Fantastic pizza and salads. It's connected to the Black Lab Brewery and is so delicious! They seem to have a lot of to go and delivery orders, but I've only had their food there, but it's still good as leftovers so I'm sure the its good at home. The meat lovers pizza is great, the cheesy bread appetizer is a favorite (and a big portion) and all of their salads are really amazing. Parking is in the small lot outside of the building and can be full on the weekends. We've parked on the street as well. read more

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. This pizza place is attached to Black Lab brewing company so you have the opportunity to buy beers and eat at the same time. They have tons of outdoor seating. They also have indoor seating but a little bit more limited. Would definitely be recommend coming here on a warm day and sit outside. We got the Lil piggy and the buffalo chicken pizza. Depending on your appetite, they can be personal pies or you can order a few to share. We definitely ordered to share and it was more than enough for three people. You have to go up to the counter to order but once your order's in, the food comes pretty quickly in about 10 to 15 minutes. Everything tasted particularly great because we were hungry. I would come here just for the Brussels! SO good and SO many! They reminded me of Hoppy Monks Brussels. The pizza dough was super good.. and our friends pizza was really good! I cannot remember what theirs was called. Unfortunately I didn't take a pic of ours (we ordered the Piggy one). The pork tastes like tuna to me?? It was a very weird texture. I still ate a slice but mostly feasted on the Brussels. I'd try this place out again if I was invited out this way. The service is very friendly and helpful. I felt like on the night we visited, the restaurant seemed a little dingy and messy. I'm not sure why it was that was, but luckily I had some wipes to clean down my table. The pizza is decent. I love the crust because it reminds me of naan. Not sure that's what they are going for, but in many areas of the pizza, if was like eating naan and not pizza. That said the slices with toppings were yummy. The crust has a lot of chew and maybe could have used a few minutes for a little more crisp. We also got the fried pickled veggies. I'm usually a fan of fried veggies, especially pickles. This was interesting in that they seemed to have a curry flavor. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't my favorite. It seemed more misplaced than anything. Maybe in a different food genre they would be amazing. We've also picked up pizza to go and always great service. Everything was really good and food came very fast. The Brussels was crispy and had Parmesan cheese and honey on it. Would order again. Pizza was delicious. I also had the wedge salad and it was a nice size but they did not put enough dressing on it. When I asked for extra dressing, they charge me $1.50 for a small container. If you're going to charge for extra dressing make sure to put enough on the salad. Also when I order a Coke, they just gave me a can. No glass and they had no ice. So if I wanted a refill, I would pay extra for that as well since they have no soda fountain. I would go back again. They do have a bar area that serve alcoholic drinks and draft beers. San Antonio, Texas Came here based on Yelp reviews. Why? Because Yelp never disappoints me. First impressions. They have a few tables for outdoor eating. They have indoor tables which are great if you're bringing a dog as it is a dog friendly restaurant/bar. As we entered the restaurant two ladies were standing up front, Karen and Araceli. They greeted us with kindness and smiles. They gave me a menu and told me to grab a seat on either the bar side or the restaurant side and then come up to the host to stand to order. We sat on the bar side and decided on a chicken blue cheese pizza. I walked up to the bar and chose a draft from about 8 to 10 available. I like a Guinness but I like to top it with a cider or seasonal beer. The beer was listed for $10 on the menu. The bartender charged me $14 plus tax for a 12 ounce pour. And I told him that was ridiculous. He said well I gave you 10 ounces of beer +4 ounces of the other. I told him it was impossible to put that all into a 12 ounce glass. I think you overcharged me. He vehemently denied it. I was not happy but paid him the cost of roughly a one and a half beers when in reality, I only got one. And I tipped him on top of that because I felt bad for his ridiculous math skills. Our pizza came out and the hostess apologized for the size of the pizza. She said that the chef thought it was too small for what he normally makes. We were OK with the size. She insisted on making us another one and we insisted it was not necessary. I will say that I thought that there was not enough chicken on the pizza. however, I was blown away by the taste of the dough. The pizza was good and I would definitely come back. I know that many people said they would not go out of their way for this pizza. I disagree. I would go out of my way to grab a pie from them. However, I would not have a draft beer. I m truly appalled at paying $14 for a draft beer that was listed for $10. If you want to charge extra then give me a full poor $10 and half a pour of the other for $4. Feel like I was ripped off. I would given this place 4.8 stars for the pizza. 5 stars for the hostess staff. 2 stars for the bartender. This averages 3.9 stars. But since I loved the pizza and the hostess I will rate my experience on those two and give this place 4.9 stars. read more

I would never think Brussels sprouts and balsamic glaze on pizza would work so well together but I am impressed. Everyone who worked there was really friendly too. For the price it wasn't what was expected. A cheese pizza with fresh Parmesan and 12 wings was $40. The pizza was just okay. The pizza sauce can make or break a pizza and in this case it was very bland and made it not pleasant to eat. The wings were okay. They could've been sauced better and I also received buffalo instead of pineapple sriracha but the sweet bbq again was just okay. Service was good. The pizza came out really quickly, the wings not so much. They have crushed pepper and grated cheese packets on all the tables so you can take as much as you'd like, which was nice. Food: My mom and I shared The Situation (pesto, pepperoni, salami, pepperoncini, red onion and basil) and the fried Brussels (lemon, honey parm). The pizza crust itself was light and airy, but still stood up to the toppings. As for the toppings: the pesto on the pizza tasted fresh like they had made it in house, the pepperoni was not too greasy, and I appreciated that everything else was cut into thin strips and spread evenly across the pizza. All in all, we throughly enjoyed this pie/flavor combo and found it to be well balanced. The fried Brussels were recommended by over server after I inquired about the most popular starters. They were crispy, but not burnt or greasy. The lemon, honey and parm toppings paired nicely with the Brussels-- again a well balanced dish. Seating: There are plenty of tables both indoors and outdoors + a bar area. It's a great space to gather and be social. There was a huge group of cyclists who stopped in while we were there. Service: I want to preface this by saying that everyone was nice and welcoming. There is a hostess at the front who seated us and took our order. However, it was our first time there, and we didn't know that we had to go back to the stand to pay at the end of our meal. We were done with our food for a while before we noticed. I wish that would have been explained to us since they don't offer what I would consider traditional service like checking on us past initially receiving the food, refilling waters or bringing the check. Maybe it would have been different if we were also ordering drinks. It like there's a hostess, but no real server. I've seen complaints about service from other reviewers. Personally, I think they should require customers to order and pay up front prior to receiving the food. They could track orders with numbers or placards. That way the customer doesn't expect service that the staff are unable to provide especially when the restaurant gets busy. Verdict: I'll definitely be back, and try to-go ordering. read more

I noticed 2-1 Dough Pizza and loved the photos of the airy yet chewy looking crust and decided I had to try it. Nothing about this pizza disappointed! Pepperoni 9.5/10 I loved the combination of the strong red sauce with the cheese and pepperoni/meatball pizza. The garlic balanced with Italian herbs and FRESH toppings made this a very hard pizza to ever beat, regardless of location. My only dream would be to have a duo of the larger pepperoni with cupped pepperoni next time. Ranch 400/10 It's clear they make this fresh in house because the dill and herbs SING.
