Stopped by Capital One Café on a cold winter day in D.C. to get a matcha latte. They were very friendly and efficient, and even gave me a macaron to go with my drink. The café is clean and spacious and has lots of seating, power outlets, and wifi. This would be a good place to bring a laptop to get some work done, or just enjoy a drink. If you have a Capital One or Discover card, drinks are half off, and you can reserve one of the workspaces.

Stopped by here for a quick visit for warm latte on a such a cold windy Friday! Grabbed Cinnamon Maple latte from one of the specials menu and it didn't disappoint. I usually feel indifference w cinnamon but wanted the maple latte so decided on it. And I'm glad I did since had a perfect sweetness with not overpowering cinnamon :): it's a combined with banking and cafe and seems like there's a couple of individual rooms for ppl who'd like their own pod :) Oh you have to flag one of the securities to be let into the bathroom, fyi!

The Capital One Café sits right in the heart of Chinatown. For anyone new to the area, today's Chinatown began taking shape in 1931 around 7th and H Streets NW. Over the years, vibrant Chinese signage, decorative railings, and other cultural design elements helped define the neighborhood's identity and celebrate the heritage of the community that built it. This brings a unique city charm to the Capital One experience. Be mindful though that you may pass by homeless along the path of your visit. At entrance, you are greeted by Capital One staff who are circulating the café. Staff are accommodating and loop around frequently that seem to keep the area up to standard. Management can be very direct in delivery to ensure policies are not broken. There is a code on the door provided by staff that you'll need to access the bathroom. Overall, I enjoyed the blueberry pastry and seasonal gingerbread latte! The sandwiches looked delicious as well, so I look forward to trying one on my next visit. Guest with a Capital One credit card receive discounts and access to their workroom areas -- which is a nice perk! I'll be back try the breakfast sandwich!

Nice space with Plenty of seating, & access to outlets and free wifi. Good mixed playlist. Friendly service (it's a lot of representatives + security who check on you regularly). Pumpkin spice latte (iced w/ oat milk) 4/5 Chai latte 3/5- real mild Chai flavor.. just okay. Ham and cheese croissant 4/5 - its good flavor -wise. A little messy to eat because of the ham is stacked and topped w/cheese on the Crossaint and I'm used to it being like folded or integrated more. So essentially you get bites of ham or a big part of bread, not really a lot of cohesive bites. Security officer on site. 50%of drinks, If you use your capital card. Big plus. Stop in and show them some love!

Great place to relax with some beverage or food. Inside space is very spacious with couches, tables and even private stuff rooms for those who need quiet work conditions. The drink menu has many handcrafted drinks, both hot and cold. I got a plain coffee, my companion has a cafe mocha (not too sweet). Both were good. They have bathrooms for customers, just let the guards know and they will walk you towards a hallway and unlock one for you. If you have a capital one credit or debit card you also get 50% off drinks.

I enjoyed stopping by to have a cup of drink. The location is in the center of Chinatown, the cafe is spacious and comfortable. The drinks are good, especially if I use capital one card which gives 1/2 price.

Chill atmosphere, helpful staff, and a cinammon-y chai latte that exceeded expectations. Great stop if you're in the Chinatown area and need a pick-me-up!

Always quick and efficient service as well as being relatively kept clean Capital One café! This time I got the card to mom Ginger Matcha latte and it was sweet and perfect for fall. I didn't really taste much too much of the Matcha so it's mainly just a sweet spiced drink, but it was still great nonetheless and really warming on a very cold day.

I am from California, and have been to many Verve coffee shops, so I was curious to see how it matched up. Verve is known for high quality coffee and has a bit of a cult following so it's nice seeing one on the east coast! I love that you get 50% if you use your capital one card, and I was very happy with my drink! Our barista was very friendly and my cappuccino was great!

This is my number 1 most visited capital one cafe. Their matcha latte is always reliable. They always have friendly faces, and it's always cool inside. Glad to be a cap one customer

After many visits of taking advantage of their free beverage Monday deal, I can attest that their matcha more suited to be served hot than iced.

I'm a super fan of capital one cafe! Truly wish I was a part of the rollout & brand/product team! Coolest concept for a bank! Met with a coworking group and we all ordered the holiday specials. My gingerbread latte was nice. Love the discount. The associate was kind though he was alone handling all orders that had to be tough on him. The security guard was helpful and attentive. The restroom was clean & smelled fine & was large. Granted it was 10am. The rooms stayed busy so yes important to reserve at this location. Very spacious cafe and in a great area! Go, enjoy!!

They were playing bossa and jazz. I opted for the Aren latte and Indonesian beef rissole. Aren latte: 5/5 Latte with an in-house made Aren (palm sugar from West Java) for that hint of molasses and dark brown sugar This was one of my favorite coffees I've had in a while. There was a delicious coffee taste not overshadowed but rather enhanced by the smoky sweet taste of the Aren. I'll be thinking about this latte for a while. Indonesian beef rissole: 3/5 Batter-like skin rolled in breadcrumbs filled with savory ground halal beef & sautéed vegetables While I've never had this dish before, I googled pictures of what it should look like, and mine seemed to have significantly less meat than it should've. The taste was still delicious and seasoned and hearty, but it was mostly mush with some veggies and hardly any beef. While I thought the rissole was disappointing, I love the aren latte so much I'll still keep the 5 star review.

I tend to like sugar (too much) but try to drink black sometimes to try to appreciate the actual coffee flavor and for health reasons. Nice way to hydrate in a fancy way. Art work doesn't typically grab me but this art work did. If I had money, time, and comfortable accessibility to purchase, I would. I am sure I could order online and have shipped but I like to avoid shipping costs if I can. The realism and detail grab me in a way I like. The DC tunnel views that continue to beautify DC's respectable metro system show you that Jimmy is truly a local DC artist. It is reminiscent for me of Juniper Lane's music album cover Tightrope. I didn't notice this until after the fact but apparently when you buy art directly from here you get 15% of your purchase for more coffee here too. Wow. Why the missing star? This is kinda picky but if I wasn't looking or a foreigner, I could've accidentally added hand sanitizer to my coffee and well that's a big no no. Granted the bottle is labeled but I am not a fan of this being in the same area as the coffee add-ons. I know spacing is tight and maybe someone moved this bottle in this area but I don't get that sense and just think it's not a good setup. If this place wanted to expand , I think finding good NYC locations would be optimal as well. I am unsure if Philly would be good or not as an additional location as a coffee culture crowd. Of course I would still come back. It was worth the 15 min walk from the convention center in this hot August weather.

We did the Za'atar Gruyère Croissant, chocolate croissant, the cheese biscuit item they had (don't remember exact name) and the sfogliatelle. I'm in search of the best croissant in DC, so I regret not getting the regular croissant on this visit, but the chocolate croissant gave me an idea of what to expect. Buttery, flaky, crispy, with just the perfect amount of sweetness. The typical chocolate croissant was my personal favorite. When we asked what the most popular items were, we were surprised it wasn't the more classic bakery items, but we enjoyed what we tried. We want to go back soon to try some other items as well.
