I loved this spot. It's so cute! The lighthouse entrance and the back patio were my favorite places in this restaurant! We sat on the back patio, by the water. We watched lots of boats pull in which was nice. There's plenty of boat parking here. Our waitress was on it! She was always ready to top off our drinks and get us whatever we needed. After living in Naples for so long and never coming here we picked the Saturday of Easter weekend which I thought was crazy but we were seated quickly at a table for 2 outside. The server was efficient and pleasant. He went over the specials of the day which included a chowder with grouper, crab and shrimp. We got a cup of it and it was absolutely delicious. We also had the mahi dip and blackened mahi sandwich we also ordered 2 coors lite. Everything we ordered had wonderful flavors and reasonable portion sizes. I was super impressed with this little gem and will definitely be back soon. Oh, and don't let the parking situation scare you off, they have free valet parking for anyone who eats there. read more

Cute, no frills spot in an area where you might not know there's a restaurant. The food was just "ok" to us (being from New England, the bar is set pretty high for us on seafood, especially lobster rolls), but the drinks were great as was the ambiance and bartenders. I go here 2-3 times each winter for a fun laidback decidedly unfunny lunch overlooking the water. The surrounding buildings have changed and gone upscale, but this place retains its old Florida charm among the multi-story buildings surrounding it. The food and no nonsense service is good enough to keep me coming back year after year. Of course, if Buzz's were a mile inland and overlooked a parking lot instead of the water, it probably wouldn't stay on my luncheon shortlist. Go there while you can. Some day the owners will sell the land and make the real bucks. For now, it's a postage stamp size piece of Florida restaurant history--a setting becoming increasingly hard to find in Naples and environs. Prices are acceptable given the view. read more

Was seated right away. Had a seat just inside the deck to keep the wind off of us since it was dark and a little cool. Waitress was sitter friendly and nice. I ordered a key lime tini to drink. My husband got a Painkiller. Both were so so good. Mine was like a dessert! I ordered Chicken Caprese for dinner. The tomatoes were so huge and fresh and ripe. Chicken had such great flavor and perfectly cooked. My husband got Mahi with a key lime butter sauce and tropical rice and broccolini. He said it was all very good and cooked perfectly. What a shame... it's just not the same. We've been going here for years, always enjoyed the "old world" ambiance of what was vintage Old Naples and the terrific fresh fish dishes. Our favorite dish (which extended to our visiting children) was their famous Grouper Rueben. After moving away a few years ago, we returned, post-Hurricane Ian, only to find a shell of the original. The hotel section has been leveled, only the restaurant is left standing. We learned that the Ritz has sunk their mitts into the kitchen and has since "changed things up" to accommodate a more eclectic clientele. The service was good, but not the same friendly, down-to-earth attitude. Their version of the beloved Grouper Reuben (and I have to imagine the other original dishes) is just not the same. The Ritz may have attempted to put a new shine on the old penny but, in doing so, they have tarnished the old world charm of this long-standing, historic business. read more

The sandwich is definitely enough to share, especially with a order of onion rings! We shared the onion rings which everyone loved. I thought the Ruben tasted a bit salty. We ordered fresh mozzarella cheese instead of the American cheese that came with the sandwich. Switching to mozzarella, being fresh cheese, was definitely a good choice. The service was good and fast which was surprising for Mother's Day. The place is beautiful with an amazing view. The food was good. My mom ordered the Mahi and my dad ordered the Salmon. I ordered a burger cause I'm not a big fan of seafood. According to my parents their food was good. I ordered my burger medium rare but it wasn't cooked that way. It's not a big deal since it's a seafood place anyway. The Mississippi mud pie was really good. We ordered an appetizer, two bowls of soup, 3 main dishes, and a dessert. It was $186 including drinks and tip. They already have a 20% tip included. So it's definitely on the expensive side but it was nice for special occasions.
