It's been a while since I've enjoyed seafood in New England. Tonight I felt like I was back on Narragansett Bay. Tremendous seafood. We had the clam cakes, chowder, scallops and lobster roll. It was all fantastic. The cakes were crunchy on the outside, moist and fluffy on the inside, with just the right amount of clams. The chowder had a great texture, tender chunks of potato and clams. The scallops were perfectly breaded, sweet and succulent. Fantastic. The only shortcoming was that the bun for the lobster roll was a bit over-toasted. We were ok with that. It was the lobster that was important anyway. I'd come back here again, easily. Very capable and friendly staff. read more

This place is really outstanding. My wife and I just moved to Fort Myers a few months ago, and this is definitely one of our absolute favorites. The chowdahs are excellent. The spicy lobster tacos are some of the best seafood tacos I've ever had. We had one of their shrimp and sausage boils that was out of this world. The staff is really really great too. Stopped by on Sunday evening. We were the only ones inside. Everyone else sat outside but it was a bit warm for us. The food was excellent. Everyone in our party of five enjoyed their meals. Started with New England clam chowder and salads. Then Shrimp pot pie, shrimp & salmon tacos,crispy shrimp plate, fish & chip plate half scallop. Delicious!!!!! Dessert was love boat ice cream. One pint each of maple walnut and chocolate chip. Really smooth and creamy. Service was friendly and helpful. Definitely a great place for dinner! read more

How is it possible that I have lived here all my life and not known about the amazing place! Our friends were raving about Cape Cod Fish Company and suggested we try it. Wow we were not disappointed. The clam chowder was fantastic but my favorite was the blackened shrimp tacos! I loved them so much that I had my hubby pick up a to-go order the following day as well. Great service. Super friendly. This place we have had on our Fort Myers "bucket list" for a long time. They did not disappoint! The people that were working were New England natives and were helpful and friendly. I had clam cakes (a filling app with a great price point) and my husband had the clam chowder (excellent rich flavor) we both had the classic lobster roll. Thank god...after trying numerous seafood places around the area there is a good one. This place is the real deal..chef just told us the clams arrived from Maine 2 hrs ago. Omg this Cape Cod Company is the best place to go and enjoy real New England food and tasty fish. Their new England clam chowder and clam cakes are to die for. We ate a clam boil dinner for two with awesome native corn. I had the seafood platter.it was cooked to perfection. My sister in law had the best scallops cooked ever. I tried this restaurant for the first time this past Sunday off of a friend's recommendation, and I'm so glad I did! I am originally from Cape Cod (now living in Naples) and every once in a while I crave a really good lobster roll - the kind I used to get back home. This is the best I've found in Florida so far! Generally, restaurants down here use a bunch of mayo and celery and other filler in their rolls, but not Cape Cod Fish Co. This one was pure, fresh lobster and butter. It was delicious!! It was a good size and very fairly priced for the amount of lobster meat. Plus, their fresh cut fries and chowder were a perfect accompaniment. Service was fast and friendly. The ONLY thing that upset me: they were out of steamers -which are my favorite lobster roll precursor. But, oh well...I guess that'll just give me an excuse to go back :) read more

Went here last night for dinner. The shrimp and fish that I had tasted like it had been caught that day. The shrimp tasted great plain but was even better with the seafood sauce which seemed to be home made. The tartar sauce also seemed to be home made. Both the shrimp and cod were fried to perfection. The Cole slaw was excellent and the fries were just like the ones you get in New England served with malt vinegar. Mmm, mmm! My mouth is watering right now. Janine, our server was very attentive. My fish tacos were to die for and the lobster chowder with sweet corn was also awesome. Hubby had the cod fish n chips which had a nice light and flaky crust that was delicious. Boys had a classic (cold with mayo) and Connecticut style (warm with butter) lobster roll which they devoured quickly. I'm so glad I searched the internet and found this fantastic, quaint traditional New England Fish Restaurant. Our mission was to find whole belly clams for a friends birthday and we were not disappointed. The warm welcome as one of the busy staff held the door was experienced throughout our visit. Our server pointed out the specials posted and we started with a generous cup of deliciously seasoned fish chowder with no shortage of large chunks of fish served at just the right temperature coupled with a tasty plate of Rhode Island clam cakes. The whole belly clams were lightly breaded, succulent and delicious. My wife had a "naked" lobster roll which as stated was stuffed to over-flowing with large pieces of mouth watering lobster served with a side of mayo for the toasted roll and lettuce. I was perfectly happy with the fish and chips which consisted of several lightly breaded white, flaky, moist cod fillets served piping hot with sides of fresh cut fries and beautifully seasoned (maybe a touch of horse radish?) cole slaw. Everything was just a notch better than we had hoped for including the chef/owner frequenting the dining area asking how everything tasted, etc., along with pleasant banter and genuine hospitality. We topped it off with hand-packed ice cream in a cup with a paper under the lid like I haven't seen since visiting traditional dairy take away places up north. What a jewel of a find that was well worth the trip for us. We took a paper menu for our next visit which will be soon. Count on us as regulars. Very great staff and outstanding food. Not a lot of seating, but that's half the charm. The tacos now come in a set of three. Also the bada Bing shrimp and the "chowdas" are very good as well. Priced well for the fresh sea food that you are getting. The owner is also very nice comes out and checks on the customers regularly. read more

The lobstah rolls are the best you will find here in Florida. The clam chowder is delicious and the staff is always friendly. Not table service, order at the counter and then pick up food when called. I love it can't get enough. Be sure to try it. Especially if you are from New England and missing that back home taste. The food was good here for what we tried however the service was really awful. We had to wait over an hour to pay our tab and get out of here which I'll partially attribute to us coming here shortly after they reopened for season, but I'm definitely not in a hurry to come back based on the quality of service alone. read more

The location is in a strip mall which is a little odd for such a good place! Had the garlic butter mussels and clam chowder to start. Amazing! First time having mussels for me and it was delicious. Then for the main course had their classic lobstah roll, which came out on a toasted bun and there was no skimping on the lobstah!
