Let's just state the facts here alright... This is first and foremost a show about Prohibition Chicago in the 1930 packed full of jokes, dancing girls, songs and a strong encouragement to drink because it is a Speakeasy in the 1930s. This is not a gourmet meal served with classical music and Shakespearian actors. Ok so get the VIP package if you don't have kids. You get to arrive 90 minutes early and have the chance to enjoy the upstairs lounge, where they offer you a drink from the bar, appetizers and a little bit of (free) gambling. Then a little bit before general admission is admitted you are escorted to your table by some wise guys and then sent off to the Italian buffet to retrieve your dinner. There you will find a selection of pastas, lasagna, pizzas, chicken nuggets and a carving station just name a few items. Don't worry Bout grabbing everything at once, unlike other dinner theaters in the area, this is all you can eat. Not only that, it's all you can drink. Remember, it's a Speakeasy. So they have a special menu of well drinks, beers, wines and soft drinks to choose from that are included with the price of admission. ( regular or VIP). Once everyone is seated Miss Jewel and her crew take you on a wild adventure filled with music and mayhem. We recently attended the dinner/show. The actors worked hard to provide a good performance, but it was more musical/dancing rather than that of a mob/gang theme. As for the restaurant/theater, it was absolutely filthy. The floors, carpets and especially bathrooms were disgusting. I'm actually surprised the health department of Florida hasn't shut them down. They kept your glass filled with alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages but the food was horrible...nothing more than you can get at a fast food/convenience store. Well, where do I start...some staff were pleasant and doing their job..others were just not very good at all. Food was not good. Their so called Italian food was not so Italian what so ever. Tasted like it came straight out of a can, onto your plate, then straight to the table. Cold and just yuk. The show was the equivalent of a bad day at a flea market in the middle of August in Florida.. Boring, sleepy and outdated...needed some help for sure. It was just not worth the time or money. The actual building was musky and smelled like old blankets stored in the shed. The building to be bulldozed and rebuilt. The bathrooms, woman's and Men's were beyond repair.. pure nasty. I feel bad for the staff that really cares and not trying to degrade them. The owner/management on the other hand, are the ones who need to be held accountable for such disparities in many ways that has led me in taking my time to write this bad review. It's not worth it.. I'm sure there was a time, years ago when this was a good time and a very good show. It seem that time has passed it by as so many other things on 192 has. Came here to celebrate graduating law school (not my official celebration lol my boyfriend was just trying to treat me before the bar exam) and here's my overall takeaway: 1. Service Really good! Loved our server (Bullet) he made the night fun for us (not including the show itself of course) 2. Dinner Honestly terrible. I got the lasagna and my boyfriend got the trio, and as an avid cook myself, the main thing that was missing was seasoning. The vegetables that came with the lasagna were bland, the meat sauce was bland, the marinara is VERY watery, made the chicken parm soggy. Shoutout to all the reviews that said the food wasn't great cause they are not lying. 3. Show Loved the show! Very entertaining and engaging. The singers are talented, and the show is funny. It meant a lot when they read the celebrations and said my name and achievement and the room cheered for me. The audience helps make the experience for sure! Ended up at Capone's to wrap up a Spring Break trip. First off, Covid sucks. I'm tired of masks. I'm tired of having my temp taken. Why does this matter? Because performers should NOT wear masks. The show was entertaining and the improv was good, but only as much as you could hear and understand what was being said. Sitting in the balcony, much of the comedy and many of the lines were lost due to the sound being masked. It was easy to get bored/distracted. Like others, I don't quite get the name since Capone never makes an appearance. Regardless, the acts are pretty good. Well, again, what you can make out of them. The surprising thing was how quickly we were seated and eating. There was hardly any delay once we sat down. I didn't realize you could ask for more but we didn't need to. I think it really depends on what you order. It looked like some of the dishes were pretty small. The chicken pizzaioli was very good. The spaghetti looked a little underwhelming. Lasagna looked like it would be good. The wait staff was good. The salad was small and run of the mill. A choice of appetizers would be good since not everybody eats fried cheese sticks/ravioli. As others have mentioned, the cake was surprisingly dry. But, you really come to this sort of thing more for the entertainment than the food, right? Unlimited drinks (from a limited selection) was a pleasant surprise. I stuck with rum and cola but I probably should've tried the rum runners. The surrounding tables seemed to enjoy them. One thing I would recommend to the management is keeping it a little more family friendly. There were some off-color jokes including one about an audience member not getting laid that night. There was a 13-year-old celebrating their birthday and several much younger children in the audience. I'm sure most of the jokes went over their head but probably not all. