunded the $35 when I checked my US Bank account. Not sure if the issue was a system glitch or a staff member incorrectly entering the amount. All in all, a good spot in a small town with few options.

Back in Moraga for Parents weekend at SMC and of course we had to stop here! Beautiful Fall day so enjoyed the patio ! Went with IPA flights and some great food: Cauliflower wings, Fish n chips and Philly Cheesesteak Great music, service, crowd, atmosphere, food and beer ! All great

It's a brewery and restaurant with most Mexican and American cuisines in a great casual setting. Indoor and outdoor seatings. Full bar. Live music Friday and Saturday nights. Great selection of beers. Outdoor seating with fire pits and big screens. Very decent and clean settings for outdoor gathering. Indoor has bar, tables and big bench. Service is quick and welcoming. Free parking lot and accessible with flat and wide entry or outdoor seating.

I like this place but honest to God the QR menu system SUCKS. Terrible UX. You have things in the wrong section, like fries. Those are a side, not a starter when i am looking to add fries to my meal. It is too large of a menu to put on the phone and it is bullshit that you even ask for tips

What a great spot to kick back with friends on a sunny day! There's plenty of outdoor seating, including two cozy fire pit areas that add a nice touch. We showed up late on a Saturday afternoon, so seating was a bit limited but we lucked out with an outdoor table. I was with a friend and we shared a beer sampler and a hot pretzel--perfect for a quick bite. We were only able to stay for a short visit before heading to another event, but it was just enough to know I want to come back. The indoor space looked just as inviting, and the service was excellent throughout. I'll definitely be returning when I have more time to relax, try more of the menu, and soak up the atmosphere.

Good food and fast service, small inside but with a nice outdoor patio where dogs are welcome, and the menu includes several unseasoned meat options for them. I would have preferred a few more entree options on the overall menu, but there was a decent variety. Chicken tortilla soup could have used a little more flavor, but it was nicely filled with rice and chicken, and a few beans. In our group, the fried chicken sandwich was huge and looked really good, as did the salads. Burger and garlic fries were perfect. We had a glitch with the bat code ordering outside, but food came quickly. A nice option in the beautiful setting of Moraga.

Popped into Canyon Club on Friday the 4th after a bike ride on the trail, Moraga -Lafayette. Beer hit the spot , I had the Solid IPA. Yum. Also ordered the Wedge Salad. Super happy with this salad which was very tasty, not soggy with the blue cheese. And bacon was real bacon, not bacon bits. Really nice. Will definitely return, outside garden is so nice!

Canyon club is a nice brewery with delicious beer and actually decent food! My beer battered fish and chips are delicious and fresh. The kids Mac and cheese can be cheesier but it is decent and portion is huge. The burger has a nice flavor but thin patty. There are some communal tables and booths inside and a good amount of tables outside. They also have live bands at night time but not sure when.

    Do they allow dogs outside?

    They do.

    Is there WiFi?

Do they have a happy hour by any chance?

    I don't believe so

Are there any vegetarian entrees on the menu?

Don't believe there is any vegetarian main but you could get the salad. Also worth asking them and they may make something. It feels pretty casual so find out. We go there for the beer and not food.

Pros - Friendly cashier, good assortment of beer and ciders, dog-friendly…read more Neutral - Loud music outside. Cons - No employee approached a male dog owner over his pit bull excessively howling / yelping over another dog. A couple yelps, fine. It kept going, it was loud, the silver-haired Boomer was taking his sweet time to ( not ) control his dog with respect to other people in the patio area. So, dogs are preferred over people, no one on staff to politely ask the man to control the dog immediately? One more thing: the barking was such a nuisance that I and another customer were looking back at the owner to see if he was taking care of it, the customer quipped about the dog going to be attacking him, if anything, I joked that I'd be fine, he then suddenly held up the numbered signage for his order ( w/ metal stand ) saying he was going to hit me with it. ( No light-hearted tone, moreso irritated and aggressive. ) And this is how suddenly bad things happen, how a customer spews out a verbal threat ( technically criminal assault ), linked to an out-of-control situation with a pet owner and his dog and a restaurant that won't do anything about it. Simple Solution: Train employees ( or remind them ) to assertively and cordially request owners to keep their dogs peaceful and quiet. Otherwise, it's sweeping a problem under the rug. Not smart nor respectful of other customers. Being Fair: If you like the energy of a loud restaurant, whether it's music and/or dogs barking, then you should be fine, drinks and all. If you love dogs, yet want them responsibly controlled in an environment where you seek to maintain an actual meaningful conversation, this establishment is a roll of the dice.
