We've been to Morgan Territory Brewing several times over the years and always have a good experience. The beer is consistently good, and it's a great spot to watch a game thanks to the numerous TVs throughout the taproom. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it an easy place to meet up with friends or spend an afternoon. One thing we've really appreciated is how easy they make it to reserve space for a group. We hosted an event there and the process was simple and stress-free, which made planning much easier. Another bonus is being right next to Cantina Jack's. We love grabbing food from next door and enjoying it with our beers. The only challenge can be parking, especially during busy times, but that's more a function of the surrounding area than the brewery itself. I came here for a beer with my brother on Sunday night. Our intention was to watch the 49ers game, which was pretty disappointing, but at least my beer wasn't! I decided to try a new style of beer that h have never heard of before -- a Bock. They ruled the beer "Big Bock Energy." It was a fantastic brew! It is brewed with German malts, with a smooth finish, which is what I prefer most in a beer (I'm not a big fan of IPA's or hops, although sometimes it's good). It is a dark lager, and it gets its color from toffee and dark fruit. The flavor is subtle and balanced . Overall very pleasant. The woman at the bar was also super nice and the ambiance was cool, although there was not many people there. Maybe the crowd is dependent on the day. There were also a few people working on their computer, so if you enjoy the chill vibe component that could be a plus. read more

Swung by the new Brewery for a quick suds. It is the place that used to be Sweet Tomato in Dwtn Phill. They have plenty of Beers on tap and also beers and Growlers togo. I had the Motor Boating and wifey had a Pilsner like beer. I had tried the Collaboration of Danville Brewing, . Epidemic and Del Celio called Play date Dble IPA. We had brought food from a nearby restaurant and they allow fiur babies aka Doggies. Friendly staff and lots seating with patio opening soon. Hours are 12-9 and ask for Emily, she's super nice. Nice addition to downtown Pleasant Hill! I love a good brewery and the beers at Morgan Territory were all super good. Really enjoyed the hazy beers. Guava kettle sour and strawberry rhubarb kettle sour SO GOOD. Really like the strawberry rhubarb. I usually don't like kettle sours bc of the tinny taste but these had a great depth of flavor. Nitro coffee stout was also a highlight! We must have tried 10 beers lol. All were great. You can get a flight of four. Indoor space is a little sparse to me but there are ample TVs for games. No outdoor area yet. No food but they allow food delivery to the restaurant from the nearby restaurants and don't care if you have outside food. Glad it's open! Came to Morgan Territory for the first time on a Friday afternoon. Was surprised that it was fairly quiet at the time. At about 4p on a Friday there was only a handful of people sitting at the bar top and 2 tables occupied. It definitely got busier within the hour and I understood why most reviews talk about the noise level. With only half the tables occupied, the noise level was extremely loud. A very good variety of beers on tab and to go. Didn't get a picture of the menu but they have all kinds including sours and seltzer. I had the blood orange seltzer and it was amazing. 5% ABV, great flavor, refreshing and easy to drink. They have popcorn and nut mixes for sale behind the bar. The churro and sweet & spicy were both great flavors. You can also have food brought over from crescent bistro across the street. Will absolutely be back! read more

They do start promptly at 6:30pm and it went until about 8:30pm. What's great is that you can bring your own food in to eat while you're pondering answers. Pleasant Hill was in need of a local brewery, and they are excellent. Great variety of beer types and flavors from Lagers to IPAs to sours to stouts. They have a decent sized spaced with plenty of tables and TVs. Lots or parking around since they are in a shopping center. Great prices on beers! Flights of 4 or 5 are usually about $10 read more

Today, their customer service was average. Nothing to write home about. Dark thick shoulder length haired, Betty Davis-eyed server pretty much ignored me for 15-20 min. along with her partner (full bearded, 5'8'' ish, black rimmed glasses server, crew cut hair). Don't know what was up with that. I wanted to order a beer to hold my spot at that awesome artistically built bar so I could go pee, but lost it after not being able to pinch it off any longer for more than 20 min. of not being tended to! Thank goodness for a third guy that came on shift (Asian, glasses, cap and long black hair) who clocked in and within 2 min if not sooner saved the day and asked me if I wanted a second beer (one hour later!). Not rocket science, people. Scan your patrons, address their needs and stop visiting in hopes of a date or getting some extra tip from one of your patrons! For the amount of time I spent here today: 1.) I would have had twice the beer 2.) paid out twice the tip (and not at the minimum 15% like I did this round. FYI: The beer is what sells MT. They make great beer. However, customer service needs to be consistently on point, especially if you are a new biz! I've frequented MT a half dozen times. Excellent beers in a nice spacious spot. This will be a great place to grab drinks on the patio during the warm season! Staff are totally cool with you bringing outside food as well (but please clean up when you leave!!), and some of the nearby restaurants will even deliver to the brewery. The one thing I'd LOVE to see added is a bookshelf full of board games to play (for both kids and adults) while enjoying a beer - Catan, Risk, checkers, chess, scrabble, Rummikub, Battleship, Ticket to Ride, Guess Who, Skipbo, Codenames, Apples to Apples, Connect 4, Candy Lane, etc. It might be cool to have a shuffle board inside, or cornhole outside. A couple of my fave breweries do these in Central Coast CA and they're always a hit and draw the community in for a longer stay. read more

Very happy that we finally have a place to hang out in PH! MTB has added so much fun to our community and allows us to try beer from all over the Bay. The only reason I decided on 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's a bit awkward with the echo and how quiet it can be. Love this brewery!! You could come solo or with a big group of people. I have been there 2 times in a week, that says a lot about this establishment. The bartenders are all really nice and welcoming , the beers are fantastic, the atmosphere is very mellow even if there are a bunch of people talking, it's really nice. Went on Tuesday night, there were about ten of us, appreciating the fact that they had closed but didn't hurry us up, it was very kind!!