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening. If you can entertain a 15-year-old boy to the point that he's still talking about it that night, that's pretty impressive. We are locals and decided to try this dinner show because we had not been before. We were very disappointed. It started with getting a phone call telling us to be there at 7:15. We show up a few minutes early and there is is huge line of people Waiting to get in. Right in the middle of the line where we were standing was a disgusting, discarded used diaper. Not the best way to start off an evening. As we stand in line (a very slow moving line), a woman comes out and tells us to be patient because she is checking temps and letting basically 2 groups in the lobby at a time (again, because of Covid understandsble), We finally got in the building around 8 and get seated. As we sit we are surprised to see that most of the tables around us are eating and some were already done eating, sitting with their food packed up to go. So we sit and get our appetizer. One mozzarella stick and one ravioli per person. Then we get our salads. The lettuce was warm, croutons so stale you could barely bite them, and half a little cup of Italian dressing which means it was like eating a salad without dressing. The entrees were disappointing. My moms would have been the best tasting one (the lasagna) if it had not come out ice cold with hard noodles. The show began while we were eating so it was hard to follow. It was decent though with a couple of great actors. Then we got our dessert during intermission. We all got a tiny piece of the driest cake we've ever had. We ended up leaving then and did not stay for the rest of the show. The staff did a good job, but they were filled to capacity. And I mean pre Covid filled. Tl;dr: the food is bland/tastes and feels like microwave food, the drinks are cheap, the service is slow and rude, and the show tries far too hard, but ends up being annoying more than anything else. Food: I got the lasagna, my friends got the pizza, pastas, and chicken parmigiana. The food all tastes like frozen food that's been heated in a microwave -- pasta is mushy, the sauce is bland and generic, and the veggies were just plain steamed veggies (again, generic and frozen). One person in our group didn't get their food until intermission (a full hour) despite us asking our waiter several times why his order never came. Drinks: waiter came to get them but got confused/frazzled and only brought half of the table's drinks before (obviously very annoyed at us for not remembering on his behalf) so we had to tell him what they were again... and wait another ten mins for him to come by. We didn't get water until almost intermission despite asking several times for it (at one point our waiter told us in a very snippy voice that it would be awhile -- ultimately he wasn't even the one who brought our water, we had to wait for someone else). Service: see above; the servers forget orders then get annoyed when you ask them where the food is an hour later. Very rude and snippy. Rolls eyes and sighs audibly while serving. Show: honestly, the performers aren't bad, but the script and songs were obnoxious and campy so they couldn't do much with that. The show was upgraded and improved according to what I heard. I was greatly disappointed. There wasn't much that changed in the 1st half of the show. It did get better for the 2nd half. The front desk seemed to be confused and nothing seemed to be organized. We were told to be there by 7pm. Everyone with general admission waited outside until 7:30 or so. My voice message said to be there at 6pm for the VIP experience which we couldn't have because of us having a toddler with us. Another point of confusion was do I have to pre-pay the tip or not? When I talked to someone on the phone, I was told no because we had 9 paying tickets and 1 free child. I went inside to ask and was told to wait outside. Finally someone came outside with entrance tickets, but I didn't have any because I had to go inside to pre-pay for the tip because we had a party of 10. Once seated, the food choices were dismal compared to what I've seen in the past. We started to eat about 8pm, about 10 minutes before the show started. The food was disappointing to say the least. Probably some