I will also add that during the party the mechanical bull started throwing children against the wall, I phoned Brian, who sent a guy named hoser out to repair the unit. He repaired it and left right away, not saying a word.

But Sergenian's crew was absolutely fantastic, every single step of the way! (5-stars isn't enough!) Starting with Russ' consultation, he is the epitome of professionalism, always being sure to not over-promise, or just agree to everything I say to make the sale. And when Kyle and Armando came to do the work, they continued with extremely specific discussions of the technique, timeline, expectations, etc. They worked diligently, with extreme consideration for my home, my dog, and fully discussing all of the steps along the way. Out-standing! And the quality of their work is A+ to boot. In this day and age, it is incredibly difficult to find contractors who are reliable, experts, diligent, considerate, and actually deliver on what they say. You are lucky if you get two of those qualities, but Russ, Kyle and Armando delivered in full in every single category; Outstanding! (Did I mention how nice all of the office staff was as well? They were; and efficient, too!) I have had an *extremely* mixed bag of experiences dealing with contractors here in Madison, from absolutely miserable schiesters I've been tempted to take to court to the very good ones who've been great and gotten the job done. But this group of individuals was so outstandingly great, I wish they'd take up every other trade, and solve all of my remodeling needs! To be clear, I don't work for Sergenians, and I'm not related to anyone there (!) but I think when you come across such an amazing, talented team, who cares deeply, and actually does their job incredibly well (at reasonable cost, no less!), well, that deserves a minute of my time to say thanks, for a job more than well done. Turns out there are still some good people out there, just gotta find them as you wade through the opportunists and such...faith in humanity restored through flooring! ;-} (And almost forgot, but the flooring was *black* which is extremely non-standard! I'd looked and talked with several other companies, always getting a "...yeah I think we can do something like that" vibe; not what you want to hear. But Sergenians was incredibly explicit about what can and cannot be done, and they might say "minimizing expectations," but in reality, the final floor is absolutely glorious, way BEYOND what I'd even hoped for!) Ok, time to stop the ramble, and I'm gonna go enjoy my new floors! (And in the photos I'm posting, it is hard to capture the rich black, because if you go "true" to color, it looks so dark you see no detail...but to see any detail, you have to brighten up, and they don't look like that. Such are the limitations of "standard" photography; HDR photos would be ideal. The takeaway point is that IN-PERSON, the floor looks SPECTACULAR! ...and yes, black floors will show dog hair, dust, etc., but a small price for the best looking floors ever!)

I was lucky to have Molly assist me because I was overwhelmed, not being someone who shops for carpet often. Molly found samples closer to what I wanted than I had found. I was stuck and she was patient and helpful, never pushy. I ended up choosing a large and fabulous area rug which Sergenians have several stacks of. Jacob was also very helpful finding runner choices for me.

I would not recommend using these guys. The amount may be minor but it's not right to pay for a service that was not utilized and to not get any response when inquiring about it. A tad dishonest!

The location is very easy to find and Gerry was super nice getting everything set up and explaining all the processes. He was able to put some bottom pieces to lift up my storage (since in cardboard boxes) since the floor gets cold. Gerry clearly walked through how to open and close the locker. They mentioned that they do daily checks on the units for security and will call you if something happens. There are also cameras dispersed. Overall, it was super pleasant and efficient experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a space for storage!

When Aspen gets busy, they get VERY busy, and Eric -- I conjecture -- don't quote me -- would need to turn away clients or ask them to go on a waiting list for the following year. Mr. Eric, Ms. Lindsey, and the rest of their brilliant crew have been working on a multi-year project for me putting in hardscape, including grading and, ultimately, changing (soft-scaping) our two acres from lawn to native plants+wildlife flower garden. Eric and crew are experts on native plants. The more I read about "lawns," the more I cringe every time I pass one on the road. Lawns, being non-native plants, they are animal-torturers -- ironically, lawns passively mow down animals. Think of lawns as efficient animal-disposal machines. Do the planet (and your neighborhood) a favor and make your land friendly to critters by insisting on native plants. Native plants and animals evolved together over millions of years, so when one's land doesn't have native plants, wildlife starves, all the way up and down the food-chain. Lawns are gasoline- and water-guzzlers. The lawn industry uses up a humongous amount of petroleum products merely in lawn-mowing. I am a "Gone the Lawn" person now. Lawns are appropriate ONLY under certain circumstances, like one is a croquet fanatic. I never knew that gardening was year-round. April is the month everyone waits for, but planning starts the previous autumn. Eric's physically-demanding season winds down in mid-November, so let him see your plot before the snows hide the land. Autumn is the best time to start brainstorming the design phase for the following April. Eric and crew are not only landscapers but artists.

The delivery driver proceeded to dump the right stuff ON TOP of the wrong stuff while we weren't home. So we had the pleasure of both separating the right grave from the wrong gravel, and had to find a use for the wrong stuff that we partially paid for. Good rock. Poor handling of logistics. Will probably come here as a last resort in the future unfortunately.

There was a small hiccup as the gentleman that took my order didn't actually place it but when I called later in the day to pay, this guy placed the order and was able to have it delivered the day I needed it to. Just had the 2nd delivery dropped off and had a few questions. The driver was able to answer each question and in a friendly manner.
