A complete test with…read moreregards to every detail was done by the friendly and helpful staffs and Dr. Bloch, a diagnosis was made. My son was put on a serious eye muscles exercise for his eyes to work together, and also a training for better reading habit. The improvement was astonishing! In just a few weeks, his symptoms were almost gone, and he started developing better reading habit. His not even complete with the whole program yet, but his reading is already off the chart (some at high school or college level), but his performance in sports also improved. When I look for any doctor, i care about their medical knowledge, patience to listen and appreciate my concerns and if they are respected by their colleagues and patients. Dr. Bloch is more than that, he's passionate about what he's doing, and he genuinely cares. These good qualities also show in the tidiness of his office, and his whole team of staffs. My family really appreciates this partnership in this process with Dr. Bloch and his team.

Watching my child struggle created so much anxiety for the whole family. I didn't know what to do. A friend told me to see Dr. Bloch. I thought what I have to lose at this point. Dr Bloch has changed my son's life. Within one month he is bringing me chapter books to read. Word recognition, fluency, reading speed, and confidence have improved 100% from where we started. It is an amazing program!

This isn't directly related to any child, however, I wanted to share what a quality person the…read moreowner is. I signed up through the dmv website to take my CA written exam on line. Unfortunately I didn't have a laptop with a webcam handy. I called every business and/or library and none of them had computers to rent with cams. I called the learning center and they allowed me to utilize there computer and webcam in a private room free of charge. I still can't believe how kind and accommodating they were? I can only imagine this is how they treat all the parents and children that need the learning center. Thanks again for your kindness. Phil

My son is very complicated to say the least. He is ASD, TBI, severe auditory and visual processing, high sensory integration, Irlens Syndrome, extreme anxiety, dyslexia and does not trust anyone. We have not been successful anywhere until here at ELC. Lynda got him in every way and I was taken back. I didn't have to tell her his needs or what we have found that worked for him. She told me and I kept saying yep that's it!!!! She understands how auditory and visual processing affects the ability to learn. They know when to push but not to much. They are looking at body language, fidgeting, behaviors to make sure he is okay. They work with you and your child not against you. One saying that really sticks with me is when Lynda said to me," we are not going to force him to learn our way there are over 20 ways he can learn we just need to figure out which one works best for him." As you can tell I highly, highly recommend ELC. I have referred other parents that have been so frustrated with the access to learning and all live me for recommending ELC. After you speak with Lynda you will understand it all !!!!

We visited both Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Able to get a deep dive into the world of Cambodia. One of the most impactful partss of the trip was volunteering at schools, where I got too connect with children and help those who are less fortunate. Seeing the smiles on their faces and experiencing their warmth was truly humbling. Lovely Hearts made sure everything was well organized, from travel logistics to meaningful service opportunities, making this both an eye-opening and deeply fulfilling experience. If you're looking for an organization that truly changes lives....both for volunteers and the people they serve.....Lovely Hearts is it. Thank you for giving me a chance to see the world in a new way. #NonProfit #GiveBack #Cambodia #TravelWithPurpose #LovelyHearts

We help you get engaged in helping your own community with your own talents and strengths, while helping connect you to a bigger world, where you can take a tour with us to Cambodia to help out, building water wells, helping at schools, seeing Temples, and all that your heart desires. We are unique because our tours are individualized with your interests, which is also how we help bridge people with community service. We make sure you have a wonderful, good experience and feel more connected with your community. We raise money to give back to our communities by being hands on. Our goal is to not only empower through learning and education endeavors, but to also help individuals learn more about other helpful programs, while potentially even getting the training and experience you need to apply for a job or to elevate your experience. We try to attend events and street fairs, while making sure our community members feel cared for and connected. Our first year we raised over $13k on our mission. All the money raised was given back to the community. Our current international projects are mostly in Cambodia, where we have build an NGO from the ground up, have set up educational classes at Tiny Toones Cambodia, and we hope to continue expanding. This year, we were already able to gift a volunteer scholarship for an application to help in Cambodia.
