I cannot believe the level of poor customer service and sheer rudeness of the woman at the counter…read morethis morning. Sassy, unkind, and unaccomodating. Ma'am if you don't like your job, don't work there. I've been choosing O'Reilly for years BECAUSE they are known to be reliable and helpful. NOT SO this morning. We spent $100 on a battery the day prior for our RV while stopping over for the night. Got it to camp and the battery registered as half full. By morning, our LED lights wouldn't power on. No big deal, right? Just thought we'd bring it back and exchange for one that had power seeing as how its brand new. With an air of complete and utter rudeness, she tested it and said 'our policy is not to return it but charge it for 24 hours before doing anything, and if we don't like it we can wait for a manager.' WOW. I don't mind company policy, in fact I get it, but the way in which it was delivered was so off putting and rude, I am seriously considering never being a repeat customer to O'Reilly's. 100% unnecessary. She even said, 'It was probably just our vehicle, or whatever.' To the manager: you may want to employ those who represent your company well. She definitely does not.

Santa Fe is all about recycling and going green. You get charged a nickel at most places, from the…read moreHome Depot to Sprouts just for not bringing in you own grocery bag to use. So I was surprised that when I had a couple of box springs I wanted to recycle I couldn't find a recycling center or city dump to take them to. There was absolutely nothing online directing me on where to go. Fortunately one of the metal recycling centers I did talk to knew of the Buckman Road Recycling and Transfer Station. From there, I was able to find it online, but then when I went there I was told it was for commercial use only, and then was redirected to this correct address. Whew! Anyway they do charge for dumping here, but their fees are reasonable. They accept green disposal items such as tree branches and so on.
