Techs- Incompetent- see pics- left a plastic bag and a rag under the hood after AND did not tighten my skid plate. caused bolts to come out...it was a simple oil change Sales staff- laaaaacking communication and trying to problem solve by sending "my guy" to auto zone for an OE bolt for my Raptor R. then promise me Monday...no wait 2-3 days...now after 6 they tell me monday... nah homie. Owner-NO INTEGRITY. didn't apologize or take responsibility. Instead he wanted to "sever the relationship". we ain't dating! FIX THE PROBLEM. He would rather refund me more money than reimburse me for the bolts i got from the dealer down the road. SMH sh*t happens in a shop...i know that more than most...but what defines the character of a shop is how they deal with it. Obviously the owner, Eben doesn't care for his customers.

I brought the car into another mechanic who had the car up and running in a little over an hour. This mechanic said the mechanic at Amigo Tire and Auto made the car think it was being stolen and so shut everything down which is why Amigo tire was unable connect to the computer. Additionally, he said the ignition problem was common with the Honda Fit and that the ignition parts were easily rebuilt and that Amigo Tire replaced the ignition parts unnecessarily. At best Amigo Tire's mechanic is either completely uninformed about the task he took on or the establishment is completely unscrupulous. I believe its both.

We stayed there 4 nights with perfect weather; easy to get around downtown. A bonus were the gorgeous sunsets from the hilltop overlooking Santa Fe. There were helpful attendants; very clean bathrooms, & multiple separate shower stalls. Also a nice laundry room. We will most definitely stay there if we ever go back through Santa Fe.

Of course, winterizing was supposed to be done. Did they do that? No! Now I am having to get the winterizing done someplace else. If there is any damage, I will be suing them in small claims court. I paid a quick visit to the dealership in Albuquerque and after a pretty cold welcome there decided to check out the one in Santa Fe, slightly out of the way but it is not a real inconvenience. I was welcome there by Eric Trowbridge, director of the service department, and even though he was having a busy week (4th of July) he took the time to listen to my concerns. We made an appointment for the following Monday. Him and his team approached the diagnostic step by step and were able to pinpoint exactly what was wrong with my vehicle (I was informed that it would be a few days to get everything sorted out - which was not a problem as I had been provided with a LR loaner vehicle, once again thank you for not putting me in a rental car - and also informed daily of what steps were taken). Once I picked up my car, not only had they fixed everything that needed to be fixed they also had left it pristine (very different than the dirty footprints left everywhere after each visit in Hanover, MA). Today, I went there to get new rims and tires installed and they took the time to adjust the alignment without charging me for it. The tires had arrived more than a week prior and they stored them for free. They also handled the reception of my rims coming from the UK without asking a question. As I arrived there this morning (late), the tires were mounted on the rims and ready to be installed. They did a perfect job and put my old set of wheels in my trunk while complementing me on my vehicle. Let's not forget the delightful Patricia working the front desk. All I can say is that this is exactly the type of customer service that I expect from a luxury brand such as Land Rover and the Santa Fe dealership should be THE model to flow for all others around the country. Once again THANK YOU for all the hard work, I am looking forward to my next visit and highly advise anyone in the area (ABQ, Santa Fe and further) to use your services.

The vehicle is beautiful, and I was prepared to discuss purchasing it and arranging everything from Georgia. What immediately turned me off was being told that I would need to put $5,000 to $10,000 down. I found that extremely off-putting. At the time this was communicated to me, I had not received financing terms from a bank showing that a lender required me to put $5,000 or $10,000 down. If a lender reviews my credit and says a certain amount is required for approval, that's one thing. But I don't appreciate a salesperson presenting such a large down payment as though that is simply what I need to bring to purchase the vehicle. I have purchased and financed vehicles before, and I expect the actual lender to determine the financing requirements based on my application, the vehicle, and the amount being financed. Being an out-of-state buyer should not mean I automatically need to hand over $5,000 to $10,000 of my money upfront. If there is a specific dealership policy for out-of-state customers, that should be clearly disclosed and explained. The vehicle itself may be beautiful, but this interaction completely changed my interest in doing business here. I would recommend that prospective buyers ask upfront whether the dealership has its own minimum down-payment requirements and get all financing terms in writing before proceeding.