of the worst hamburgers and pizza you could get in Orlando. The Italian dishes were OK, but not up to expectations. I see other reviewers had the same experience. Update.. The only way this place to still be open is because unsuspecting tourists don't do their homework or read the reviews. Not only will you get sick from the nasty unedible food but the entertainment is like a high school show! Not worthy of charging for a low budget low class production. We had a great time at this dinner show. They are currently offering a sit down menu which includes a side salad, an entree, and a dessert. Plus all you can drink soda (Pepsi products), rum cocktails, beer, and wine. They also provide an appetizer of mozzarella sticks and a fried ravioli with cream cheese inside. The food was good and the portions were HUGE, you will not leave hungry! We had the VIP experience and it was fun, knocking on the door and providing the password to enter, then heading upstairs to the bar to order the drinks. Once you have the beverage in hand, they show you to your table. Pretty much the moment you sit the staff takes your food order and the appetizer and salad are served (choice of ranch or Italian dressing on the salad). The only drawbacks we had were: There was a very large party (about 20 people) that sat behind us and they were very rude and loud. Two of them pushed their chairs all the way back so they were literally pushed up against my mom and my chairs, which made it uncomfortable because of the pandemic. They were also loud and started watching loud videos on their phones while the show was going on. Staff did not handle the situation well and it was very disturbing to all parties around. Also, they called and asked us to arrive at 5:45pm, which we did. But we finished our meal around 7-ish and then just sat there waiting. The show didn't start til around 8pm and then we didn't leave the restaurant/show until around 10pm. Being there for a little over 4 hours was a little much, especially when having to deal with the party mentioned above. The show itself was funny and the costumes were beautiful. They really did a great job making you feel like you were in a speakeasy. All in all we had a great time, the food was good, and the show had us laughing. It's probably only a one time visit for us. But it was fun! COVID things they are doing: only allowing 10 people in the gift shop at a time, masks must be worn in the building (except while sitting at the table), temperature checks at the door, and social distancing tables. There were several times people were walking around without masks (guests only the servers had masks the whole time) and no one said anything to them. Also we did not see any hand sanitizing stations anywhere. The VIP pass did not have the gambling or extra time with the cast mingling (due to the pandemic) and we did not have time to visit the gift shop besides walking through for the temperature check. They do take a group photo once you enter the speakeasy which was a fun commemorative item we bought the package which was $30 for 2 keychains, a newspaper print, and a case file photo of our group. read more

We have been to this Dinner show a couple of times. One time with some friends and another time for our anniversary. You can get some good deals on line sometimes or in the book for Orlando you can pick up. The food one time was not that great and the next time it was a bit better. You do not go to this show expecting good food. The story line was good and the actors did a good job. You get free drinks as well, It was entertaining and a good night out. They have had this show for many years now and it is not bad. I don't know why the negative reviews. They deserve a 4 star for the entertainment. We really enjoyed it both times. Go with the lowest expectations possible and you might have a good time! The venue itself and the actual show were great. I will say that with the caveat of the interior having an odor, which may have had to do with the three (yes three!) backed up toilets in the ladies restroom. We went as a party of eight- four kids, and four adults. The show had some slightly inappropriate jokes, but nothing out of hand. The food itself was kid, friendly, and reminded me of frozen meals (Stouffer's mac n chz and lasagna for sure!) The pasta dishes were runny and essentially just tomato sauce as the main flavor. The "spicy" pasta dish was spicy with Sriracha which is definitely not Italian. The chicken nuggets taste exactly like McDonald's chicken nuggets, which I love so that wasn't a problem. Honestly, the french fries and nuggets were by far the best thing on the menu. We opted to purchase, VIP, which did not include a meet and greet, although it said it did. The venue itself was only about 25% full so we probably would've got the VIP seating even if we didn't upgrade. The VIP also included souvenir cups, which ended up being shot glasses for our kids. The table behind us, judged us when our children began taking shots