Reading the good reviews online I picked this place out of all the other ones for a family pedicure while everyone was in town. We all got pedicures, All of our nails are crooked, my big toe nail hurts and they burned my knee with the hot towel. I understand hot towels are hot but they shouldn't be so hot they burn skin that is mildly sensitive. And they couldn't even complete a basic pedicure without making you feel like you were a huge inconvenience. I started 5 minutes after everyone else had been started and I was also the first done, around 10 minutes before anyone. The lady who did my toes told me the color I chose was too pale, I wanted white, and she painted my toes a pale pink. I paid 55$ for something that my 13 yr old niece could have done and she knows nothing about nails. Don't waste your money, it's not worth it. Also. After leaving a bad review on Google the manager called me 3 times, I'm on vacation so I didn't answer until the 3rd time and he told us that they didn't do anything wrong and our review was weird. It was really hard to find what I was looking for so ended up just asking for white on my nails and toes. The pedicure was fine, but it was $40 and they didn't do any exfoliating or lotion. I told the woman at the front I did not want gel when she told me to pick a color from the gel colors. The other woman who was doing my nails I did not want gel 2x, only a manicure. She kept saying "but it will be so nice" and continued to ask "why not gel?" Flash forward and I leave, having spent $80 on a manicure / pedicure and tipping $20 ($100 Total) And by Tuesday the top coat has completely begun to crack and wither away off my nail. The worst nail place I have ever been to. I went once, and will never go back. Right after I left, my nails immediately started chipping. Almost every single nail. I went in to have them fixed. I felt as if they were making fun of me, and were quite rude to be honest. After they fixed it.... those immediately started chipping as well. The gel manicure was rushed, the nail tech didn't care, and I just would avoid this establishment at ALL costs. I have heard about them treating women of color with disrespect as well, and wish I would have known that prior to going here. I have never had a gel manicure chip in my entire life like this. The sloppiest dip powder that was rushed after waiting 49 minutes. I asked for a manicure and never got it. Was never asked if I needed a complimentary beverage (water would've been great) and never given a wait time at the front. I have a photoshoot today and figured going here would save me some time - not the case. Used to go here prior to doing my own sets. Only occasionally will you get someone who doesn't rush and actually does a good job. The person i went with got a tropical pedicure ($47) i got a classic pedicure ($40). The classic was your generic pedi. No frills about it. The only difference about the tropical was the scrub, not worth the $7 in my opinion. This place has potential to be the #1 spot since the area is so convenient to so many new developments & is very chic on the inside. While the prices are higher they quality should be better.
