We ordered a pepperoni pizza and garlic knots for a 615 pickup. Arrived at 620 and the lady at the counter didn't think she had my order, but eventually came out with it. The young man in the restaurant was super nice and offered a warm greeting and held the door for me as I left. Although, we didn't dine in, the place is really cute and inviting. I delivered the pizza to my destination at 640. I suppose this was too much driving. When we dug into the pizza, it was moderately cold. I do like it this way so I went for it. My bae decided to heat it up in the air fryer. The pizza crust was a little tough and a little overdone for me. I do like a crispy well done pizza, just not as much as this one was. We tried Capo's for the first time because they are on Offline and I was so glad we did! Their pizzas are amazing, so big and full of toppings. The server was so helpful with navigating the menu and the favorites. We chose a lunch special with a slice of pizza and a drink and added an order of wings with fries. It was all so good and left me more than full. The dining area was very clean with a classic pizzeria vibe. I know they have several locations and look forward to trying others after this experience! TLDR: If you're looking for Buffalo-style pizza, this is your place. Capo's is a nifty pizzeria that claims to do both thin NY-style pizza and slightly thicker 'Nickel City' style (aka Buffalo, NY style pizza). I can't speak to the former, but they damn well nailed the latter. 'Buffalo Style' is best described as a cross between its New York and Chicago style. The crust thickness is somewhere in between the two, and it comes with copious amounts of cheese - so much so that the toppings tend to slide around! We ended up trying a sausage and mushroom pie; service was good, it came out promptly and piping hot. Delish, good quality sausage bits, and lots of melty cheese. If you like your pies with extra cheese, this is your place. :-) Definitely returning, this pie was one of the top 5 I've had in San Antonio. This place scores a 4 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Buffalo, New York style! This place is buffalo proud! They have solid beer prices all the time. It seems like a great place to drink- their happy hour prices are wonderful! Check out their Slice and a Pint lunch specials too! I ended up getting the ham sub, which was piled with delicious Italian hams, soft delicious, pliable cheese on a flaky roll. Service was overworked, our server was running the counter and the tables, and seems a bit overworked. Drinks were kinda late getting out to the tables. They have sports on all the time. I went on a Monday afternoon, and they had a previously recorded Bills game. They're big Bills fan. I dunno why they have Cowboys signs in there. I like all the mafioso stuff going on in there, posters, pics. They seem to be big on NY organized crime. Parking is easy, and the restaurant was clean. The menu is pretty forward and simple- subs, salads, and pizza. I gotta try their pizza next time. It looked gooey and delicious. read more

We recently tried capo's different from our regular pizza place based on reviews, it started with the order taker thinking that we wanted a half supreme and half 'peas' pizza after we got that straight I got the pizza to go half supreme half cheese. I'd give a 2/5 it was ok but we'll go back to our regular pizza place. read more

Went here with a big group here for dinner. WOW! This is probably my new favorite pizza place in town. The crust was cooked to perfection and the buffalo mozzarella they use is so incredibly delicious. My only suggestion is higher quality plates and plastic ware. Sometimes I need a fork and knife when eating a large piece of pizza and the forks and knives they gave us we so flimsy they almost immediately broke. I don't care though, I'll bring my own silverware if I have to. It's that good! LOL read more

Very friendly service right when I walked in. You can tell the people who work there love it. Though it was clean there was construction happening inside which was a bit loud but it was only near the end of me eating there. At the time I was there around 1pm, it wasn't busy and I was the only one inside. The pizza was good but was a bit burnt on the bottom for some slices. Quite good for the price. I have been here several times before, and always loved the food. At first, I also very much appreciated the atmosphere, as I loved the jazz/blues playing softly in the background. I also liked that I could look a their many TV screens showing sports, with their volumes low or off. I could hear the music and watch sports, and I could hear my wife. We could chat without having to raise our voices. I enjoyed meeting Lewis and his wife on our third visit there. But I have seen changes... We went there one afternoon and the TV's were on really loud. There were about three other parties but no one was paying attention to the TVs. After they left, I asked the server if they could turn down the volume. It went down slightly. Next time, the TV volume was lower, but still a little uncomfortable for me. The food was OK, but not as good as before. Yesterday was the straw that broke the camel's back. I took them up on the two for one pizza deal and ordered two for pickup, as well as a sandwich for my wife. When I got there, the place was empty except for the nice servers. They greeted me happily, so I was pleased. What I immediately noticed was how loud the music was; I was glad I'd ordered to go. But the worst was when I got home and tried my Supremo 14" pizza. The sauce was extraordinarily acidic! It tasted like slightly watered down tomato paste! The dough was fine, as were the veggies and sausage, but the sauce brought the pizza down. Stopped in for lunch with Nona. Got cheesy garlic bread to start, delicious. Only knock is cold sauce. They brought some warmed sauce when we asked. Also got pizza by the slice, all was very good. Nice crust good toppings, Goomba pizza was very tasty. Mango habanero boneless wings were also really good. Nice lingering heat, but very tasty. Finally, spinach calzone was really good. Nice ricotta and plenty of spinach. Rudi, our waiter, was very nice and attentive. He did a great job. Only disappointment was the REALLY cheap plastic cutlery. The staff(Debra)was pleasant, courteous, smiling the whole time even as it was very busy with walk-in/online customers. The pizza took about 15 minutes, was freshly made/hot/delicious (Supremeo/ Goombah), salads appetizing, beer/wine cold/crisp.
