Terrible customer service July 3rd! Listened to staff behind the counter complain about the customers for over 55 minutes while I waited for two toasted bagels. Suggested they may want to let customers know of the excessive wait time when they order and one employee YELLED over the counter "you couldn't tell by the crowd that there would be a long wait?!?!" I have never been spoken to like that in any restaurant. More disturbed by that treatment than needing to wait so long. I understand they were short staffed and they were working very hard but that does not excuse this rudeness towards customers. I received a refund and left. The bagels are AWESOME, so perfect its criminal. I am supposed to be off wheat for my auto immune. This is where I cheat. However. The jalapeno cream cheese has morphed into something not so good. Call that shizz Atomic spread. It's got cayenne in it now and that is not just Jalapeno. ok? Please keep it simple and go back to the straight up cream cheese and peppers. WOW! Amazing bagels! My boyfriend and I stopped for lunch and I got a turkey sandwich on a whole wheat bagel, which was filling and perfect for a light lunch. Bagels were crispy on outside and chewy on inside... sooo delicious and honestly perfect!!! Sandwiches come with a small bag of Cape Cod chips or potato salad. We also stopped here on two other occasions to grab bagels with cream cheese (they put a ton of cream cheese on....too much for my tastes, but people love it obviously!). I also grabbed a half dozen bagels to go and have been enjoying them since we returned home (not AS good, but still delicious)! The bacon/sausage egg and cheese bagels we both got were just alright. But for quick and cheap this was perfect. It was the right amount of food before our epic bike ride around The Cape. They also make make sandwiches and wraps too if you're not hankering for some bagel action. Locals love this place too so come early to beat the breakfast crowd. The good: They have decent bagels, sandwiches and coffee. Has a convenient location - you have to pass their corner when you leave/come into Falmouth. The bad: Slow service. The people who prepare your order work at a counter facing you and are in no great hurry. In fact, they will chit chat with each other right in front of you while they leisurely put orders together. This is especially infuriating when its packed and they still feel no sense of urgency to just stop talking to each other about nonsense and just work. I wouldn't make mention of this if it was an isolated incident - its been this way for years. People even joke about how slow they are. Absolutely, hands down, my favorite bagel shop. It's always my first stop when I hit town because it's a staple of being home for me. The bagels are always fresh, the staff is super sweet, and anytime a mistake with my order is made- they go above and beyond to resolve it. In the summer and on Sunday mornings- expect them to be BUSY- but the wait is always worth it. I also love that they have a call ahead option if you're pressed for time. My great aunt used to own a house in Falmouth so my family and I went there every year for a week until she sold it. My biggest regret in all those years is that I never ate these bagels- my dad would get them fresh every morning, but I refused to believe that anything could be as good as Collegetown Bagels in Ithaca, NY (my hometown) and had him get me Dunkin Donuts instead. Now that I've tasted these amazing bagels, I know what a huge mistake that was. I go to school in Boston so last Tuesday, during my spring break, I went to Falmouth. We didn't have a cooler and I knew I wanted to get cream cheese and bagels to bring home, so we did everything else I used to do here and saved this place for last. Around 5:30 we were at Christmas Tree Shops and I realized we should check the hours of Cape Cod Bagel just to make sure it didn't close at 6. My boyfriend called- it turned out, they were open until 5:30. My day felt ruined- but he decided to call them back and see if, maybe, they could stay open for just a little longer while we rushed over. They said yes! So we went and I got 2 tubs of cream cheese and a (baker's) dozen of bagels. I've been keeping them in the freezer and refrigerator and they still taste amazing even days later. So the other day I was going through my checking account looking at my statement and see I've been charged 2x for a meal I got there. Awesome menu for a breakfast/lunch place. They have a large bagel selection and a quite a few varieties of cream cheese as well. Their lunch menu is full of sandwiches and salads. They also have a large coffee selection. I went in for breakfast. I ordered an iced hazelnut coffee and a bacon, egg, and cheese on a whole wheat bagel. The coffee was nice and fresh and not too hazelnutty. The bagel sandwich was also fresh. The bacon was cooked perfectly and loaded with flavor, so the sandwich didn't feel heavy or greasy. Went here for the first time today. Was pretty surprised to see 100 signs saying, "no mask no service" when it's 90 degrees outside and it's July 2021. Like seriously mostly everyone is vaccinated, and it should not be a requirement at this point. It looks pathetic and everyone can agree with that. The best bagel in Falmouth (Maybe even all of Cape Cod). I love lox and they have the best sandwich. It has the usual fixin's; cream cheese, lox, tomato, onion. And that's all you need. It doesn't have capers and I'm not even sure they have them even though I'm a fan of capers. I've never needed to ask. It's perfect. Maybe this is because I always get it on they're perfect egg bagel. This bagel is fluffy on the inside and firm on the outside (just enough). It is that perfect sweet/savory of eggs and has poppy seeds (a good amount) baked into them. As if that weren't enough, they also have a french toast/sausage/maple bagel sandwich that. . . well, there's no need to get into all that. There might be kids reading this. The Veggie cream cheese is "awweesommmee" according to my vegetarian fiance. She also loves they wide array of bagels ("the best honey wheat" and a "surprisingly delicious" spinach and garlic). Go ahead, name a bagel. They probably have it (unless you said "jellybean"). My fiance is a huge fan of their hazelnut iced coffee (And she's a connoisseur based on the number of times I turn around to find sipping another cup. Seriously, she might be an iced coffee ninja). My usual spot was out of cream cheese, and Philadelphia wasn't cutting it for me, so I went on a search. This place provided, and impressed. While I didn't actually eat a bagel, I saw what they had and they looked great. Nice a big, I got a bagel dog, and the bagel part was fresh and toasty on the outside, warm and doughy on the inside. We were all sadly disappointed with our lunches here. My order was punched in incorrectly, despite repeating it 3x. The cashier told me "curry chicken wrap on wheat".
