Ashley refuses to send a technician out to finish the work because we are now outside of the 1-year warranty, despite that we reported the original issue immediately after the set arrived, well within the 1-year warranty. I can't recommend Ashley Furniture given the lack of commitment to customer happiness and I personally do not plan to buy any further furniture there - practically speaking, as we are in the process of buying a new house, we will need furniture and so the cost of the loss of our business is quite a bit greater than sending a technician out to touch up 3 chairs.

I even went to the address listed in Apple Maps and they had moved. The call center is a gd nightmare. I must've called them five times to explain our situation. They tried to overcharge me for a warranty. They tried to charge me for parts that weren't needed. They promised me an appointment and then moved it back five days. A second tech had to come back a different week. One of the techs missed a diagnosis and also canceled one of the appointments. He was overtly very frustrated with the call center as well and it resulted in an unpleasant demeanor. Family of five without a dishwasher for weeks is very stressful. Taylor is great.

Terrible customer service, and less than a year later a no-frost freezer theoretically still under warranty with ice dams but can't get it fixed. I have the AllState extra protection and cannot get an appointment scheduled either through Grand or AllState for someone to repair it or at least look at it. This was bad from the beginning. I walked in knowing the freezer I wanted, and Chris Chappell just had to write up the $1K order. When delivered, they set the door up on the wrong side. I called Chris's direct line (according to his card - and on a day he was working, also according to his card) and left a voicemail message. He never called back. I called customer service. They basically said this was my problem that I would be charged for so they forwarded my call back to the store. (The black hole from which calls are not returned.)
