A small cup is two scoops so it was perfect! The flavors were Lemon Lavender and POG (pomegranate, orange, guava). At first I think I liked the lavender best, but as I continued to eat, I think POG stole the show. They were both refreshing and flavorful and I appreciated the blends to give my tastebuds new flavors. Del Ray is such a cute neighborhood too. I sat outside at the tables/benches to eat. If you're planning a visit, their website is pretty slim and doesn't list all the options for getting a sweet treat. I do think it would be helpful for it to include those options. But others have posted pictures of their menu so you can search for that.

However, when someone was asking for clarification, the employee explained that it was two scoops. Anyway, as a whole of ice cream is good and I'll keep coming back for that reason. I just want them to be staffed properly. What I don't love is that people hop in, grab ice cream from the freezer, cut the line and get checked out, while making people waiting in line wait. It's unfair and annoying, especially when you're just waiting for a couple scoops.

They also have the more traditional flavors like chocolate, pistachio, cookies and cream, mint chip, strawberry, vanilla, etc. I stopped by for a scoop and decided to go with the peanut butter brownie honeycomb. I was a little hesitant about the honeycomb aspect, but it enhances the flavor and texture so much - it's next level! I loved it ~ now I have to go back and try their original honeycomb ice cream. It is pricey ice cream. It's about $8 for a single scoop, $9+ for two scoops, $10+ for three scoops - and that's before tax and tip, so it's closer to $9-$11+ for a cup of ice cream. It's definitely a "treat yo' self" kind of treat... this is the "high-end" part of Union Station, near the Laderach, Chiboo Bakery, and Neuhaus sweet boutique shops. They have waffle cones, add-on toppings, and other fun options like sundaes and floats. Currently they're offering a Shirley Temple Float... that's my drink right there! I will have to try it and report back. Van Leeuwen is the fancier option to the Shake Shack, McDonalds, Chick-fil-a, and Insomnia Cookies ice cream alternatives available at Union Station. Our absolute favorite was their Rugelach, between chocolate and honey pecan, get both! The chocolate is on the dark side and pairs so well with the sweet almond of the dough. The honey pecan was such a decadent filling, intensely sweet and nutty, but in the best way possible.