The drivers seat and touch screen were in different positions then when the car was received, and whoever moved the vehicle left black smudges on the door handle and seat. This is totally unacceptable. A high class respected dealership would never return a vehicle in this condition. Unfortunately it's Santa Fe's only BMW option.

Not only did Amy and Annie do everything possible to get me in and out before my ETD, they were both warm and funny and authentically welcoming. Ari and his team are knowledgeable, skillful, and compassionate. While handling my tune up they found and resolved many issues for me, and alerted me to additional issues that might wait until after I return. Ari took the time to go over in detail, with both photos and drawings, everything that they discovered, and how they fixed the most pressing problems. They even popped my rear bumper back into shape where someone had caught the edge. Ari was keenly present and patient while reporting his findings. He answered all my questions and made helpful suggestions regarding what might be the next priortiy to address when I am ready. I walked away smiling, feeling like I received so much for a super reasonable final bill. I am beyond impressed. I feel 100% safe driving across the desert and beyond, and am looking forward to the next time I visit Master Tech. The integrity and caring are truly heartening. I've found my forever mechanic.

Little did i know that Ari thoroughly ripped me off. He initially told me via text that my bill for the work would be $1100 plus tax but when i arrived to collect my vehicle, the price was more: $1587.51 Ari explained that my van needed new software for the electric engine and of course Chryslar charged for the software but having called the dealership after, I learned that Chryslar didn't charge anything for new software, Ari charged me $495 for software and charged me for labor (an hour) which normally takes 15-20 seconds to upload. He told me that he had to replace the electrical harness to replace the broken hood latch switch. If I had the foresight to order the hood light switch on Amazon, it would have cost $35.00, Ari charged me $225.00 for this item. After paying for service, I noticed that even though supposedly doing a overall performance check, ($75) they didn't bother to air up one of my tires, leaving me in a lurch and having to get it done somewhere else. At the performance review, Ari explained the repairs still needed on my vehicle, these included two new tires, a tuneup, allignment, replacing the spark plugs and other maintenance stuff. Of course, Ari and his technicians could do all of these repairs. He said that spark plugs would cost $400. When I looked them up on Amazon, they were priced at $99.00. I won't take him up on his offer to do the work on my vehicle. Thank goodness, I didn't make another appointment with Ari! Don't read any of the positive reviews, they were written by owner Ari. If you notice, the positive reviews are only a paragraph in length, whereas the negative ones are longer to include all of the complaints. I noticed advertisements for Master Tech in our local newspaper. How many mechanics need to advertise their services? Only the ones that have alienated previous clients, only the ones that are beginning to see their over charging finally costing them their reputations. Santa Fe is a "word of mouth" town, Ari 's karma is finally catching up to him and unfortunately, to the rest of the technicians that work at his garage. I told my friend that he needs to find another job. Even though I had to pay through the teeth, and I felt like I had been scammed, the garage fixed my car. It really was a win/win.

I called and they were immediately helpful looked at my vehicle within the hour. I feared it would be a serious/expensive fix with the computer since I replaced my battery within the month. The good parts are very good -- very friendly and helpful people who give back to the community…read more Doing a comprehensive inspection on your vehicle in return for a donated bag of groceries is a really outstanding gesture of care. You get photos and detailed notes on the inspection electronically, and they also print out a list of their findings for you to have. Now for the not-so-good. The major not-good is the outrageous prices they quoted in their estimate for suggested and needed repairs. Most of the items on the list were things we could do ourselves for far less money. Some were curious -- when the key fob and interior button wouldn't open the trunk, it seems the mechanic never tried just using the manual release on the trunk itself, which works fine. Similarly, they wanted a couple hundred dollars to diagnose why the TPMS system light was flashing, but they never aired the tires up to spec or test drove the vehicle to see if the light went steady or went out. And nearly five hundred dollars to replace the battery? I'm a shade-tree mechanic from way back, and it feels insulting to be quoted exorbitant prices for things that anyone who can follow directions can do. So, if your car repairs are paid for by insurance and the adjuster approves, or if you have an unlimited car repair budget, I'm sure this shop will do a great job, and you'll love interacting with the personnel. But we have already gotten the oil changed for less than 2/3 of their quoted price, and have two quotes on some major service that would have cost literally one to two thousand dollars more at this shop, so we'll reluctantly pass on any further work there.