of soda (but what do you expect?!) They took our mugshot as we entered, and we were able to purchase a $30 package that included a fake newspaper with our mugshot on the front page, two photo keychains, some blank police documents that we are expected to fill out, I assume, and one mugshot photo. The servers and bartenders were somewhat in character and definitely did not encourage or support if you also tried to be in character. That was weird. Overall, the show was a good time despite the food and staff being lame. Would I do it again or recommend it to anyone? No. Was it worth it even with the 50% discount? Definitely not. Tip: Go drunk! We just LOVED it!! My wife and daughters came for a dinner show and had so much fun. We purchased the VIP package and were admitted early and playing blackjack. My youngest won the game and left with a free shirt. Deal was so friendly and helpful with her showing her how to play while still maintaining his character. The show, just amazing! We all had smiles and laughs during the entire show. This was so worth it. The food was good, but you go here for the show and the food is just a value add. Went here on our last day of vacation, we were enjoying the show, until intermission that is. While waiting for the 2nd half of the show, a child from the balcony decided to spit on us. Yes SPIT! Contacted the manager and he appeared as upset as I was. He went up and found the child and his parents(I don't know what was said). BUT He never came back to talk to us, offer to move us or replace our spit on food or drinks. He NEVER even acknowledged us again. We saw the child and his parents go back to their CLEAN table, drinks and food. We were absolutely dumbfounded.... I mean as a manager you would think he would have asked them to leave, or at least move/replace our food or drink. Nothing was done about. We felt so disgusted and grossed out we couldn't stay. As we were leaving The manager was standing in lobby and when I told him how upset I was, his only response was silence. After we left, I tried to contact someone else at Capones and haven't not received any response. I understand that management can not control how others act, however I expected them to at least try to make things right, and at the very least replace our food/drinks, and clean the table we were at. We would've liked to see the end of the show, but will not be returning here on our next vacation. read more

Upon arrival, we waited outside in line for about 15-20 mins. We purchased VIP, but they weren't letting folks in yet. A woman came out to invite us in - kind of an odd interchange between her and the lines of folks. She said 'no one in here is picking on you. If you can't take a joke, you can leave.' Again, quite odd. There were supposed to be table games and a bar atmosphere for the initial part. We were ushered in, upstairs for a drink, and then to our table for dinner. The waiter said it was due to COVID - probably should indicate that on the very voluminous website. We received our 'appetizer' - one mozzarella stick and one fried cheese ravioli. Within moment our salad was there, followed in short order by our meals. I had penne alla vodka and hubs had the 'trio'. Wasn't really vodka sauce, but it was OK. The lasagna and chicken parm on the trio were ok, but the 3rd item of a trio probably shouldn't be a bowl of steamed veggies. Again, kind of odd. Service was great initially - it's all you can drink, so drinks were coming quickly. We were done with everything by 7:00, and the show didn't start until 8. Glad for that all you can drink!! Once the regular ticket holders came in, service was more spotty, but server was still a great guy. Very funny. We sat right next to the stage. Very little interaction overall between the performers and the audience - and what there was wouldn't offend anyone or make someone 'not take a joke' (as the initial woman outside had said). I don't usually do dinner shows but I was sucked in by the glossy advertisement. We were not disappointed. We enjoy supporting the arts and purchased the VIP package. Then only extras are a real drink, earlier arrival, and maybe a better seat. Although I saw regular tickets getting close to the stage as well. We lined up for a 5:45 pm arrival. Everyone in the long line is also a VIP. They don't let regular tickets in until VIP is done. Then you get your pass code, take your pictures go upstairs to the bar, and get you only real boozy drink for the night. However, throughout dinner you can choose beer, wine, or something seriously watered down. Or you have the option of paying for a stiffer drink. The menu is extensive, and the food surprisingly good. Everyone is served chocolate cake for dessert, (at intermission),but for those sensitive, there is a sorbet in a cup option. The seating is spacious now, due to Covid. I imagine you used to be stuffed like sardines. We brought cash for tips. Your waiter will wear the tip in a garter on his arm. They all like to show