I called him yesterday to see if he could come out and clean out my dryer duct as my dryer was not working properly. The dryer repairman said there was nothing wrong with the dryer, but the duct was probably packed with lint. I called, and he came out within the hour. Since I was here alone, he moved out the dryer for me and took care of everything. Now it is like I have a new dryer. I couldn't believe all the packed lint he removed. Dean works with our real estate agent who recommended him to clean before we moved in. As someone else mentioned, he does talk more than he works and asked a bunch of personal questions about how much we paid for the house, how we were able to afford it and other stuff. He's a one man band (as far as I could tell) and very "In your face" with his communications; like someone that could very easily fly off the handle if you look at him wrong, and he's the "owner" of this business. I would NOT want to be a female alone with this guy as he has a major attitude. The work he did was mediocre. read more

Had these guys set up today after reading the positive reviews on Yelp. Dean shows up (on time!) and when I invite him into the house, the first words out of his mouth are, "yeah I don't even know what I am here to do". Pretty odd given he gave us a quote already, but I suspect this is how he might look to change the price quote as he spoke to my wife and not to me. I showed him the stairs and master bedroom and he says, "hey, we don't move furniture". When I asked him why he wouldn't have told my wife this he said, "I had an in depth conversation with her and I covered all of that." I told him that it strikes me as odd that he had an in-depth conversation about the furniture, quoted her a price for the job and then he shows up not knowing what he was here to do. He got pretty pissy at that point. Needless to say I didn't have him stick around. Very disappointing that I wasted my morning hanging around for him and that's how they show up. Perhaps it wasn't a big enough job. My suggestion is that you get your quote from him in writing with all the details so you can avoid wasting time like I did. read more

I was referred to Capistrano Beach Steam Clean by a friend & I am impressed!!! I called at 1045am and spoke with the owner, Dean, who said he could come by my house at 1130 to take a look & provide a quote. Dean & his partner arrived promptly & measured my house. Here is some floor history... 500sq feet of intricate tile with a ton of grout. The floors were installed over ten years ago & have never been professionally cleaned. It's a small condo & the kitchen, dinning room & living room are all connected with no walls dividing. Everywhere is a traffic zone & the light colored grout was pretty much black. Dean gave me a killer price, meaning less then what I was prepared to pay & quoted by other companies. I asked when he wanted to come clean and he gave me the perfect response, "how about I help you move this furniture & we'll do it now. I can be done in 1.5 hours." It was deal, we moved all the furniture, I took the kids to the pool & when I returned 2 hours later I walked into a new house. The tile has a nice shine, all the grit removed, the grout is a light sand color (I had no idea) & the house smells amazing!!! The owners live locally so it feels great to support a local business owner, they're professional and personable. I don't think you'll be disappointed with their work or attitudes. I had a disgusting, smelly sectional couch that we received for free but was previously in a dog-owner's home then spent about 9 months in a dusty dirty garage. Needless to say, it was not a pretty sight however through the dingy black stains, dust, and spider-webs I could tell that the upholstery was overall in pretty good shape. I did my usual research calling about 12 names that I had gathered from CL and Yelp to find a knowledgeable, yet affordable company who was up for the job. Immediately after speaking with Dean, I could tell that he knew his stuff regarding cleaning and i scheduled an appt. Dean did a very thorough job in cleaning the upholstery on all sides of the sectional and plugged away for over an hour trying to get the stains out of the couch. When he was finished, the couch was very moist from the deep-cleaning and Dean told me to follow-up with him when it dried because that's when we'd be able to tell if the stains were out. After it had dried, the couch was far cleaner than it was before, however the moisture from the cleaner had brought up more grime from the cushions and thus still had stains :( The moment I told Dean this he immediately offered to come back and work some more magic on the sectional for me. And this time, he left the couch looking brand new!!!!
