First time I came I was SO impressed. This time I was equally disappointed. My friend and I came for a late lunch. We both ordered the salmon salad for $18. Perhaps I wrongly assumed we would get a salad with piece of salmon on top. We got a chopped salad - which was fresh and tasty and well-dressed, that included literally 4 at best, 1 inch x 1 inch chunks of salmon - with the skin on. And the salmon tasted fishy. For the price, one expects at least a small filet of salmon on top of the salad. And at the very least one that doesn't taste fishy and aged. Not sure I want to take a chance again. read more

I came here two weeks ago based on some really great reviews and they did not disappoint. I ordered my food to pick up. I got to the location. The restaurant has parking in the back and around the side. There's also street parking. The ambience on the inside was elegant and tasteful with a bit of old charm.I picked up my order the cashier says. I ordered the Cappadocia Branzino. It was a whole grilled branzino seasoned in house special spices, springs, lemon, and garlic. It also comes with a that was delicious with carrots, cucumbers, red onions, parsley, lettuce and a house made dressing. The salad was delicious and full of flavor. The dressing really was delicious and didn't over power the salad but really complimented the salad. The meal also came with this delicious rice, but I'm not sure what type of rice it was. It was firm but not hard and really glided on each bite. The branzino was out of this world it was moist the special seasonings were throughout the entire fish it was really seasoned and prepared well. You could taste it on each bite. The garlic was delicious and not overpowering.I ordered the whole fish (you could get it fillet, but I didn't want it that way). I ate every bite of the fish. It was amazing. Wonderful Turkish restaurant in Little Falls! After driving by hundreds of times, my family and I finally decided to give Cappadocia a try. It was fantastic! I can't believe I waited so long to try. The restaurant itself is clean, neat, and spacious. We went on a Sunday evening so it was relatively quiet. The person serving us was very friendly and was happy to have us there. The food itself was delicious. We started with the pick 3 appetizer of hummus, grape leaves, and baba ganoush. I can't pick my favorite because they were all so fresh and so tasty. The bread they served with it was fluffy and warm. I could have made a meal from this alone. I had the chicken kebab as my entree and it was so juicy and moist, not dry at all. I loved the rice pilaf it was served with. I thought the carrot salad was also a great addition. Portions were big and we all took leftovers home. It is also BYOB - major plus!! read more

We came on a quiet Thursday evening, been raining on and off. Place looks like a larger house, dining room was roomy; parking was on the side of the restaurant. BYOB, forgot to bring a bottle but will remember next time. We were not particularly hungry but wanted to have something delicious. Our choices were; shepards salad, claypot shrimp and whole grilled bronzino. We've had seafood in many places and many ways. Cappadocia's grilled fish was one of the best we had. Crispy char all over, fins crispy enough to eat, juicy and done just so inside, not a dry part in the whole fish. Understated seasonings to allow the freshness of the fish to come through. Our server shared that the fish came over from fresher waters off Turkey, I believe it. Shrimp was delicious, again minimal seasoning letting the fresh seafood do all the talking. Although it's not cheap, their serving portions are generous. Two of us enjoyed the food ordered, which for tonigh was the right amount. Will come back to try other menu items in future. This Turkish restaurant lives up to the flavors of its background. From the quality to quantity I felt amazed to learn that a semi small place like this exists. It looks like a house, and parking lot is located in the back once you pull in. It has a table setting, and accommodates more for larger groups. Came here for a church party after Easter mass. The pre-fix menu packed a nice punch. The quality of the items that came out were amazing. The taste was delicious. I left satisfied with my meal. The service was always around, even with a very large fully filled restaurant. They were exceptional with serving us all today. Not one complaint. Well reading all the great reviews we were excited to try this restaurant, well I can say it was a disappointment. The only ite was the appetizers were very good. The main dishes were anything but good. With screaming kids and the noise level off the chart, we will not be returning. We didn't understand that the entrees had chopped ice berg lettuce with no dressing taking up half the plate. The only good point was service and how fast the food came out Won't return and we love Mediterranean food. Best Turkish restaurant I've been to; SO good! We absolutely fell in love with the fresh and zesty tabbouleh - some of the best I've ever had, I wish we had ordered more! The baba ghanoush was creamy, smokey and addicting. They set the bar high with their appetizers and kept it there by not disappointing with the kabobs. A nice BYOB for Saturday date night, with friendly service, a warm atmosphere and decent Turkish food. In general, all the dishes were high quality and well-presented, but everything was under-seasoned. We split the appetizer platter, which included hummus, grape leaves, lebneh (yogurt dip), baba ghanosh, and an eggplant-tomato dip. It was served with a warm bread, which I thought was the best part of the meal. Not like the typical flat bland pitas, this sesame-topped bread had a fluffy focaccia-like texture, which was delicious with the dips. Sadly the dips all lacked salt so the bread really saved the evening. For the main course, we shared the combination meat platter, which featured lamb kebab, chicken kebab, kofke (beef and lamb patty) and Adana (ground lamb kebab), all served on bed of rice. Again, everything could've used more seasoning, so the salt shaker was heavily used at our table. The platter would've benefitted from some sauce, especially the chicken, which was simply grilled. Thankfully we had some leftover dips, and pairing the lebneh and eggplant-tomato with the grilled meats upped the flavor factor. The turkish coffee was a nice way to end the meal. Very much like a strong espresso or Cuban coffee, you can order it with or without sugar and pair it with their pastries (we skipped dessert). Service was friendly and efficient. The chef-owner stopped by to check on us, which was a nice touch. I would give this place another try. read more