off. Excellent time to take in the show. Ok so you don't go to a dinner theater for the gourmet food but this food was barely edible. Even the pizza was bad. Pesto dish was swimming in oil and all sauces are straight Ragu from the jar. We purchased the VIP and only got one drink as a result. I do not recommend doing this upgrade at all. The show was ok personally I thought it needed a little more action but .... The themes are adult but nothing too racy that a kid wouldn't see on a prime time sitcom. The wait staff was excellent and very attentive. Came to Capone's for my birthday while visiting Orlando with 3 friends. This is a show....a very cute show...but it is not Broadway and you will not get a Broadway performance. This is a typical diner show that will make you laugh and at times wonder what is going on and why. We made our reservations online and received a discount for doing so. Once you arrive, you are lined up and then ushered in by your party to take your "mug shot". Then you are lead upstairs to the bar. You are required to purchase ONE drink from the bar....any drink you want. They have beer, wine, liquor, soda, water. This does NOT have to be an alcoholic drink. They supply some light snacks to nibble on while waiting to be seated. Nothing to write home and brag about. Pizza, onion rings, nachos, fries. Finally when they call the name of your group, they take you to your seat. The tables are crammed together, not leaving much leg room or arm space. Very tight area, but once everyone settles in for the show, there shouldn't be much moving around. The buffet is set up in the back, and your waiter comes to see you to let you know when your turn to go is. This was a great way to control the crowd at the buffet. The buffet is all you can eat, and it is unlimited CERTAIN drinks. But you can order form the bar and pay. The buffet was loaded; pasta, alfredo, cheese, or marinara sauce, Italian meatballs, Italian sausage, peppers and onions, baked ziti, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, pizza, salad bar, and a carving station. Food was typical buffet, bland taste of many choices. However the carving station was pretty darn good. The rum punch was a little more Kool-Aid than rum, but hey....it is unlimited. The staff is super great....always smiling and very friendly taking many parts in the show. They encourage you to participate and have fun, and even bring guests on stage. The show itself is cute and funny, but they seemed to be wasting time with questions to the audience and bringing kids on stage. I don't believe that kids would be allowed in a speakeasy back in the day. The dancers were adorable and the clothes were spot on for that time period. This place was fun and the show was hilarious. I brought my 7 year old daughter and her 70 year old grandpa and they both had a blast. The waiters were very nice and the food was great. The actors and actresses were so funny i almost peed my pants. The only reason I'm giving it 4/5 stars is because i did not get my VIP souvenir shot glass at the end of the show as they kinda ushered us out fairly quickly, but other than that it definitely was an experience to remember. The prices were good and my daughter bought ALOT of souvenirs. I wish the actresses and actors didn't wear masks while on the stage so we could see their full expressions while preforming. When in Orlando for business, do what the locals do and skip Disney and Universal Studios. So my wife and I that meant visiting the famous Capones dinner's show! Understand, my wife and I have seen a lot of Las Vegas or NYC style shows and if your expecting a show production of that magnitude, you will be a bit disappointed. However, this is a fun show with a lot of laughs, good costumes, great service and a tearless ending. It's more kid friendly than what's on TV now days so there were a number of families but again it is a 1.5 hour play with just one intermission. We purchased the VIP tickets, so we got in the theater early and had good front row seats. Lots of folks in the audience's were celebrating birthdays and anniversaries and if your are celebrating one, make a point to inform them when purchasing tickets on line. All servers are in costume and our's was Lucky who did an outstanding job. Lots of good Italian dishes to choose from so we enjoyed our dinner. Alcoholic drinks were plentiful and good. If you want fancy cocktails they are a little extra but not excessively expensive. We were fortunate enough to share a table with a nice family from England who were touring Florida who talked our ears off. The only negative is the building is showing it's age and is due for some fresh updates. You can tell a lot of people over the years have seen this show due to its long running popularity. So if you are looking for an inexpensive fun time with your friends, wife, family or mistress, it's worth the price of entry. read more

Very Good show, food OK, Men's room putrid. Recommend getting your immunizations before going.

