This café is a fun concept. They have a large variety and selection of food and beverages. It is more expansive of a menu than Starbucks. Unfortunately, if you don't have the Capital One card it is quite expensive. With the Capital One card, handcrafted drinks are 50% off. It is 3 levels with a variety of seating options. The restroom had a super long line and was tiny. This could be improved. Cool café overall especially if you are a capital one card holder.

The cardamom ginger latte with skim milk is such a good sweet treat to get for this season at the Capital One Cafes. They also gave me a free sleeve of macarons after purchase! It's very nice of Capital One to provide these little gifts to the community and Capital One holders. The staff isn't too knowledgeable about card questions--more about financial literacy.

I had randomly remembered that cap 1 card users when ordering a beverage ( latte coffee matcha etc not including bottled water/ pre packaged items) and pay with your capital one card the beverage will be 50% off! so i decided to try their cherry vanilla matcha latte from their spring sips menu per the recommendation of the cashier/ barista with oat milk and it did not disappoint! I love that the oat milk was califia farms blended barista oat beverage and the drink didnt take long at all to make! I was informed of upstairs and downstairs seating and chose upstairs! The latte was smooth delicious layered and creamy, and not too sweet! I wonder what brand of matcha they use? either way I see myself coming back to try a latte when the espresso machine is up and running again! Great job cap 1 cafe DC

Went there during the shutdown not knowing if they had a deals for those affected. We were looking to buy hot drinks with our capital one credit cards to score 50% off. Line was long to order but moved quickly. When we got closer to the counter we saw a sign indicating that furloughed employees get a free cup of tea or daybreaker coffee. We tried the latter. It was flavorful, robust and smooth. Even more we were so grateful for the kind gesture during this time. Service was also very friendly. They had free holiday cards and gift labels for the taking. Many thanks your generosity.

Nothing beats their free Monday deal! Coffee is spectacular and the vibes are immaculate. This place rocks! Their coffee is just bitter enough that it gives you that much needed afternoon perk-up. They even have an interesting sustainability trend where you can upgrade to a clay cup - very forward thinking!

A frequent pick me up location for me on Sundays. They released the new spring cherry blossom drink menu and I was able to try out their cherry vanilla Matcha latte definitely expected a sweet drink and perhaps because I got it in hot. The iced version would happen a little bit less sweet overall still great drink and great service at this location.

For the first time in my life I've actually been excited about Mondays! Wifey and I have never been coffee regulars but with free coffee every Monday over the summer or half price coffee for the capital one cardholdholders, we've established a little routine, lol. Of course it's top notch coffee with options like the pourovers or cappuccinos or lattes with a variety of flavors like honey lavender or pumpkin pie or chai or green tea! It's also a great vibe in there as a spot to enjoy a conversation or to get work done. You can even book a nook at the downtown location if you want more privacy/silence. I just prefer this Georgetown location because, well, it's got the Georgetown charm inside and out! Last time I was there I also conveniently used their atm to pull out some money. I'm liking the new concept. Not to mention, all of the employees are very attentive and pleasant people.

I've been to this capital one cafe a few times, and it's a great coffee shop. There's plenty of space for seating, lounging and working. They serve coffee from Verve. They also offer 50% beverages for Capital One card holders.

I've been wanting to check out this cafe for a while now, and I'm so glad I did. 50% off your coffee using a Capital One credit card...yas!!!

This is a really cool concept for cafe lovers and Venture X card holders. The middle floor features a cafe. All of the other floors are great to do some work and people watch. My favorite floor was the top floor where you can even rent a room. The location was really clean and the seats were really comfy. I enjoyed my strawberry matcha drink and the fruit danish. If you present your Venture X card you do get half off food and drink. Definitely a great deal considering the prices in the area. The wait times can be long so do expect a wait on the weekends.

I have only been to the cafes in DC and Miami, but I love them. They give you tons more space and seating options, compared to a regular coffee shop, to chill and lounge, study, get work done, eat and drink in first-come-first-serve and/or reservable like co-working spaces. If you have time to kill, it gives you a hideout to avoid the heat/cold, charge your phone, go to clean bathroom. As others have said, you also get 50% off coffee drinks if you are a cardholder. From time to time they also have freebies, games, in addition to free drinks on Mondays. The second floor in Georgetown is the perfect location to people watch.

Difficult to park nearby. Cafe is not a plus. Basic banking, such as getting cash dominations that are not in the ATM, is difficult there.

The folks on this side were very sweet and helpful. When we went over to "Wired" to get our coffees, there were a bunch of *other* treats over there, which nobody told us about, so that was annoying because then we would have ordered way fewer items. So we got a couple more goodies here as well as our iced coffees and a hot cocoa for our kiddo. The folks on this side were unfriendly and uninterested in customer service ("Just checking in on our quiche...?";"Oh, we totally forgot. We'll put it in now."). We weren't impressed with most of our items though some were better than others. Unsurprisingly, the cupcakes were the best; we got the nutella and "unicorn" ones, and both were moist with excellent frostings. We especially appreciated the filling in the nutella. The chocolate chip cookie was terrible--our daughter, a cookie fiend, refused to have another bite of it. We liked the novelty of the "orange dream" shortcake. As for the other stuff, the spicy sausage biscuit was not spicy at all and had the consistency of rubber. The quiche that finally came out was too oily, but we all liked the decadent cinnamon roll. Bit of a mixed bag all around, so we're settling on three stars. We ourselves won't be back, but others might have a better experience on a different day.

I tend to like sugar (too much) but try to drink black sometimes to try to appreciate the actual coffee flavor and for health reasons. Nice way to hydrate in a fancy way. Art work doesn't typically grab me but this art work did. If I had money, time, and comfortable accessibility to purchase, I would. I am sure I could order online and have shipped but I like to avoid shipping costs if I can. The realism and detail grab me in a way I like. The DC tunnel views that continue to beautify DC's respectable metro system show you that Jimmy is truly a local DC artist. It is reminiscent for me of Juniper Lane's music album cover Tightrope. I didn't notice this until after the fact but apparently when you buy art directly from here you get 15% of your purchase for more coffee here too. Wow. Why the missing star? This is kinda picky but if I wasn't looking or a foreigner, I could've accidentally added hand sanitizer to my coffee and well that's a big no no. Granted the bottle is labeled but I am not a fan of this being in the same area as the coffee add-ons. I know spacing is tight and maybe someone moved this bottle in this area but I don't get that sense and just think it's not a good setup. If this place wanted to expand , I think finding good NYC locations would be optimal as well. I am unsure if Philly would be good or not as an additional location as a coffee culture crowd. Of course I would still come back. It was worth the 15 min walk from the convention center in this hot August weather.
