Capone's Flicker Lite is in a prime location of Hollywood Beach, with amazing views overlooking the intercoastal waterway with plenty of tables available any time you go. We went with some friends for dinner a couple of times on the weekend and were always warmly greeted by restaurant staff and you seat yourself at any open table on the patio and are always warmly greeted by a server at each visit. The restaurant has a full bar with reasonable drink prices and a diverse menu of pretty much any type of food you could ask for. We always order a salad to share (I think it's around $12-15) and it's plenty big for two people to share. I always order the Brie burger and OMG it's amazing and also comes with a side of fries for less than $20. The food and service are always outstanding and I recommend the restaurant to anyone who is in the area looking for outstanding food and service! read more

Horrible! What happened to the food here? We haven't been here in about 3 years, but it was always someplace we'd stop in for dinner when in Hollywood. Went tonight and I got the chicken franchise. It was horrible, it had a burnt taste to it and about three bites in, my body was warning me to not take any further bites. The escargot (I know, that's on me for ordering it) but they literally just covered it with greasy cheese. I will say the service was decent and the crowd was a fun bunch. They must not have had the food. There are much better places, go anywhere else. read more

I came in hoping the negative reviews were exaggerated because I'm from Chicago and like to judge places for myself. That was a mistake. My brother had such a terrible experience on a previous visit that the restaurant gave him a $40 gift certificate to make things right. When we returned to use it, they refused to honor it, claiming they were under new ownership. That's not the customer's problem. If you take over a business, you should stand behind commitments made to customers, especially when those commitments were issued because of poor service. Instead of making things right, they made the experience even worse. There was no effort to accommodate us, no apology, and no attempt to earn our business. We walked out and won't be back. We gave them a chance. They failed again. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

At the end of May 2026, I had the Fresh Shucked Oysters 3 days in a row. The first two days served by Bruno a guy. They were cold on ice and delicious served with a towel under pan to soak up the condensation, the third day served by Bruna a girl, the ice was more than half melted with no towel to soak up the condensation. I had to move the shucked Oysters out of the pan because they were under water. I ate them, and the next day I had intestinal issues. For the next week plus I was sick. And I'm on vacation, we didn't go back. I'm not sure what the kitchen is like but that really sucked. Everything else was great and I should have refused to eat those Oysters. It did keep us from going back. O yeah, my Grouper Fingers Beer Batter was overcooked on the outside. A terrible thing to do to a piece of Grouper. read more

This spot is a well established waterfront sports bar and restaurant that is worth visiting. The staff is friendly, and our drinks and food were promptly served. We asked what she recommended for lunch, and she said their Chicken Parmigiana sub is the best in the area. So we ordered it up. Along with the Conch fritters and a pizza to start, and we were pleased with the food and service. We were well cared for throughout our visit. The drinks are delicious, and they have an extensive selection of brews as well. The view of the intracoastal was beautiful with a warm breeze greeting us the whole time. After dinner at Le Tub, we walked next door to Capone's Flicker Lite and notice about fifteen people playing the big arcade games next to the pool table. Fun vibe already and we were quickly greeted by staff. If I did not just consume a massive burger at Le Tub, I would have devoured one of Capone's 10" personal pizzas - nothing is better than the scent of dough cooking in the ovens. We journied outside the the wooden deck to view the intracoastal waterways and have some cocktails and beer. The bartender, Adam, was friendly and gave us an always welcoming stiff pour of Gray Goose. They offer additional seating at the front patio with several wooden tables with red umbrellas. We had grouper sandwich, stuffed manicotti, buffalo wings, Jamaica jerk wings, buffalo chicken sandwich, French Brie burger and grouper tacos. Everything was very tasty. Hit this local favorite pizza parlor directly across from the Margaritaville Hotel on the intracoastal. The smell of pepperoni pizza as soon as I entered. The big pizza ovens were near the front as I passed by the bar and arcade games. Walked to the back doors of the parlor and outside to order a Titos and soda water from the small bar on the wood deck. Relaxed at a little table watching the sailboats glide by as the people waived to me and I waived back. Just a fun night to remember. I'm giving this place two stars because I do really like the spot. It's actually the only place I know on Hollywood Beach with a pool table, and I've been coming here for years. That said, I had a really bad experience this past weekend on my birthday. I went Sunday night and, normally, I always stick with the pizza and wings. This time, I decided to try their "special" barbecue ribs since it was my birthday and figured I'd treat myself. Big mistake. The ribs tasted off, but I still ate them since it was my birthday. Later that night and into the next day, I got really sick. I went to work Monday feeling terrible and ended up having to call out the next day. I'm just now starting to feel better. The server was very gentle and seemed ashamed all the time for the wait. More than an hour since we arrived and ordered our food immediately, because.... again, we were starving. I ordered a spaghetti carbonara and my girlfriend ordered a burger. After one hour waiting and watching how the other tables were receiving food finally our food arrived. My carbonara pasta was not a carbonara but a aglio olio swimming in grease with a lot of garlic and some bacon on it. My girlfriend's hamburger and French fries were cold and dry. We were at the beach and decided to give this place a try since it had an amazing view of the sunset on the backside area of the restaurant. We were lucky and got there while it was happy hour so we tried their margarita and their potato skin dipper. The margarita was good but nothing special. The skin dipper were disappointing since it did not seem like it was accurate description of what we got: it was potato fries with melted cheese and bacon on top. Where to begin? I think the fact that we found parking right up front was the highlight of our experience says a lot...You seat yourself, fine no problem...There was only one or two clean tables (mind you the place was empty around 330pm) so we picked a table with a decent view right near the main door. Fine...it will get better I tell myself...We finished our apps and my husband ordered another beer...it was forgotten...maybe 10 min later I get our server's attention and remind him about the beer and that we needed to order our entrees. I ordered the linguine aglio e olio and my husband ordered the linguine fra diavolo with seafood. I also ordered a penne a la vodka with chicken to go for my daughter...each entree came with a salad because we were asked what dressing we would like with each. Well the salads never came and when he brought out the pastas I was like uhh we never got our salads. He asked me if I still wanted them and I said no because he was literally standing there with my entrees. The pastas were a disappointment...both linguines were overcooked and came in broken pieces which was terrible because you couldn't twirl the pasta on a fork...you had to use the spoon. We made the best of it, and ate for a bit and then just decided to call it quits. We usually always order a dessert and coffee, but the next time I saw our server I just asked for a tiramisu to go as well. He brought out the entree for my daughter with her salad and the dessert and I also asked for the 2 salads we were never served so he brought those out no problem.