I don't like doing negative reviews but I'm afraid this place deserves in my opinion some comments on things that could be improved on. First- the food- yes it's a touristy place so we weren't expecting anything amazing but it honestly reminded me of eating food out of my high school cafeteria- frozen veggies reheated, iceberg lettuce salad and for one of our friends no sauce on their pasta. We had nine kids with us who often will eat anything and even they said their burgers and pizza were gross and left them uneaten. Second- the unlimited alcohol- again we didn't expect stiff drinks but we had to check our red cocktail drink vs the kids fruit punch to make sure they didn't get switched on accident as we tasted no difference. Third- the show is "kid friendly" well we had nine kids in our party age 6-17 and I noticed probably 10 sexual inuendo comments. How is that kid friendly? Fourth- lastly the show just wasn't that good in my opinion. Mostly singing, and dancing with some cheesy jokes. Capone didn't even make it into the show! They're like "oh he's dead" well yes but isn't the setting still in the 30's? My kids were like where's the mobsters and Tommy guns and shooting up action stuff and competition? I just think they're riding on that they've been doing this 29 years and since touristy area people will still come- but I think they could do so much more! Traveling from NJ, 2 women adults and 3 kids (boys) ages 14, 13 and 12. We visited this past week while in the area for vacation. First, we got the VIP experience which IMO was not worth the additional $ upgrade as every seat on the bottom level offers a good view of the stage. Only nice part was early admission. Now, let's talk about the show. When we first arrived, we were excited that everyone seemed to be in character and the kids were enjoying the experience .... Until the show started. Unfortunately, we had a completely different expectation of what the show was going to be. It was more of a musical with dancing and not much of a storyline. The main actor and actress/husband and wife were the two best characters and were enjoyable to watch. Other than that, the storyline itself lacked depth or insight to the time period it was set in. Disappointing. I wish they spent some time incorporating some history, etc. to the script or even use the male staff more in the show to help portray the gangster/mafia experience/lifestyle. Lastly, the service and food. Bullets was our server and he was awesome! Super attentive and fun. He even filled a special request for one of our picky eaters. Note: Bring cash to tip the wait/bar staff as it is not included in the admission price. Food - less than mediocre unfortunately. We didn't expect too much going in but the Trio left much to be desired. With that said, my son thoroughly enjoyed the pizza and he is tough to impress. When in doubt, order the pizza! The apple turnover was decent. Nothing better than what comes packaged in plastic at a convenience store but, it was fresh and perfectly edible. We likely wouldn't visit again, unfortunately. With that said, it's not a crazy expensive night out and certainly provided some enjoyment. Hope this helps! P.S. They offer a cute picture package of your group for $30. Capone's is a one of a kind dinner theatre that captures the imagination and charm of a 1920s speakeasy. The food is good for the money and the service is impeccable. You get unlimited drinks with your ticket. You are taken to Al Capone's private bar and given your first drink. Then you are escorted by one of Capone's crew to your assigned seats. The show was very entertaining with a lot of corny jokes but acted very well. A great show where everyone has a good time. read more

this place was advertised in a local magazine and was pretty close by so we decided to give it a shot. Don't get the VIP...i repeat Don't Get The VIP. its useless as they still sit you at a long cafeteria style table and you're forced to sit across from each other and mingle with the other patrons which can be fine but not if you're looking to have an evening out by yourselves. neighboring folks were cool but for VIP i want premium seating with distance from others. so the seating was terrible. the actors while cute and funny at times were just lacking. something that could have been so much fun and even interesting was just boring, tired and corny. the drinks were absolutely terrible and the food was disgusting. it was an ok way to kill a couple of hours but i wouldnt go back for free read more
