Great customer service! Went in for a battery and they had it in stock and even offered to install it.

Receipt read complimentary inspection. Where are the results? None because they damaged something. The car isn't functioning properly. They immediately said it is completely unrelated to the work they did. The car had the problem when they gave me the keys and before I could even get into the car. I had to climb through the passenger side and drive the 50ft or less from the parking spot to the bay to tell them. They wanted me to pay to diagnose the problem they caused. Continued to say the guy that parked my car and left the driver door locked and unable to unlock and the passenger and rear doors unlocked not able to lock with manual key or fob said there was nothing wrong when he had the car so even though it didn't leave the lot it must be my problem. The dash time and temp keep randomly switching from Fahrenheit to Celsius and back again and the radio randomly switches to Sirius radio. I left them the car because it can't be locked and not safe. They have only repeatedly told me it is unrelated while still not able to tell me what is causing it. They are determined to stick to their story regardless of implausibility and lack of car diagnosis.

Earlier today, I went to this dealership Garcia Volkswagen of Santa Fe and the experience was…read moreunpleasant. This dealership is shady and most of the staff that I interacted with today was manipulative and gas-lighting. I have been looking for a new vehicle for over a year now and have done numerous research on Volkswagen Taos. I found a gorgeous pure white 2022 Volkswagen Taos on this lot going for $20,500. I reached out to this dealership yesterday (Friday) to confirm that they still had this vehicle on the lot before I made the trip to Santa Fe. I specifically asked in the message if they could *email* me on the confirmation and what the out the door (OTD) price was. I received a *phone call* instead of an *email* from Art (sales Manager) and *only* a confirmation that the vehicle was available. I made it to the dealership this morning (Saturday), I test drove this vehicle and was wanting to purchase it. I already had a pre-approval from my Credit Union (CU) and this speficifc dealership was listed as their preferred dealer (which is why I even came out to Santa Fe). This vehicle was well within my amount of pre-approval. I was not over the amount, nor was I trying to waste the dealership's time or resources. Actually, I was hoping to avoid the drama and shady business by using a dealership partnered with my CU. Unfortunately, all I got was shady business practices, runaround, time wasting and gas-lighting experience. When I asked for the OTD price I was given the price for "another" vehicle on the lot, going for a total price of 23k. I looked over the breakdown price and questioned why the car was for $22k instead of $20,500 as advertised on their website. The salesman had asked me where I was getting this information from. As I was trying to show the salesman with my phone the vehicle price for $20,500. The vehicle was removed from their website. Luckily, I had taken a screenshot of this vehicle with the price and was able to verify my information. The salesman went back to tell Art the discrepancies, when the salesman came back with the 'actual' price of the vehicle I was inquiring about, he had followed up with a lame excuse stating 'Art hasn't had his coffee yet.'. When negotiations started, instead of Art coming down to help his staff- another staff member came to tell me that I was being unreasonable. He did not know the whole story of how we got from point A to Point B, he would not let me or the salesman explain that Art destroyed my trust. This staff member would not meet me in the middle of talking down the price. The staff member told me that I needed to make a better offer to them (as if they are the ones trying to buy a vehicle from me). I walked out. If I went through the pains to get pre-approved and went through 'trusted preferred dealership' from my CU. I shouldn't be given this runaround, lying and gas-lighting experience. I was trying to get a car that I could afford within my budget and not something over my pre-approved amount. It is also shady to remove a listing on a vehicle that someone is attempting to purchase and try to change the price of said vehicle. I am also one to follow up with proof please see attached photo's. 1.) The vehicle's price listed on the website, 2.) The unfounded page of said vehicle in question (Also the original link of the vehicle [https://www.volkswagenofsantafe.com/used/Volkswagen/2022-Volkswagen-Taos-for-sale-santa-fe-nm-98ed65dbac1816f184c8d2cb5716c46e.htm]). 3.) As of Saturday 01/18/2025 01:30pm this is the used vehicle on 'currently' on the lot which does not include this vehicle.
