Have been coming here since high school. The bagels are always soft on the inside and their bagel sandwiches are always stuffed, so that's great. Wide selection of bagels too. It's the only place I can think of that has consistent l, house made cream cheeses and also offers the lite options. The coffee selection is great as well. Scary delicious. Cape Cod Bagel is on a busy thoroughfare leading to the hospital. While the main lot gets crowded (and there was some "creative" parking in non-parking spots), they do have a smaller back lot in between Baker Monument Co... and the cemetery. Through the trees, one can see tombstones engraved with names of prominent families like Hatch and Gifford. Cape Cod Bagel, on the other hand, is a lively, colorful place. It looks as if it hasn't changed for the past 22 years. The service is fast, friendly, and their Asiago bagel with lox, tomato&red onion is excellent. They carry several types of New England Coffee. The booths in the back are a little worse for wear; one of them had mysterious brown spots on the wall. For the most part, Cape Cod Bagel is great. Could use some paint&repairs. This place is cute. Indoor and outdoor seating. A lot of options outside of bagels including baked goods. There is a small selection of gift shop items such as cards and knick knacks which are cute. I thought the bagels were okay, nothing special, but probably the best option in the area. This place is perfecto!! We just had the best bagel sandwiches and absolutely amazing clam chowder! The prices are very reasonable and the staff friendly. I had the south of the border on an asiago bagel. It was spicy, creamy and bursting with flavor. My hubby enjoyed the Log cabin specialty which is a French toast bagel with sausage, egg, maple syrup and cheese. I found a menu for takeout and ordered a plain bagel to take out (not toasted) Priced $1.59) and an egg salad smallest portion ( priced $3) that should have been $4.59 plus tax that should have been under $5. The cashier asked me if I like it as a sandwich and I said that if it contains the same amount of egg salad that it is ok. Then she asked if I want lettuce and if it is the same price and comes with it it's ok. I was shocked that they billed me $11.68! However I did not argue but thought that it could be a delicious sandwich with best tasting egg salad. The bagel was doggy inside and the outside was old hard and rubbery with no taste The egg salad had no taste pieces of the yolks were white. The lettuce was withered and tasteless. We head down tothe cape a couple of times a year to take care of my brother in laws dogs and look forward to going straight here from fitchburg, its 103 miles from my driveway to the parking lot of ccb, I cant wait to have my regular italian bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese! We traveled up to the cape for a fitness show and were thrilled to see a bagel location. I ordered the orange cranberry bagel with regular cream cheese. My girl ordered a french toast bagel with cinnamon raisin walnut cream cheese. Both bagels were good. Very, very heavy on the cream cheese which can be both good and bad at the same time. I personally loved the oozing cream cheese that came from the bagel after each delicious bite. My girl on the other hand found it to be a bit too much. That's not to say it wasn't good, it just wasn't her style. The coffee is done right. You order your size and then choose from about 15 different flavors in a "make your own coffee bar". The staff are friendly. The kid who is making the bagels is awesome. He had his own music playing and was dancing and putting on a little show while making the bagels. No patience for businesses that complain about their customers dissatisfaction. This business requires masks for those ordering bagels outside, despite this being above and beyond any previous government requirements and certainly above existing government requirements. If that is their decision, then so be it, but do not presume to act as though it is not an imposition upon their customers. Accept that customers will not be happy with this. Consider this: it is the off season, so most of their current customers are locals. Locals that are shopping at other businesses that do not require masks. So, whatever minimal protection offered by requiring outdoor customers to mask up is undone the moment they go to the grocery store. The only way Cape Cod Bagel could actually protect their customers is to stay closed or deliver. Great bagels, though. read more

I'd like to say I've always loved this place, but when I was a kid coming to the Cape, I was picky and refused, so my grandfather would get bagels for everyone and stop at Dunkin to get a donut for me. Luckily, I came to my senses as an adult, and am now aware that their bagels are AMAZING. They also store well in the fridge or freezer- whenever I visit I'll get a dozen or two to bring back to Boston (I love living there, but it just doesn't have good bagels). The employees are very friendly, and have been for as long as I can remember. In college I came down for the day with a rented car and misremembered the hours they were open. I called in a panic to see if there was any way they could stay open a few extra minutes, and they were happy to do so, something I will always be very grateful for! That was well over a decade ago, and they haven't stopped being kind and helpful. Since the pandemic started, pickup/ordering has been at an outside window, but they're efficient about it (and you can still catch a whiff of the delicious smells inside). Any issues I've had around that have been because of fellow customers, not the store. Would I prefer to not have to wear a mask and to be able to stand inside if it's rainy or cold? Sure, who wouldn't? But the bagels are worth it. I'd buy and wear a hazmat suit if that's what they wanted. I also like that they now have an online ordering system, because now when I'm getting a lot of bagels at once I don't have to worry that they'll be out of the kind I want (or that I'll ruin someone else's day by getting the last asiago). Plus, it's easier to leave a good tip when ordering online. read more

Well they are back at it again not putting raisins in a cinnamon/raisin bagel and did not realize it's 3.00! I have not been there for over a year and it was in vicinity of 1.60. The excuse before for no raisins was "the vendor......". My answer was not to blame the vendor and if that was true (we know now it was a lie) GO TO THE STORE AND BUY THEM..,,That is what leaders do in a business...make it happen not make excuses because they are trying to get out of it cheap. And 3.00 for a bagel is not cheap and they are the cheapskates cutting quality for cost. Personally I'll never go back there again. Total cape cod ripoff. I grew up on Cape Cod bagels starting as a bland kid who ate an egg bagel with butter, to a more mature adult looking for a BEC on and Everything bagel to cure my hangover woes. The bagels have a nice crust on the outside and are loaded with topping. The inside is soft and chewy, puts other states "famous bagels" to shame. But their breakfast sandwiches are prepared on a line with microwaves, the eggs and bacon seem like they were reheated out of a box. I understand the trade off between speed and quality but I think fresh cooked eggs is what will take CC Bagel to 5 stars. Also! They have like 20 flavors of drip coffee to try. Very disappointed both times we went. This has been a family tradition for over 13 years. We have a time share and go to Falmouth the same time every year. This last experience was below subpar. The first time we went they got the order wrong. It was only 3 bagels and two out of the three had the same kind of cream cheese. The last time we went which was today on our way back home from vacation, one of the cashier's were very rude to me. For two bagels with cream cheese is a little under $10.00. The quality was fine but I would expect better service and with a smile. We had gone there about 8:15pm and they were not even busy. There is no excuse for a cashier or server to be rude. Delicious NY-Style bagels. The outsides are crunchy and the insides are chewy, just like it should be. I got the asiago bagel and it had just enough cheese. The jalapeno cream cheese is DELICIOUS. If I could give this 10 stars i would, this is one of my favorite bagel places ever, full stop. We literally plan our ferry times for steamship authority so that this place is open when we drive by. It's our first stop on vacation - I grab a toasted sesame bagel with olive cream cheese and my daughter gets a toasted plan with plain cream cheese and cucumbers - then we get a dozen bagels and some of the amazing cream cheese to last us for our vacation. This year my sister joined us from NY for vacation and I told her & her family to stop there and after they did they agreed that it's well worth planning around - so yummy. I've found other bagel places that have good bagels OR good cream cheese, but this place has it all - the bagels are amazing and the cream cheese is perfect - both taste home made. And coffee selection is excellent. LOVE. Only wish it was closer. Keep up the good work. My only complaint is that they aren't open later! read more

Who would have thought there would be real NY style bagels on Cape Cod. My friend and I each got an everything bagel with sausage , fried egg, peppers and cheese.
