This is one of my all-time favorite tap rooms. It is in the heart of Walnut Creek off of Broadway. Parking is plentiful, but you will almost certainly need to pay for the street parking. On rare occasions, I get one of the free spots near the entrance. But don't count on it. I have had countless wonderful conversations with the patrons who come here. Plus, the bartenders are always cheerful and helpful. Naturally, there's a good selection of beer, and the bartender is helpful in helping you make a selection. There is usually a food service out front.

My adult sons and I stopped here. I ordered the apple seltzer it was really good. My son ordered at counter and got our drinks and snack. Then we headed upstairs to hang out. They have large seating with couches and a restroom upstairs and downstairs. Very chill place. We were okay until we stepped on dog poop upstairs. There were a few ppl upstairs with dogs. We love pets, however customers need to be responsible for their pets. Or place may need to check often for clean ups. We didn't expect this to happen floor is wooden brown that it blended. Update: Thank you Marc for reaching out. I really appreciate it. I don't want the dog incident to reflect on the business. Gotta love this is a pet friendly environment. But more so for the pet owners to be more conscious and responsible for their pets.

Loved this place but hate the fact that I don't live nearby and can't make this a regular thing! Guess I need to move back to WC! Set in a former body shop ( might have been a Mikes back in my Enterprise days in the Creek) it has a cool industrial vibe and a mixed crowd of families, groups and dogs which I loved! Upstairs and downstairs seating, food trucks are available in the parking lot and. FANTASTIC range of beers both on tap and canned! Loved the beers, the vibe, the people, service was lovely and friendly! Cannot wait to return!

A very cool spot tucked away from the hustle and bustle to grab a drink and relax. Very welcoming beertenders and the people who come here are the friendliest people, who some come with their dogs. There's a food truck right outside and they serve good food, reasonable and fast. I love their kombuchas and the vibe here. They also sometimes have a DJ who comes and plays pretty fun top 40 music. I enjoy coming here.

Nice place to grab a beer! They have beers from local breweries and special features that rotate. Got some darks, hazy beers, smoothie-style, cider and seltzers. On Untapped if you like to check in your beers Plenty of seating downstairs and upstairs. Parking lot is small. We had to pay for street meter parking which is $1/hour. Also had popcorn for $5 with interesting flavors like Spirulina and nutritional yeast. Dog friendly with a patio area. We also ordered pizza from Pinky's Pizza which is around the corner. They will walk over and deliver your pizza to you. There's no signs posted telling you how to do this but reading other yelpers reviews I knew to go online and call and order. Took about 30-35 minutes on a busy Saturday night for the pizza to come. Also watched the Warriors game here; they have a lot of large TV screens and bartenders are very gracious and friendly! They'll change the TV and give you local tips.

sun is blocked off by the building -- perfect for those hot summer afternoons!

Great little spot to grab a local beer or two... or three. ;) I've been meaning to check this spot out since pre-COVID, but of course, plans changed. Finally got around to it on a sunny Saturday afternoon, and I'll definitely be returning. Nice open space with tables inside and out. TVs were showing both A's and Giants games (which my bf and I appreciate as divided fans haha). Only a few parking spaces in their lot, but lots of street parking. Beer selection is vast -- both on tap and canned! I appreciate the mix of the "tried and true," like Russian River and Henhouse and ones farther north that I'd never tried before. The fridge selection was even more extensive, so of course we had to snag some cans for later. As for food, I know you can order pizza nearby to get delivered, but it's not clear how to go about that. No signage on tables or mention anywhere online that I could find, so maybe ask staff if you're interested.

That set it off just right. They're prices are moderate. I mean it is BBQ. Also, my food came out hot. The combo came with 2 sides and we chose mac and cheese and waffle fries with house rub. We started with the cauliflower bites, sticky flavor with comeback sauce. All the meats had good flavor. The pork had a slight sourness that was nice. Most of it was drier than I'd like though. Only the pork belly was actually flavorful, juicy, and tender. Mac and cheese and fries were both fine but won't be writing home about this. Cauliflower was pretty good, could be crunchier with more breading. The table had 4 different BBQ sauces. I really liked the tin roof non spicy. It was nice to have that many options. The staff were nice but maybe a little too attentive. They cleared our water cups before we were ready to go.

The time before last night was back in the day of parklets and they had some event so I put my name on the wait list but was able to order a drink and taco while I waited. My partner and I were walking back to our car after being somewhere. As we walked by it was dark inside and the music was pumping. There was door security but no line so we went in. I'm so glad we ended up across the street. It's an open area restaurant with a very large wraparound bar and rooftop deck seating overlooking downtown. Despite it being windy and chilly, we didn't get cold at all. I regret not taking photos of the restaurant itself as the ambience was so unique. We ordered 3 appetizers and no mains. Fried calamari, heirloom tomatoes with burrata and roasted brussel sprouts. Calamari: batter was a bit darker than most I've had, but consistency and crispness the same. Don't know if they used extra paprika for the color. The calamari was tender and a good contrast to the batter. The real star was their tartar sauce which was so yummy we asked for more. Tomato salad: this dish was just about perfect. What you can't see well in the photo is the burrata sitting on a bed of pesto. The pesto is arugula-based, making it much milder and not so basil-forward, which we appreciated. Brussels sprouts: It's not the best we've had but I would still order it again, if nothing more than to get those insane bacon chunks that came with the vegetables. I had the spicy maracuya and hubby had the Irish goodbye as drinks. Both wonderfully done, but I especially liked the Irish goodbye which was their take on a manhattan - instead of bourbon they used whiskey, and threw in some green chartreuse along with the vermouth. We'll have to try to recreate this at home. Service was friendly, but the server didn't check up on us. They looked understaffed. All in all, we would be sure to go back, and drag some friends with us.

For a party of two, we ordered four drinks, two appetizers, and one salad, with the final tab coming to approximately $170. At that price point, I expect a noticeably stronger food experience, and unfortunately, this meal did not deliver. The service was a bright spot. The waitstaff was polite, professional, and attentive throughout the evening. Unfortunately, the food was where the experience fell short. The cauliflower and spicy tuna appetizers both had acceptable presentation, but the flavors and execution were disappointing. The ingredients did not seem particularly well balanced, and both dishes felt like they needed the chef to revisit the seasoning, composition, and overall preparation. Neither appetizer left an impression worth repeating. The Asian chicken salad had potential, but the quality and freshness of the ingredients kept it from standing out. A salad built around fresh, crisp ingredients should feel vibrant, yet this one came across as somewhat tired and lacking the freshness I would expect. Another point worth mentioning is the 20% gratuity that was automatically added to the bill. While I understand that some restaurants have automatic gratuity policies, it was unexpected for a party of two and felt somewhat excessive given the overall dining experience. I would have preferred that the policy be clearly communicated upfront. I typically include photos with my reviews, but the only photo I took on this visit was of the receipt, which probably says enough about how memorable the food was. Overall: The service was professional, but the food did not justify the approximately $170 price tag for two. There are plenty of restaurants where I would expect a more memorable and thoughtfully executed meal at this price point.