We were visiting the area and were pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant. I had the Chicken Adana and the Piyaz Salad. The chicken was juicy and very flavorful. The salad was amazing. The addition of beans and parsley took it over the top. The staff was friendly and the whole building including the bathrooms was extremely clean. I recommend this place without hesitation. Excellent Turkish restaurant located in Little Falls. Hummus was fantastic, served warm with beef. This was a first for me! Our lamb dishes were excellent accompaniment with rice and salad. FYI we attended early afternoon and the restaurant was nearly empty. Even though there were only me and other couple dining in the entire restaurant, service was lacking and not attentive. I had a falafel platter which was pretty good though it was supposed to have rice but came with salad which was fine but the falafel were a little too dense and bland for my liking hence the 4 stars. Hummus was excellent as was the bread they serve with it and at $12 it's a great value. Finally I asked the person who took the order for a cup of tea (as he was rushing away) which never came so when the food arrived I asked again and that person brought it which was minor but the fine details are what separates good from great and in my opinion Cappadocoia has the potential to be one of the greats. read more

The servers were friendly and helpful. Love the BYOB policy. Cappadocia happens to be a few minutes from my friend's house so we decided to stop and eat here on the way. First off, let me start by saying that the tables are really far apart from each other which I absolutely loved! The prices are very reasonable compared to other Turkish restaurants that I've been to! My friends ordered two wraps each--one Adana and one Chicken wrap. EDIT: I took out references to pork. i must have misremembered what was in the mixed grill meal. I took my family here for Mother's Day. We had a very nice meal but also received very slow service as the restaurant was swamped. Every step of the meal took quite a while. That being said we enjoyed our meals. We all split an appetizer platter that contained 4 or five different dips. The standout to me was the baba ganoosh. The other shared appetizer was a cheese pastry appetizer that we all thought had a great taste. For dinner my wife and I split the mixed grill meal. Our opinion on it is....mixed. The lamb kebab was easily the best meat on the plate with a flavorful variety of spices.The chicken was fine. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere that definitely invokes a Mediterranean feel. Also parking in the back is limited but you should be able to find parking on the street or a side street if necessary. I would like to come back again on a day that is not as hectic as Mother's Day to try Cappadocia again. There is a lot of great things going on here and I think my second visit would be better than the first. read more

Great food, really nice place where to have dinner or lunch and incredibly clean! Trust sparkling clean, which is very important especially during these times. The staff was great, accommodated us on a nice table and we were the only one eating in the restaurant. We order a variety of vegetarian dishes and I think we had the most amazing falafel we ever have. The hummus is fantastic and so is the bread. The shepherds salads was to die for. This is the first five-star Turkish dinning place on my list. My co-worker told me this hinden gem, not far from the busy shopping center. So we came for a meeting lunch. On a Friday linch time, there are only two tables taken including us. "That is not a good sign...", I told myself. However, living experience always told us the first impression might be biased. The waiter now has his full attention on our table. I can tell that he is new and do not know all the details for every dish. But I can also tell that he is trying his best to help us. The lunch special, which has three "course" caught our attention and al five of us order it with varieties. My is salad, tabboulenh, and shish kabab. The salad is very faloverful and refreshing. The lamb kabab is the, not one of the, best cook lamb kabab I have ever tasted among Mediterranean place. He meat is well seasoned and grilled. It's tenderness is like median rare filet steak. I was actually surprised that someone can grill the kabab at this level. I only concern is that whether they can cook with consistency when I come next time. We ordered pretty everything on the dessert menu. There is an interesting item with dyed pear, pickled cucumber, and cotton candy in combination. read more
